  1. Di marzio said nothing about Chelsea-Pogba. You probably mean Guillem Balague.
  2. Real with an offical announcement rejected the reports: http://www.realmadrid.com/en/news/2015/04/official-announcement Atletico also denies.
  3. To me it seems like Real wants Verratti rather than Pogba. Pogba is more on the same position as Isco/James. Verratti's role as the DLP, is more important for them as Modric is 30. Just my opinion... might be wrong.
  4. With Real you never know what they're planning to do, first of all both clubs will probably appeal so they can sign players this window, Real could still sell some players and buy others in one window, its nothing for them. My first thought was that Koke wouldn't leave Atletico, he wouldnt leave when they need him to stay, but than i remembered O.Torres is coming back... The ban could change a lot, but i dont think it means no one will leave. Hard to see Isco staying in Real for example. In other news, Di Marzio is talking about PSG and Barca's intrest in Pogba. PSG made "verbal offers" and Barca "working" despite the transfer ban to bring him in summer of 2016. I would be really annoyed if we wouldnt at least try get him.
  5. BREAKING: According to Cadena SER and Cadena COPE, Real Madrid and Atletico de Madrid will be transfer banned like Barcelona was.
  6. Its amazing that The Sun is taking seriously again and again by the same people, with random "rumors" they clearly made up. The thing that annoys me the most is that the main Israeli sport sites report about this with The Sun as the source.
  7. Since he's not a "creator", and not a player who'll contirbute in creating possession, i would take him only if we already have Pogba/Koke. I havent seen him enough in those areas on the pitch to say if he's a lot better on the ball than Schurlle or Cuadrado.
  8. Apperantly El Confidencial wrote about our interest in him, and they say the release clause is only 30m euros. http://www.elconfidencial.com/deportes/futbol/liga/2015-04-27/la-clausula-de-griezmann-o-el-atletico-la-sube-o-sera-una-de-las-gangas-del-verano_783020/ Translation: http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/topics/deal-at-22m-chelsea-close-on-spectacular-signing-cl Pogba and Griezmann would be my new dream. Question is if its possible and if we want it.
  9. You're not reading my posts properly. Im not saying we shouldnt get Pogba/Koke, im talking about it all the time here, im saying we need Pogba/Koke+backup for Matic. Right now when Matic cant play you need to play Mikel or Zouma, thats not good enough i believe. Idealy our midfield options imo should be: Cesc-Matic-Pogba/Koke (Ramires, DM, RLC) Willian-Hazard ( 2 of Oscar/Pedro/D.Costa/Cuadrado/Another AM. Or, if we bring Reus/Isco for RW than Willian as a squad option with Cuadrado/Oscar). 2 options from the bench for central midfield, 2 options for AM +RLC. You could might sell Ramires too, his role would be very small since (lest hope) we'll have Koke/Pogba.
  10. First of all, RLC isnt a DM as far as i know, more box to box, i cant see Mourinho giving him the role of Matic in any kind of game. And Im not sure Ake is that good for that role as well. IMO we need genuine quality in midfield for the bench as well as the first XI, thats one of our main problems in the squad imo. Mikel, Ramires, and probably Cuadrado cant play the kind of football we played in the first half of the season. I wouldnt go to the next season with Mikel as Matic's backup, and i cant think of a reason to think Ake will do a much better job. I would also like to find a cheap option, the question is if there is one.
  11. I dont think anyone here wants Imbula as the BIG signing for midfield. The talk is about him as Mikel's replacement.
  12. Serious pondering / or not: Now Pool are 7 points behind Man u, tommorow it could be 4 with the same number of games. There could be a situation that Liverpool needs to win at the Bridge so they could get 4th instead of United, probably wont happen cause they'll lose more points along the way, but could be. I think its obviuos its better for us that United will finish outside of top 4, with City they are our biggest threat, they could build a strong team to compete for the title for years to come unlike Liverpool and probably Arsenal's Wenger. Not having CL next season would mean it will be a bit harder to bring top players (although they've done it last summer), it would mean LVG is in a dangerous position and his system and plan is at stake, it would mean a serious faillure for the club. Not the best way to go to a new season as "title contenders". So the weird question is, if we won the league by then, would we be ok with letting Liverpool get that game if they really want it? for me its too hard, losing to them at home so close to the end of the season, it would be disgusting, but - probably the right strategic move in the long term?
  13. I saw him playing deep for Marseille this season, not to long ago. Few times he was even alone in midfield, in a bizzar formation of 3-3-3-1 when he's the only central midfielder, 3 central backs, 2 wing backs on his sides, and 4 attackers in front. They might still play this way. Example:
  14. 4 wins and a draw and we're on 90 points. Hope we can do that.
  15. The whole game today i thought Pogba could be so perfect for this side. Pogba+Pedro (as a second option for Wiliian) for me fight now.
  16. What penalty on Ramires? can someone tell me what happend?
  17. We are going to play on counter attacks, last week Drogba only destroyed our chances to counter, so i think it's reasonable to play with another AM if Remy and Costa cant play.
  18. If United wants to play this kind of football, they need to improve. Better players in attack with vision and skills, another DM to defend the counter attacks, better defending. Playing this way means you need to be almost perfect, Barcelona did it in a perfect way in 2008-2011, but they still got caught many times. United should really improve, the opponents will know their weaknesses.
  19. Non of this 5 articles mentioning Pogba, only Verratti. Though I dont know spanish so i didnt watch the videos in the first 2 articles. Im following transfer rumors for years, i simply dont think the Pogba-Real Madrid situation right now suggests he's off to Madrid. Havent seen even one serious report about it. In football shows on TV there's a lot of speculations, they can say stuff like "yeah i believe Real will go for Pogba". But if they have real information why non of those journalists wrote it down and reported it in their paper? i dont see much in it.
  20. Lots of assumptions in this post I think. Which Spanish sources said Real wants Verratti or Pogba? I know SPORT said its us and Barca who are the front runners, who's to say they are wrong and the source you mentioned is right? Both sources are not perfectly reliable, I think I can say that without even knowing which source you're referring to. It's too soon to say where Pogba is going to go. I agree that if Real are after him the chances of Chelsea or any other club are very slim.
  21. I havent seen any evidence about that, no serious reliable rumors.
  22. But Verratti is a very unrealistic option, only possibility is that PSG get Pogba AND Real wont go vor Vertatti, than we have a chance.
  23. Unless we are going to run with the title again, which for that to (maybe) happen next season we need to inject some more quality in the squad, i dont see a reason to wrtie United off. They are going to do 'some serious business', Gundogan, Depay, Hummels and Clyne sounds pretty serious to me. I wouldnt write off anyone from United, Arsenal and City right now, need to see what every team is doing in the summer. Arsenal are imo one DM away to be a seriously good side, although Wenger is still there so they probably wont win the title but they'll be a force. And CIty its the big question mark, if they're going to make a little overhaul they could be very strong. They have Aguero, Silva, Kompany, Zabaleta, Fernandinho. Some new quality players around those players and they're back to being a force. As champions, i feel we'll have to get stronger to stay better than everyone with the big gap we had this season. And i believe that could be the case with 2-4 new quality players and Mourinho as manager.
  24. When you control the ball you need less hard tackles, and if you press good enough its not even a problem. "hard tackle" is out of fashion.
