  1. Are my eyes deceiving me or is BadBoy back?!
  2. I'm sure a lot of our loanees feel that way. Especially the guys we sent to Vitesse or Hamburg (Bruma). It's only natural. If they're not in England they will feel that there's lack of interest to travel and watch them. But at the same time, he could be jumping the gun, just because he hasn't had many conversations and seen many scouts, doesn't mean they're not paying attention. He must be patient as hard as it seems.
  3. The only thing that worries me about losing Courtois is, what does happen when Cech begins to decline? No Butland, no Courtois.. Ross Turnbull
  4. I love how that mask has been branded "29 Ba"
  5. Song is a liability. He would've left us in a worse defensive state than we currently are. I've never rated Song. Yes, he was very important in Van Persie's goals at Arsenal but in doing that he left Arsenal so vulnerable at the back. Arsenal fans choose to forget that because of his 'partnership' with RvP
  6. Is this club bowing to fan pressure? I highly doubt it. Are they saving face in the media? Don't think so. So what's the reasoning? I honestly haven't an idea. I see the rationale behind it, his goal scoring form has been very impressive this season, but has that been the sole reason for this? There's a lot of questions to this apparent "u-turn", but I'll wait to see confirmation before I begin to understand that. So far it seems just hearsay.
  7. In his prime, perhaps one of the most classy defenders England ever produced. Like has been said before, he was technically the best, but his work rate more than made up for it. He was the idea British football's defender. He and John Terry would've made a fabulous pairing for England if they had their primes at the same time!
  8. And no, I'm not trolling. I know he didn't work out for Manchester City, but I honestly think he could've been a real asset for us, especially that season!
  9. I agree and disagree. I agree that one day he will move, but I think that's only based on once he wins everything he can with Dortmund. It's then natural he would go on to explore another league. But that's much into the future, what I was referring to was when Dortmund had literally just won the league.. Those comments were hilarious Dortmund have made habit of selling at least one start per summer. Sahin & Kagawa have gone (though the former since returned) and this summer it's probably Lewandowski's turn. But Dortmund are still a club with massive potential, it's an incentive for any young player. I don't agree about your comments about the Bundesliga. Not only is it the fastest rising league around right now, but it's also attracting more viewership than ever. Certainly it's popularity will grow when Guardiola goes to Bayern. Speaking of, their impressive record of 2 consecutive CL finals in as many years is something they can be very proud of. It might not be something Murdoch's empire is giving coverage to now, but it's only a matter of time until it does.
  10. LMAO! I don't know how true this is (it did come from FourFourTom, a troll); but apparently the GK was supposed to concede 3, but Liverpool only managed to have 2 shots on target!
  11. Liverpool were heavily linked with him not too long ago. I don't know how likely this is, isn't he pretty well settled at Athletico?
  12. I remember at the end of last season when Dortmund won their league and someone suggested we raid them for Gotze, Lewandowski, Kagawa, Hummels etc. It's quite an ignorant way of looking at things to be honest. Dortmund have built themselves a great team and are a top team which should be respected. Saying we should go for an important player like Reus is the equivalent to saying 'let's take Toni Kroos from Bayern.' It's not going to happen because Bayern are a top team and Kroos is very important to them. Reus is a great player with a massive future ahead of him. But we're be blind to think Dortmund would even entertain offers.
  13. There used to be a thread, but most of them got archived
  14. As much as it would be somewhat a sense of justice to know it could've been that Barcelona game, I don't think it was. So all I can hope is that we're not involved, period.
  15. "Has he been sacked yet?" I asked with no hope
  16. I was kidding Steve. OCD got the better of me
  17. Lmao! on a side note; I'm glad Clarke didn't try to defend him!
  18. We simply don't have the squad depth and it's really worrying. We're leaking goals far too easily and it's evident that there's no cohesion in midfield because it's so unbalanced, with a lack of central & defensive midfield cover. Sigh. It's going to be one of "those" season..
  19. I don't think he meant to properly spit at Walker, but there was intent. It's a logical red, especially as Clattenberg was looking right at them.
