Got excited when I saw this thread bumped but sadly nothing, I really think he would explode in a better team than Atletico.

Well lets be honest, who doesn't want him badly? Every top club in Europe will want him. Ok, Pep may not, but lets be real, he is the type of guy that plays his leading goal scorer as a DM in a CL final. 
As for our interest in him, no way was he ever signing during the Euro's. If the club some how pull him off (I give us a max 25% chance) the club will want it done during a 'down' week so to have a mega social media w*nkfest over it.

I would've loved Hakimi. I have seen quite a lot of him and have always been super impressed with him. I did think we would get it done (I didn't have any proof, just a gut instinct) but if it isn't to be it isn't to be. 
Furthermore, I haven't seen this Liva kid everyone is going on about. If he is as good as everyone says, then maybe it is a good job we didn't go for Hakimi (I cannot say as I have not seen him.)

Well, if true, they were probably saying they wanted Alonso on loan whilst we pay his wages and Ziyech on loan with 50% wages and a €5m buy out. Feck selling players to Italian clubs. Only one that you get reasonable money out of is Juve (but you usually have to be a Spanish club) or maybe Roma if their American owner decides to back Jose. After all Jose loves Zouma.
Troare is a big no, no for me. Apart from his baby oiled arms and legs, I don't see anything impressive. 
SMS is your boy if you want that. However, he may struggle with mobility and stamina in the PL. 

Dream signings would be Haaland and Tchouameni plus integrate Guehi and Livramento and we are good to go imo.

I find it funny when so many (not even saying I disagree) are so quickly ready to label someone 'Agent blah blah' (Rudiger with the other Germans for instance) when they are fellow citizens with players we are targeting, YET using that same logic, (ie players who are of same nationality, national teammates, and that are friends often talk) when reversed (ie. negative talking to when they do not like a manager or club) is dismissed out of hand as some conspiracy theory.
I also NEVER (I cannot speak for others) claimed that it was the only thing, or even the main reason that Hakimi is likely not coming. I made a list of the many reasons why and only 2 were focused on (and they were not the main ones). Perhaps Ziyech's negative experience, and then the stadium. The others were probably more important for sure than those two, but I would be remiss if I did not list every possible reason.
