  1. Please stop the stupid comments. I regreet making the first question. Nevermind.
  2. Courtois is not a reliable GK. Even during last season he was making the same mistakes. Its no like he is under a bad form, its just the case this team is less solid in defense, so the opponents would create more chances. Courtois is the typical GK that can make one impossible save and minutes later concede an easy goal.
  3. He used to be my favorite player, but to be honest I'm starting to go back to my old opinion: replacing Cech for Courtois was a mistake and hard to explain. Cech was 32 years old when we got Courtois back, he is not old for a GK and he easily have at least more 5 years at top level. He wasn't as solid as before, but still one of the best in the world. We weren't watching every Atletico's games with Courtois, then we had YouTube, UCL crucial games and big games against Barcelona and AtlΓ©tico. At this point I'm convinced he is not as solid as we thought. He can make some impossible saves, but in the same game he can conced a defensible goal. 2014 UCL Final he suffered a ridiculous goal from Marcelo. Last season I can remember Silva's goal in UCL, this season he was pretty bad in that Cavani goal. He still is a good GK, but I don't think at the end of the day Cech is worst than him. Cech was a club legend
  4. Afro belgians, not the hair. There are many black belgian footballers, but I would like to know how many % blacks represents in belgian population. For example, If you look at France NT in recent years and french footballers around the world, you would get the feeling France is a black country, but actually blacks are about only 5% of french population.
  5. Genuine question: are there so many afros in Belgium, or its something related with football?
  6. It would be amazing If City don't even make the top 4. Imagine Guardiola playing Europa League next season. Even better If West Ham end in 4th, leaving both Guardiola and Mourinho in Europa League next season. Lol
  7. "He must know" aka he must agrees with me. Perhaps after one season he will understand Kenedy is better than Cuadrado, at this moment I really doubt he won't use Cuadrado, since its a player he already know, while he doesn't even know what Kenedy is about. Pedro Can't be compared with Cuadrado, since he is a different kind of player.
  8. Conte is not the usual stupid who saw Cuadrado for 50 minutes and beleive he is shit. Pelle will be starting games for Italy in Euro. So, I'm basically saying Conte is not the Premier League fan who don't give a fuck about whats happening elsewhere, and I'm sure the is not the one who believe a guy with 30 years old is too old for football.
  9. If Conte is appointed I can imagine: - Cuadrado will be playing for Chelsea next season, in Italy Cuadrado quality is beyond doubt, and Conte knows he can be useful. - Chelsea will sign Pelle. Pelle is a regular pick for Italy NT under Conte, he is cheap and we need new strikers. - Conte will get an italian defender. This team need defenders, and Conte know some italian defenders who will be perfect for this team.
  10. Next 2 Spurs games are going to be decisive. If they do beat WH tomorrow and then Arsenal, they won't lose it. Leicester have easier fixtures, but they performaces in last two games is an indication they just ran out of fuel, and they are dropping too many points in those "easy" games. Spurs are on fire, they are winning game after game, they squad is way stronger than Leicester, but results of next 2 games might change everything.
  11. Thats not even funny, its just you showing your ignorance.
  12. Every young outspoken manager is "similar to Mourinho" for british press.
  13. The board do take some careful consideration before making decisions, but we should be asking what they take into consideration, and as I said it my first post, Chelsea usually make some obvious appointments: a big name with big trophy in his CV (Ancelotti, Mourinho MK II, Benitez or Hiddink) or a "promissing" manager, and that means someone who won a smaller trophy (Andre Villas Boas, or the news that the board was also considering Sampaoli, who just won Copa AmΓ©rica with Chile). Simeone already was a great manager in 2013, but he was only on Chelsea radar after his 13/14 season, and If Conte, instead of getting Italy job was at this moment working in Southampton or Aton Villas, I really doubt the board would even consider appointing him, and thats my point.
  14. Conte as the favorite as the other names linked (Simeone and Allegri) speaks loud about people running the club. I'm not sure the those people know one thing or two about football. Conte is the typical Chelsea appointment. Lets think about our past managers: Scolari: Won WC with Brazil in 2002, and was doing really good with Portugal NT, making the portuguese side play their strongest football in decades. Ancelotti: humm, this guy is managing Milan and won 2 UCL for them. Lets bring him. Andre Villas Boas: hey, young portuguese manager, playing attacking football and just won an Europa League. The righ man. RDM: he was just an interim, but he just one one FA Cup and one UCL, we can't fire him, can we? Benitez: just an interim, but of course this board would look for someone with a CV with a big trophy. Mourinho: the squad was prepared for Guardiola, but we didn't get Guardiola, but we must get a TOP manager, a great one, a special one, so this man must be...Mourinho!!! Now lets think about those names. Simeone is only taken into consideration because he won La Liga in 2014 and made that year UCL Final. Allegri was playing UCL Final last season. Conte is managing one of the most important NT in the world and the nexo Euro is close, so he is in the spotlight just like other coachs from big european NT. I'm still waiting the day Chelsea will make an appointment like Pochettino in Spurs, or Luis Enrique in Barcelona, or even Simeone, before he was famous as a coach. In PL we have some good coachs than can prove to be great ones If they have the opportunity manage better players, like Koeman, Bilic or Quique Flores, but of course this board won't even consider appointing someone from Watford, Southampton or West Ham, they need someone with a fancy brand in their CV, so course they want someone who is "Italy head coach". Even when the board appoint a "promissing" manager, its based in the fact that manager won Europa League and portuguese League with an attacking football based Porto. Conte might be the right man at the end of the day, but I really doubt the board is getting Conte beacuse they indentified him as the right man, I really doubt they know his tactics and football phylosophy, it seems its more based in the fact he is Italy head coach and won some trophies with Juventus in the past and is available.
  15. You're wrong, for 2 reasons: 1- Hazard is not a player that has a status of someone who can say: I'm so good that the only team I would move is Real Madrid, and we are not talking about a player moving to chinese league. PSG will pay a lot more than Hazard's receives from Chelsea, and he is not a Ballon D'or qualitty player, so there is no reason to not move to Paris. 2- Chelsea at the moment is not an upgrade to PSG. There is also a 3rd reason: Real don't need Hazard.
  16. Hazard injury wasn't that serious. He was pretty bad before JosΓ© was sacked, he was actually below bar, and yes, during some parts of the game he is playing out of position, but when he is playing in the left he has been average as well.
  17. You don't really need to tell me he is not being literal about the fee, but you should really be watching another team when you believe Cuadrado has no place in this squad. This is far from a stellar team, its actually team where the best DM is Mikel, a LB who is actually a RB and can't even cross, and a RB who is an aging CB, and is a specialisty in killing attacking opportunities.
  18. At this point I still don't understand how some people refuse to blame Mourinho for the weak squad we have at the moment. I remember days ago that the next manager will have a huge task in rebuilding this squad. I saw many people saying its a proof that Mourinho was a victim of Emenalo not buying the right players, and Mourinho this team needed reinforcements. First thing we should be asking is if Mourinho really believed this squad is as weak as it really is. Every single manager in the world will be willing to add new players every season, but did Mourinho really realized this team is weak as it is? http://www.chelsea.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=554099 Well, Mourinho was saying in the summer it was really difficult to improve this squad, because its diffcult to find a better midfielder than Fabregas and MATIC (!!!), so the squad needed 2 or 3 players in order to avoid difficults due to injuries. We also have to remember Mourinho spent last season praising the back four Azpi, Cahill, Terry, Ivanovic. He was so happy with that back 4, he even allowed Luis to be sold back to Madrid after only one season. Before the season started, almost every pundit were backing Chelsea to win the league again because we had the strongest squad. We also have to remember all the players Mourinho allowed to leave, and I really believe everyone realize this squad would offer more options if we still had the likes of Schurle, Salah, Cuadrado, Luiz, Luis, Kevin de Bruyne, Lukaku and Mata around. Easily one of the most dynamic and strongest squads in the world. But, no. Mourinho was someone who was not shy about letting Schurle leave, despite the german having a decent goal's record for his playing time, and letting Salah and Cuadrado leaving after 4 months of competitive football and no more than 4 or 5 starting games from both. That speaks loud about Mourinho poor squad manegement. He couldn't even properly rotate his players, so some of them easily lost motivation. There were the days when Cahill, Ivanovic, Terry and Ivanovic all got similar playing time during the whole season. Under Mourinho the team had basically 10 fixed players in the starting line-up, and one slot for everyone else, and at the end of the day we all knew Ramires, Oscar or Mikel would be fighting for that place, and thats it. Mourinho is the antithesis of long term. Considering United squad is no more than so so, Mourinho's (lack of) ability to build squads will be truly exposed.
  19. lol "Watching what he did for us". How many games did Cuadrado start? If I remember when Cuadrado was introduced, the game was usually decided. Considering his first game was in early february and considering he started no more than 4 games, Its really nonsense to say 2m is good enough based in watch you saw last season. Its really weird when I read people saying every single player must be sold, when this squad is pretty weak and lack depth. Actually Cuadrado should be playing here next season.
  20. Game after game for me its pretty clear Hazard's mind is elsewhere. At the moment I Can't see him as a Chelsea playe next season. I think he lost his desire to be a Chelsea player due to Mourinho's tactics. Just remember at the end of 2013/14 season he said he was usually asked to things by himself, and suggested the team should play a more attacking football, no to mention that from time to time Mourinho criticized him for not being superb at the defense. Perhaps the new manager can change his mind, but Chelsea is really facing a uncertain future, and as he suggested days ago, he is seeking Champions League football. PSG is losing Ibra for next season, and they will look for a new star. For me its almost certinha Hazard will playing in France in August.
  21. Really weird If thats the case. High skilled players usually receives rough tackles, If he is afraid, then thats a problem. Refs are not there to project specific players, so If he is afraid that speaks loud about his character, and considering the is yet to make a great game in a UCL knockout stage, you migh be right, perhaps he is a player that just doens't have the right character to be one of the best.
  22. Hazard, Willian, Pedro and Kenedy are different players when you compare them with Oscar. This team need not only quantity but aos dynamism.
