Nah, mate. Back then, almost all of us wanted him, since Torres was our main striker, with Drogba leaving and everything. It is not relevant.

Let's all take a minute and thank God that we never signed this guy. Sorry for bringing this topic back to life, but it had to be said.

I've been struggling in order to make my beard grow for like one year already and it's still messy as hell. I can't believe Brana got it so big and nice in just a few months. Hope it's fake. Still, I love that look of him.

FC Barcelona and Liverpool FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Luis Suárez.http://bit.ly/1s2jzHz Done.
-
Maybe now people can stop being delusional about David. He is a very special man, I really love the guy, he is the kind of man that makes football more human, more attractive, but we should stop being unrealistic. He is NOT a good freekick taker, he is an inconsistent defender and getting 50m pounds for him is a huge, huge success for Chelsea.

Barca's team surely looks great on paper, but I don't think that Luis Enrique can handle this situation. No worries. About Liverpool, I wouldn't be so harsh on them. Brendan Rodgers knows what he's doing, even if he doesn't have another world class player, but Suarez, who he won't have anymore, I suppose. But remember that he made Henderson play well, he bought them Coutinho, had the guts to use Sterling and came up with players like Joe Allen or Jon Flanagan. He's a good manager, they will still be fighting for the first places.

He's fast in FIFA. I like him

I don't understand what you're trying to say. It's not like Suarez is a completely different person when he plays for Uruguay. He's the same guy that bit two players in the past. It doesn't matter who juges him, FIFA or the FA, his past still matters.
-
Maybe it is a little harsh, but mind you, he was suspended and fined twice before, for the same reason, and he kept on doing the same mistake. Maybe this will teach him a lesson.
-
Can't see him wearing a Chelsea shirt anytime soon.
-
Exactly. It's even more frustrating when we think about how good our defenders are at scoring from set-pieces. Terry, Cahill, Ivanovic, all of them know how to do that. Besides that, with Lampard and Luiz gone, maybe someone with good freekicks will step up. Since Lamps got old and Mata left, no one took a decent freekick. Luiz wasted a lot during the 13/14 season. I thought Cesc was good at taking freekicks, but I was only able to find one on Youtube.
-
His corners are stunning.
-
Well, they should ask Chelsea to pay them a few millions in order to sell Ivanovic, since they're at it.
-
I think the next captain will be a defender aswell. Azpi, Cahill, Ivanovic, they all got what it takes, but Brana is, in my opinion, the best for this position. He's been here for 6 years already, he is combative, always determined and ready to sacrifice himself for the team (he even got bitten by an oponent, for Christ's sake ). If he leaves or gets benched, then Cahill and Azpi should be the alternatives. In this order.

Ok, I'm sorry. I didn't know.

Fuck. This still hurts.

Ok, I'm sorry, I got easily irritated. It's not about Courtois forgetting how to be a goalkeeper. It's about the choice that these people in our board have to make. On one side, you have Courtois, great prospect, proved to be huge for Atletico in Spain AND UCL. On the other side, you have Cech, Chelsea's finest in its history. He's not too old, he's not even getting worse. It's pretty clear that we can't have both of them, just like you said, so we have to choose one. It is a huge huge decision and I think there is a very tiny possibility (tiny, but still real) that Courtois would not adapt here and would need at least a season, like De Gea did. Imagine if he has a few bad games. Everyone would start asking 'why did they sell Cech?'. What I'm saying is that this is a win-win, but also a lose-lose situation for the club. Yes, you get to have one of the best GKs in the world, but at the same time you also get to lose one of them. And the future is unpredictable. I'm happy that I'm not the one to make this choice
-
What if suddenly you would stop being an arrogant prick?
-
What if we sell Petr and Courtois turns out to be a failure in the Premier League? It's a very very tough choice and I hope the men in charge will make the best decision.
-
He's too old to recover so quickly

"Hope he gets syphilis" So deluded...
