yeah that`s him. his role as Sil in The Sopranos was his first acting job.before then he was famous for being Springsteen`s "wingman" in the E street band.

can`t wait to get stuck into Tottenham in the upcoming season..with or without Modric..aslong as AVB uses his highline on us keep dinking passes over them into space and watch Ramires leave them in the dust.

i saw the Chillies in Brixton in about `89 on the blood sugar sex magic tour. or whatever it was called..good live band..or atleast they were then..

Quality article as usual Alex. especially the trip down memory lane..even if we don`t share the same opinion on whatever topic. it`s so much better than reading half hearted remarks with nothing offered to back up the opinion shared. It`s not ludicrous to keep Malouda but with Hazard and Marin i presume the 1-2 at LW/LM and others capable of playing there . where does he fit in? i`ve never been a boo bird atleast not against our own. i`ve called Klinsmann a diving nazi cunt (i know not all germans were Nazi`s but when he`s dived for a pen or whatever against us,ya know..we do come from cavemen) but not our own players..never even called Darren Wood "Sharon" when many used to. but i am a bit mean to Flo mo online i guess. most of that has been from the club supposedly wanting to sell him and his seemingly unwillingness to be sold which appeared to be over salary. also i don`t think we should keep a player for his experience when his talent has waned to a level where he`s third choice at best.the same i think about Ferreira. because although there`s young players at those positions they are experienced enough. both Marin and Hazard have enough experience..if we was talking CB then yeah the safety valve of a veteran would come in handy but not so much for the LW/LM position. i believe even with Malouda and Ferreira gone we would still have ample experience where it matters. if Malouda could play multiple positions and perform decently there then great he`d be worth keeping but not just as third choice LW/LM. having said all that..it`s not in our control so all we can do is hope whatever is the best for Cfc happens. and cheer the team on from the stands .

as i said earlier in the thread. if he had to go on loan it`s probably the best possible place for him. he should be able to get in the team but they are still a competitive team in a good competitve league. if he had gone to a lower level EPL team that`s fighting to stay up he may not have been used right if atall down the stretch. i feel good about this loan. good luck KDB

you must have Jedi powers too Hutcho... will Modric ever leave the slums of Tottenham...hope he doesn`t end up at Man U. now that would make more sense than Lucas going there.
-
Witsel i think would make more sense for Madrid. even tho i think Modric is a better player. if that makes sense..

welcome aboard Luci. Super Dan my favorite Chelsea RB of all time. and i`ve seen quite a few over the last 30 years. i miss him not being our RB but love Branislav so it`s not as bad as it used to be.

Do we need a back-up Goal Keeper?
Duppy Conqueror replied to Ryan Fong's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
i think if i was a veteran goalkeeper who had played my share of career games then i`d be interested in coming to be Cech`s number 2. i`d think along the lines of one injury or suspension and i could play in the European Cup final,Fa Cup final etc.. there are lots of good goalkeepers in Germany at clubs who aren`t able to compete with Dortmund and Bayern.the whole country is like one big factory for good goalkeepers. that would be my first place to look for one. i voted yes in the poll by the way if you hadn`t guessed.. give Turnbull`s place to Walker/Blackmon filling the homegrown place vacated by turnbull. then sign a new experienced goalkeeper to replace Hilario. -
I`ll go for Pizy. fits the criteria i had laid out earlier in this thread. and i think the members who haven`t got thousands and thousands of posts could do with a lil encouragement to post some more when they are members who have some good points to make.

i spend about 70% of my time on the internet in here tho. especially in the summer.

i`m on the Clanram forum. have been for 6 years. it`s an American football based site for fans of the St.Louis Rams (formerly L.A. Rams). i think i got the most rep points of anyone outside the U.S. on there..most of the U.S fans of the sport don`t tend to respect the opinions of "outsiders" i have discovered. and a few health related ones including one that i created 9 years ago. but had to close that one and when we started back up at another place i took a back seat and let others run the show now. it`s hard to moderate sites when everyone has brain disorders and you`ve got one yourself. it seems universal on the internet that people who aren`t moderators take mods and admin for granted and forget they are human beings just like everyone else.

a cheeky bid that didn`t pay off. hope we come back with a more realistic offer . OM are obviously desperate for money but for them it`s best to have a poker face about it. i suspect if we come in with an offer of £8m, take it or leave it...they would fold.

Chelsea's youngsters futures under RDM
Duppy Conqueror replied to Stats's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
I don`t think Oscar and Hazard are taking the places of players better than them.so no problem with those kind of signings. i think it`s when we keep players like Malouda,Kalou,Ferreira etc around that we are doing wrong by our youngsters. i have no problem making signings that are gonna stunt the growth of some of our youth players ,not all of them are gonna make it anyway, but we should only do that by buying/keeping and playing better players ahead of them..we have more than enough experience in our squad without the likes of those players who are getting on the bench when we could be blooding in our youngsters instead. -
cheers Mr Vogel. i`m gonna have to get tactical when i cast my vote if this continues.

'@Hutcho_CFC... Major Allen did say "if it was up to me i`d give you the Victoria cross but they are supposed to be our allies now, so i have to deduct points." the regiments mine were up against were a cut above my own.had to go in competition with the Paras,Grenadier Guards,Duke of Edinburgh`s etc... i was just a private in the RLC at the time and the only one in my regiment who had got in the final. wanting to do my regiment proud i went on the bold offensive and it went a bit wrong..
-
@James @Hutco_CFC @DDA thanks guys. i`m honoured just to get a mention in such great company, made my day.. my proudest moment in a competition before now was 4th in a marksmen tournament in the army (i fooked up in the 12 man final, i shot more targets than anyone else but shot 9 U.S marines by mistake .. they were only targets tho,not real marines..)
-
and there he scores..
-
just remembered about the Brazil game after watching the Womens Cycling. as for Oscar he has already said he will play wherever RDM wants him to play. he`s a real team player. his best position i think personally is no position. it`s the one he plays best..when drifting all around the field and being wherever he is needed. he`s too smart a player to try and fit him into one box. he is as fluid as water. he will need a little time to settle into life in the Prem but don`t worry about his slight build. he has a good frame to bulk out in the future but he doesn`t need to. he doesn`t ponder on the ball so will not need to be built like Essien to hold tacklers off. he drifts around too much to attempt to man mark with any success. they would need to man mark him 2-1 and then the rest of our team will tear the opposition apart. teams used to dread playing us because of our brute force..now they will dread to play us for our movement and creativity.

Post Oscar: who to come?who to go?
Duppy Conqueror replied to Duppy Conqueror's topic in Transfer Archives
wouldn`t be the best for team chemistry to have both either. after Tiote elbowed Mikel only for Mikel after getting some minor repair to return to the pitch and get his revenge by smashing him spark out. not many better sights in life than for a lil thug to get knocked the fuck out after starting shit there was no need for. the thing is tho he`s like the African Vinny Jones, take out the thug and there`s not much there atall. -
what about our new signings do they not count in this? Oscar and Hazard would be the top 2 then.

Robin van Persie joins Manchester United
Duppy Conqueror replied to NiclasCFC's topic in Football Chat
our medical staff have improved in recent years it seems..Eva.. an Arsenal medic could have saved JT`s life a few years back when he got knocked out at Wembley ..not sure if it`s the same team of medics there tho. Van Persie`s age i wouldn`t have a problem with 28 aint that old. would give us 4 good years depending on how healthy in the long term sense he is.he`s had some wear and tear over the years. if he checks out o.k. he`d be worth a £20m bid. i`d prefer someone like Lewandowski due to him being the ideal age to play now but still 10 years service ahead. but RVP would be a good alternative for the here and now and the next few years.
