  1. Might be wishful thinking but if he comes back fitter and able to play a decent number of games, keeping him makes a lot of sense. However, giving him a 3 year contract now is a huge risk if this long layoff hasn't solved his problems.
  2. Not surprising. They might come to their senses as the atmosphere at games deteriorates even further. It's going to be a bumpy rest of the season. On Potter. What a clueless non-entity. Just some guy who won the lottery.
  3. More scary than losing to bottom of the league Southampton at home is the real possibility this won't be the end of Potter.
  4. Fantastic player. When he feels like it. I don't see him as a leader though. Time will tell I guess.
  5. Potter is sucking the life out of Chelsea right now.
  6. He just hasn't stepped up mentality-wise. I bet he genuinely doesn't feel today's result is a big deal. Away from home, mid-table clash, 1-1. "I'll take that" he thinks. I hope the board get rid of him now but I fear they will keep him for at least the rest of the season; a mixture of arrogance and delusion.
  7. Offside but yeah he's got to go. It's sad but with the new players this team aren't as bad as this.
  8. Gallagher is not good enough. Mount isn't really good enough either. I really don't see anything in Hall. Poor quality match overall but I liked the glimpse of Mudryk's ability! I wish they'd tried to get it to him more rather than always pushing the ball out towards Ziyech for him to do his so-called party piece. Looking forward to seeing more of what Mudryk can do.
  9. Mount's awareness and vision is truly pitiful
  10. Decent try by Silva! That's called a shot on goal, attackers!
  11. Would this lot not turn their noses up at Bielsa? He hasn't really won anything of note after all. I really wouldn't like Poch here. The 3rd in a 2 horse race guy, and the 2nd in a 1 team league guy. Would not be optimistic at all with him in charge. What about the Germany coach? Didn't do great at the World Cup but did well with Bayern which means he could probably command the respect of these players. It's slim pickings right now I fear.
  12. Yeah, I don't claim he's elite. I can't crap on him though after that CL win. The other thing is, when he came in after Kepa it was like a breath of fresh air. Kepa is beyond shit.
  13. Yup, it is poor. Kovavic and Jorginho in particular are football Kryptonite. I think the attitude of the players is a big problem as well though. Far too often they lumber around looking like they're moving in treacle, playing at 50% effort. Very little basic professional pride among them I'm afraid.
