  1. I just remember when I last mentioned it, it was to you haha
  2. Oops - Corrected Agree with the rest of your post too there FB!
  3. Many will remember (particularly Madmax) I always blamed the size of the squad for the failures, back in November. I actually think with a bigger, more dynamic squad, Carlo can bring success back to us. However that, of course, involves him getting more say in transfers. We don't actually know if he's involved or not, Wilkins said he'd wanted Torres since last summer, so who knows. But I do think Carlo, with a larger squad, can achieve success.
  4. The title's somewhat misleading about the actual content of the article. I solely believe though, this has all been over-analysed. Media fails to understand the importance of confidence in a footballer, try playing a competitive game when you know things aren't going well and people are criticising you left, right and centre. Torres is showing his sharp instincts, deft touch and immense finishing ability. Slowly, but surely, Carlo is bringing him out of his shell, his disallowed goal on Saturday demonstrated this very well. Like the commentator (on my replay) said, if it hadn't been ruled offside, everyone would be complimenting the quick touch & finish. Let's not forget the superb volley he struck into the top corner from the D during the United first leg - Ruled out because of a little push in the penalty area, which replays show was on our own player! In recent days and weeks we've seen Torres smile more and more when he's coming on and playing for us. His body language is shifting to a more positive outlook. When he scores that first goal we'll celebrate more than we did for Ramires! On a separate note, I find it highly ironic that United fans can criticise us when Berbatov's debut season went along similar lines to this..
  5. Welcome Now find Lukaku and tell him to sign with us
  6. LMAO I thought it was a Chicken. ..stupid Yids.
  7. A great story published by the Daily Mail tells of how John Terry has saved his childhood club Senrab with an undisclosed donation which should keep the sunday-league outfit alive for a good few years! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1378695/England-Chelsea-captain-John-Terrys-cash-donation-saves-childhood-club-Senrab.html?ITO=1490
  8. He lies! The real admins are myself, Terminator X, Styles & Kostas  We just gave them pretty badges to make themselves feel special
  9. I agree with what you're saying especially in terms of Malouda and Essien. However Drogba's illness was more, long-term and affected his overall health. Malaria would have taken its toll on his body and mind, usually presented as a normal flu, it would've been hard for him to even get out of bed let alone train. That is a huge credit to him. However there is no use in playing him if he's clearly exhausted and not in right frame of mind. Every fan here would've understood if Drogba had been left out because of the malaria, however most would not understand him playing despite it. Hindsight is a good thing, mind you. If he'd have still scored goals we may have ignored this. But did Carlo make a mistake here?
  10. Hahaha I gotta admit, this was quite funny by the Voyer!
  11. Sounds like a good plan. Though I'd rather have Di Matteo as an assistant instead. Zola hasn't demonstrated much management skills required yet. Whoever's the assistant should be groomed to take over one day. Brendan Rogers?
  12. Am I the only one thinking, he shouldn't have been playing at all during this period? We had 3 strikers at this point; Anelka, Kalou & Sturridge. Was Drogba that convincing or what Carlo that naive? What do you guys think?
  13. Alex & Ramires still out. Ivanovic is doubtful.
  14. One thing, or man, that ruined football.. The one and only, Rupert Murdoch. He is the sole reason why football is in a financial bubble which is very close to bursting. I'm looking forward to it. When this ridiculous amount of money leaves our true love for the game.
  15. Marco van Basten seems to be the media's choice of Carlo's replacement (if indeed he is to be fired) thoughts?
  16. All too true my friend! But money can buy corruption. These big star footballers who have super injunctions (and there are many more!) must pay other fees than lawyer ones. To be honest I don't mind, this stuff isn't exactly "news". The more it stays out of our media, the happier I am.
  17. New compilation http://forum.talkchelsea.net/videos/view-125-ramires-201011-the-blue-kenyan/
  18. My theory is, the sub keeper should be someone from the youth system. Begovic is a great keeper who's finally found a #1 position at Stoke so I'd hate for us to relegate him to a regular position on your subs bench. Our reserve goal keeper is Jan Sebek, so let's make him the back up. That way he gets regular action with the reserves and we can call up on him, if needed.
  19. Personally I don't like the 2 stars beside them, they look out of place. Otherwise not bad, will never happen though, our badge is fixed now.
  20. Well during the El Classico on Saturday they actually made quite a few references to it, but you're right. Because there's a love-affair with Barcelona in Spain right now he's not getting as much backlash as he would otherwise. Especially when goals are still coming from Messi & co.
  21. Roman Abramovich's money Nah - if I'm honest, it was the colour blue LOL! All my mates were either United or Arsenal, so I asked one of my friends give me a team in blue and they said Chelsea! Didn't really start supporting properly till 2000 though.
  22. Yeah, just in case there's that one twat who decides TC promoted that.. But if Admins say it's okay then..
