There's this guy Ben Fairthorne on twitter, he reports on Chelsea from time to time, he now tweets "Mourinho has been with Mendes this afternoon - Griezmann is a done deal." He's been right about Depay-United when everyone said Livepool are favorites.

I agree that we need another creative/technical midfielder, probably a CM, i would like us to go after Gundogan or Kovacic if we cant get Koke or Pogba (though he isnt creative). And about Griezmann playing RW, why not? he would play the same way Schurrle tried to play, and dont forget Griezmann strong foot is his left.

Koke and Griezmann wont be here together, its obviuos, i suggest to people to stop thinking about it.

Pogba is definitely not a proven "Elite" player. An Elite talent for sure but as a footballer/midfielder? Not yet at least. The point is that while I think he'll get to the highest levels, maybe even ballon d'or level one day, he's yet to prove he's a SURE thing. I wouldn't be unbelievably surprised if in 2 years he'll be kind of a disappointment (by the standart people expect from him). His talent is what impresses me the most but his overall game not so much so far. He's a gamble I would like to take though, no denying.

Spanish and especially Barcelona fans saying he doesnt show in big games, and maybe there's a point, but how is it that no one reminds the little fact he assisted and had the biggest part in Spain's winning goal in a WC final? that assist was a great one! Im not saying it says something, its only one assist, but Iniesta gets so much credit for that goal and it was a like the final evidence of him being a true winner, and its a finish he had to make, but Cesc gets no credit for an assist that isnt an obvious one imo.

About transfer rumors, thats your opinion, i and i think most fans think there's serious difference between sources, if you really follow it you can tell who really know something and who's just shooting everwhere without aiming. And ok, you say elite players, i say RESULTS and only that puts you in higher or lower brackets. If the improvement of Koke and Griezman or anyone else can get us results i dont care, i also dont care how we do it. I dont care about how people see us, when we'll be dominant in CL like Real and Barca everyone will know how good we are even if we dont have Pogba or another "elite" player besides Hazard. I dont think thats what wins you titles especially with Mou's tactics in CL.

But about how many clubs have been in for players, first of all you need to separate the serious rumors of relieble sources from shit from Metro, DM, even Telegraph sometimes. I havent seen anything relieble for Matic, Costa or Cesc, and i mean in the window that we signed them. and i also havent seen anything serious about Costa or Matic in the previous windows. Like i said for Hazard we and City and probably PSG (i forgot) were the only clubs to be willing to pay the money he and Lille wanted. Liverpool and Tottenham? come on, West Ham probably wanted him too. About Koke-Barcelona, Koke said it himself, and its being talked about in Spain as a fact. Barca wanted him, he wanted to stay and they got Rakitic.

No one was after Cesc, Costa, Matic and Hazard (only city and us), so that means nothing. Very few clubs can afford those players and they are always fine in most positions... no one was after Modric or Kroos when Real got them, no one was after D.Silva or Boateng except the clubs who signed them. Pogba is a unique talent with huge potential to be a real global star also because of his style of play, so everyone will throw something and rightly so, I'm sure we're interested too, but only one club will sign him. Btw, Barcelona activated Koke's buy out last summer and there are rumors about Griezmann-Bayern. Just so I'll understand, if we can't get Pogba you suggest we shouldn't get anyone? Pogba or bust? How's that going to help? that's not how things work in football or in anything in life... and like I said, it's more than a "stars" game, Mourinho's safe style of play in the big stages means you don't need so many superstars to compete.

Why would Pogba or Koke or Griezmann need to "boss a game" by themselves? its a team game, Koke-Matic-Cesc-Hazard can boss a game, thats all we need to know, i dont know when would we need Pogba to boss a game by himslef, we're not Tottenham. Maybe in Juventus he needs to do that sometimes, they play 4-3-1-2 with no wingers and very little creativity, i can hardly see him doing that in Chelsea, Real or Barcelona. Even Ronaldo is not "bossing games" by himself, only player i can think of (in a top club, not Liverpool with Suarez) is Messi. Im not disagreeing with you about Pogba. He could be great here but maybe its time for you to realise its not the only option and he probably wont play here.

Im all for Pogba but i cant see how Koke+Griezmann "leaves us short of the big guns" and Pogba supposedly bring us to the same level. I mean, Pogba imo is better than Koke or Griezmann, but its just one player with all the respect for his talents. Like with Pogba, Koke+Griezmann will make us complete imo, and imo we'll be able to compete every year with Barcelona, Real and Bayern. On paper off course. You always need to remember Mourinho would never play a high line such as the one Bayern and Barca played yesterday, if we'll play anyone of those 3 teams he'll sit back no metter what players he'll have because in his opinion its the most safe option, its the safer bet and Jose doesnt like bets. If Jose watcehd yesterday's game im sure he thought "thats too much of a 50-50 fight, i wouldnt want to be so exposed". And because all of those teams like to have possesion no metter what, a great Chelsea team with Jose could be the huge rival in any time. My point is, even if we cant get Superstar Pogba to get our squad to be "Fantasy XI" like those 3 (although Bayern needs changes, ageing squad), i believe Jose could bring us to that level with the right players in.

Why people bringing up Reus all the time? dont you think there's no rumors about him (with any club) for a reason? it looks like he signed his contract to stay at BVB. With Hummels and Gundogan on the way out, BVB wouldnt want to sell him and Reus obviously had to think about this situation before he signed that contract. He wont give his club a 'fight' to get a move. And about Koke, i want to believe we asked him if he even wants the move, that should be the first step..
