I remember them finishing above Chelsea! People used to take the piss because i was a Chelsea fan when i was younger and everyone else supported Ipswich, just because Chelsea werent great. Always stuck by 'em though, and look at us now

It shouldnt matter what country you're from to join this forum, i think there are some great non-english members in this forum, i.e. Aria, Manuf (although he doesnt like Kalou particularly haha), MadMax etc. (if i havent mentioned you, sorry!) And they contribute well to group discussion, and to the forum in general We all share the same nationality in here, Chelsea runs through our veins KTBFFH

Big Drogs got it for me. You always hear that Lamps, JT, Drogba and Cech are like the main 'leaders' at Chelsea, in terms of their communication with Roman and Carlo. But i think it'll go to Drogba, i personally dont like GK captains anyway

Agreed. Some of us like him, some of us particularly dont but i dont really feel theres need to have such an arguement over one player. The most important thing is that Chelsea are winning, and i dont care if people slate Kalou one week and then he scores a hat-trick, or people praise him and he has a bad game; it works both ways. I'm a great supporter of Kalou, but i just feel that theres no need for a full blown arguement about him ffs. I've also agreed in the past that people rip into him and then he'll do something spectacular the week later, but again, most important thing, Chelsea winning. Its nice to see a player proving us wrong. I did it in the summer before last season, i wanted Chelsea to sell malouda, because in my opinion, he was playing like a pile of crap. He was, but look at him now

These are the sorts of players i hope to be regulars for Chelsea in a few years time. Kalou Sturridge Kakuta I was trying to be realistic btw, its obvious experienced players like Alex or Ivanovic would still be present in the team, and Kalou would probably play, if not Anelka/Malouda for that matter.

Love it. The praise of John Terry, is great. He just continues the point that we all love him, dont give a fuck whats hes done off the pitch or petty fans booing him for the sake of booing him, he's our captain and a Chelsea god. And also nice to see him give praise to Ray wilkins, you do get the feeling that Ray is a big help to Ancelotti, in understanding what sort of club Chelsea, and also the obvious of helping him with the language barrier. Drogba was stunning, Anelka with two good finishes, Malouda great goal at the start, Kalou did the business after coming on as a sub, and a nice introductory goal for Benayoun. Dunno what else we could have asked for
