Carragher also supported Everton as a boy.. Doesnt bother me that Essien wanted to play for Man U, he's a fantastic talent and he wanted to play for a top club in the premier league, and they are, as much as we hate to say or think it, one of the top clubs in the premier league. Because Ferguson is an idiot, he ended up at a better club, so doesnt matter does it.

I dont even deem this paper worthy of me wiping my arse with it. Its got enough shit on it already. Utter bollocks, "Why we hate Chelsea, and dont make any intention on being subtle" will be the next story in there. Pathetic views, pathetic journalists, pathetic paper..

Out of the Carling Cup - one less distraction?
BomTrett replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Agreed. I was a bit disappointed we got a team like Newcastle, because i knew they'd be a tough opposition and it was a big test for our youngsters. (even though they beat Liverpool) I would have liked Chelsea to have played a team like Northampton, because then the youngsters would really have a chance to play, and progress for at least a couple more rounds. On the flip side of this, last nights performance was very impressive, when looking at youngsters. There were times when inexperience showed, i.e. Bruma's silly challenge to give away a free kick (and the 2nd goal) and also Van Aanholt looking a bit lazy when it came to Nile Rangers goal. But there were also times when they showed real strength and willing, knowing that a good performance pushes them towards 1st team opportunities, in the PL for instance. Josh McEachran was really a star when he came on, and despite only being 17, he looks very comfortable on the ball, and we get a complete sense he knows exactly what he's doing, and that he's a confident young lad. Also Van Aanholts goal, and his assist for the 3rd goals were real signs of strength. Hopefully, although we take the FA cup more seriously, we'll get a nice couple of draws for the first couple of rounds, that allow Carlo to incorporate these youth players into the team once again, so they can showcase their ability once more. One thing i would change though... Hilario in for Turnbull.. He cant be blamed for everything, but it just reinforces the original point when we signed him; Why the hell have we signed Middlesborough's number 2 goalkeeper.. I dont particularly know how well Walker or Delac would cope in this sort of competition, but what is the point of having Ross Turnbull as our 2nd/3rd goalkeeper, when we could just as easily have a young player, who may also make mistakes, but would be at an age when they are still learning and perfecting their game. I'd sell Turnbull in January to be perfectly honest, and i'm sure theres a Championship club who'd be happy to have him. -
Just saw that Ferreira chance again. My word what a stunning goal that would have been, he fucking rattled it! Such a shame it didnt go in!!!
-
I just died inside. What the hell is this game!
-
I'm just shocked and unbelievably happy haha :S Could we honestly win this? Ferreira just had a HELL of a chance.
-
Interestinggggggggg McEacran equaliser???? I would scream with love for the boy haha
-
Its just gone from bad to worse, to even worse, to a total nightmare into now, a complete nightmare... I hope the injuries to Yossi and kalou aren't big injuries :S
-
Unbelievable.... Against fucking newcastle..
-
It has to be recognised. It would be easy to say Turnbull is so shit, but it wasnt particularly his fault. Signs of inexperience from Van Aanholt, but we'll move on from it, and he'll learn from it. Come on Chelsea!
-
I AM SO HAPPY. VAN AANHOLT"!!!!
-
Hahah i wasnt too far off tonights lineup!!! Only Kalou for Anelka, which i dont fully understand, just because surely we'd want Anelka for Saturday? I dont like quoting my own posts but i nearly got it right so

Reminds a bit of the mirror article in the same vein. Except the mirror article had to include a lil dig at Chelsea, talking about Drogba's diving, and us 'falsifying a big night atmosphere with plastic flags under the chairs' Nice to see Chelsea being respected in the media for once, rather than slated, despite being the best team in the country
-
He's one of those players though, very good in the championship, perhaps (at the moment at least) not quite good enough for the premier league. We could think of a list of players between us with these sorts of players, for instance, Sylvain Ebanks-Blake, who tore apart teams in the Championship, but has scored about 4 goals in 2 PL seasons haha. And also Jermaine Beckford isn't quite looking up to scratch with Everton. Happy to see Scott doing well though Brendan Rodgers taking a few ex chelsea players on board at swansea, including Makalamby haha, who started in the cup game tonight
-
Raped by Andy Carroll haha? Maybe not, but with Carlo announcing they'll both start against Newcastle, we can see how they'll cope. Big big game for Turnbull, lets hope he stays calm and puts in in a good performance.

Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce has insisted claims he made about being more suited to managing top European clubs were "tongue in cheek". Allardyce, 55, said that winning titles for clubs such as Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Manchester United or Chelsea "wouldn't be a problem for me". But he has now stated that, although ambitious, he was happy at Ewood Park and his remarks were not serious. "I didn't think it would create quite as big a stir as it has," he commented. "Somebody asked me if I had found my level and was comfortable as manager at Blackburn Rovers. "I'm never comfortable as a manager because I am always looking to improve, and my terms of wanting to improve is about having a burning ambition to always get better than I am. "Obviously, in the end, that would always be to try and get to the very, very top of the industry that I am working in." Realising what a twat he sounded in the first place, he's taken then back a lil bit haha. What a complete and utter knobhead

Hope McEachran also makes an appearance in this game Also says on the Chelsea website that JT will play at least 45 mins Possible lineup? Turnbull Ferriera Bruma Terry/Alex Van Aanholt Benayoun Ramires Zhirkov Kakuta Sturridge Kalou I only say Zhirkov because i assume Carlo wouldnt want to risk Mikel for Saturday?
-
I accidently pressed no, but i guess if we were absolutely desperate he could. I wouldn't choose to play him there though
-
I loved the Bosingwa and Ferreira bit haha Class video, love seeing the Chelsea boys pissing about

I can feel the rage building inside me.... haha BUT IS HE HAVING A LAUGH. I hope Ancelotti prints out this story, shows players before the Arsenal games, and tells someone to give him a little kick. Alex, Essien, Drogba, Ivanovic, Terry... I'm not fussy tbh. But if he honestly believes that arsenal are better than us, while they parade around with their bunch of four year olds, and cant even beat Sunderland, he's having a laugh.
-
Good news considering the rumour was he'd broken his back.
-
Hahah I'll do my best. Tbh, i'd prefer to stay clear of Newspapers tbh, i'd rather go into magazine writing or something more along those lines. Magazines usually provide more information and fact about various clubs and players rather than biased tabloids. I just dont get how such biased journalists are given the freedom to write/slander a club they dont like, and not even be subtle about the fact they support someone else.

I'm going to uni next week, to start a Sports Journalism course. I mean, i havent even started learning or anything but i can tell this is utter horseshit. Such a ridiculous story, part of the constant hatred directed towards Chelsea. Just because we didnt win the league 18 times, or the champions league 5 times, we are seen as some as scum to these stupid Journalists, who mostly support teams like West Ham or Man united AND liverpool, and there bias/general hate of Chelsea is printed in crappy papers such as Daily Star, Sun/N.O.T.W, Mirror etc. Over opinionated scouse, who's jealousy of Chelsea's dominance in comparison to the heap of dog shit that is Liverpool Football Club, allows him to deliver a cheap shot at Chelsea in general (note the flag comment) Smug wanker... Sorry to rant, i try not to make it a common occurance but sometimes i get a lil bit ticked off :S
-
Interesting point, but a new contract works the other way too, players know that there is no speculation about there managers future, they know exactly where he is; staying put, and realise that they have Carlo for another 4 years to work with, and continue the successful run
-
Haha good name! Welcome
