  1. I'd recommend TC pre-fixes on thread titles for 'Wishlist' 'Linked' & 'Official Approach'
  2. Perception varies from person-to-person. He's probably using it to fire up the Benfica players, to make them seek retribution for it, Mou would do the same, no? -- Anyway on another topic, here's an article about Chelsea's enormous price hike for the return leg: http://www.footballscores.com/superblog/chelsea-fans-get-the-blues-over-champions-league-ticket-prices/
  3. Luiz did attempt to clear it up. Like I said before, can't blame any ill feelings. CFC is at fault, if anything. I wonder who our PR officer is, he needs a telling off
  4. "Any responses we'll be giving to Drogba will be on the field and proving we are better than him." - Jorge Jesus http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/7628886/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  5. "Against Tottenham, we didn't really do enough to lift the fans. We had the high of Napoli, then we got beaten by Manchester City and now we need to up it again." - Hit the nail on the head.
  6. We can definitely win this. Europe's the only thing going right for us this season, come on you blues!!
  7. True, true. Though it's also the fact they cite The Sun as a source that also makes me very sceptical
  8. Liverpool are vulnerable, Arsenal are still beatable.. The players won't forget 5-3 any time soon. 8. I understand the pessimism, I do, but the motto of this club has always been 'ktf'.
  9. They couldn't have. That's basic tapping up, if it were true we'd have been investigated and fined. Like when we did this with Cole.
  10. Premier League & FA did nothing to help us. Italian FA helped Napoli, Portuguese league helped Benfica but no, not ours. I bet they would've helped Red Nose.
  11. LMAO what a baseless, fact-less article. How on earth do people get paid for doing this?!
  12. Yep. Let's face it, we're not getting a complete over all. Perhaps we should sacrifice the whole 'attacking philosophy' for a while and go with a strictly defensive coach who'll get results, get us fighting for the title & gradually bring in more creative and talented players, then try the whole 'attacking' thing.
  13. Indeed. Surround him with more creative players and Mata will begin to find a whole new level in his game, unseen to us so far!
  14. This should have happened immediately. Gotta love hindsight, I suppose. Anyway, absolutely not. PL club or no loan.
  15. Kid needs to stop giving interviews, media are loving this trying to turn him against us routine
  16. Wow, some names I haven't seen in a long while there! Huth might've been there in CB
  17. Exactly. It's things like this that make me so sceptical that Platini will kick out clubs like Real and co. He'd have no problem throwing us out or any English club for that matter.
  18. This is a problem with not keeping Sturrige on the right. No-one else can play there except Sturridge. We might criticize his decisions not to pass, but Ramires can not pass at all. At least when Danny does fire in a cross it's got power and hopeful. If he's making a selfish run it's going to either get him a goal, or close to one. Ramires has the pace to play there but not the end-result.
  19. I'm not surprised at all. BadBoy predicted right when he said we're going to repress Mata's creativity. We simply rely on him too much to 'make something happen', and that's taking a toll on him. André had it right in rotating the boy when he did, despite people feeling animosity towards that decision. I think he should've been brought off today for Benfica. I hope he's not going to suffer a burn-out before then.
  20. He looked for the pass too much today, ironically.
  21. I'll be the first to admit, Gary Cahill has exceeded my expectations. Wasn't the biggest fan of his signing so far, but he's gone about his work cleanly and quietly. Indeed if he does keep this up he'll have a case to be starting more games, with Luiz, ahead of Terry. I don't want to get too carried away. The true test of his ability comes in adversity, that's when you see how players truly step up. So while I still contest what we've paid, he is proving to be a very good player. I hope he maintains he's style of play, his discipline and most importantly, his partnership and understanding with Luiz & Terry.
