  1. Maybe she's responsible for the Marin transfer
  2. Just like Mata, this has come out of nowhere. Seems Chelsea are becoming good at the under-the-wraps transfers, hopefully it's a lessons arrived from the Modric saga. It makes it sweeter to know Tottenham wanted him too, it really is Mata mk II. Anyway not gonna pretend to know a whole lot about him by watching endless fan videos on YouTube. But he's young, he's a winger and the reported fee of €7m + Lukaku loan seems a very good deal. Especially because Bremen need a striker since Pizzaro will be leaving them this summer.
  3. Great. I have work in in tottenham court road today with this lunatic holding hostages.
  4. It's a long, long, story of media misprints, finger pointing and ill-timed judgements. Basically it was because the Sun printed this.. ..make of it what you will. Also they're annoyed at the lack of inquiry and investigation that surrounds the incident. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hillsborough_disaster#Controversies
  5. Making a fool of himself right now. First Tevez and now Mario. This is a message that players can do whatever they please knowing any punishment, regardless of severity, is temporary.
  6. That's not strictly true though. I've watched all these bookings again, Meireles did take a chunk of Masch. He knew it straight away, took one for the team though.
  7. Really?! Ah that's good then! Alex deserves him for that thumping FK v. Liverpool in that 4-4 and Anelka for his services to the club over the last few seasons
  8. Yeah but it was changed a lot from the original book. The book came under heavy scrutiny because it portrayed such a negative imagine of Clough, his entire family and friends didn't appreciate what was said because it was quite far from the truth. Thankfully when the movie was being made, the director personally sought out input from his wife to make sure they could improve it from the book.
  9. Yeah it was a moment of madness but you also have to remember how well he's done prior to that. He martialled our defence in the first leg, in the Benfica legs and especially in Naples. His leadership in the back never goes amiss when he's on the field and there have been many times this season where he's put himself on the line to ensure we work as hard as we can. Albeit he's undone a lot of that praise in this moment of madness which could be compared to Zidane's reckless headbutt in that final. But let's be grateful it didn't have the impact we feared it would've. No-one will know more than him how badly he's fucked up, so I believe he should lift the trophy with Frank and Didier. The three of them deserve to for their impact over this season.
  10. Battle of the strikers, Falcao v. Llorente! I think Madrid will win it because of their attacking power, Diego, Turan, Adrian, Falcao. They do have an exploitable defence though, even with Courtois between the posts. Bilbao have a better structure though, so they will of course be more disciplined. They also have home advantage because Real Madrid decided to get spiteful and refused to allow the final to be played the Bernabau. So now it's to be played at Athletic's home ground.
  11. The family and the fact.. We played Malouda ahead of this guy. NOT ONLY THAT but then when we did play him, we stuck him in MIDFIELD instead of the wing, where he belonged. We basically fucked with his career far too much.
  12. Now that Guardiola is gone from Barca it will be interesting to see if Neymar does end up there. The one thing Guardiola had at the Catalan club was the utmost respect from everyone. From the president to the players, everyone went by Pep's word. Now there'll be a new manager, who will still get respect as coach, but he won't get the same level as Pep. Considering Neymar's ego, and how the spotlight is on Messi (always), it will be interesting to see how they handle Neymar's ego when the spotlight is not on him. I wonder if Neymar will even do his part off the ball, which is a big part of the Barca philosophy. Off-the-ball work, rotating your position, intricate passing etc.
  13. LMAO knowing them, they would probably ask UEFA for special treatment because they have a CL winning coach and Dalglish LMAO. Fools.
  14. Ramires v. Barca. The audacity and skill to attempt and bury it, Messi-esq.
  15. 1. Bad eggs. 2. Late kick off = Heavy drinking prior = Stupid decisions. In any case they certainly don't represent the majority of fans' class and respect for the '96, I assure you!
  16. So has RAWK started a 'Guardiola to Liverpool' thread yet?
  17. I like what Rangers have done, but what the fudge have City done to their emblem?!
  18. I really wished Luiz & Cahill were fit for Saturday. The Terry-handshake thing is going to be such a shadowing issue, urgh. At least it'll be at Stamford Bridge & the QPR players will get demolished anyway.
