Cant believe some people really beleive Spurs are favorites to win this one. Chelsea 4-1 Spurs

Sometimes I Can't stand some people in this forum. They act like those people playing online divisions in FIFA or PES , when they usually have a default formation and playing style, and only use 12 or 13 players the whole year. It doesn't really matter if Conte will use 4-3-3, 3-5-2, 4-4-2, any succesful team in the world need a big squad, instead of only 11 players. I think those people don't realize the biggest of our problems in past years was the lack of depth in this fucking squad. Bayern don't care if they already have Ribery, Goetze and Robben, they still will go for Douglas Costa. They don't care if they already have Martínez, Alcantara and Xabi Alonso, they will get Vidal, but here in this forum all I read is: "oh, lets sell this player, because I don't think he will make my ideal starting XI team". Fuck that. Willian was our best player this season, and we all know this is not a Club that must sell in order to buy, It doesn't matter the formation Conte will use, or how many player we will get next season, Willian still is a important and useful player, and doesn't make any sense to use the word "sell" in this topic. The players that should be sold are those ones who are not motivated anymore and are agitating for a move (we should only consider selling Hazard if thats the case), or players who have become 100% useless, like Remy and Oscar. For me, we should get at least 2 strikers in next tranfer window, since at the moment only Costa can be considering useful (in my books Traore is not even close of being ready yet), and of those strikers should be a top one, but that does't mean we should selling Costa.

Perhaps Traore is not as good as you think he is. To be honest, I'm far from impressed. Kenedy is the only kid I was only impressed during this season. RLC looks meh, and Traore lacks intensity. As soon as he was introduced in that PSG game, our team lost all attacking power and our chances were dead in that moment.

I understand your feelings since you are a "true" fan. I don't care about Spurs at all, since when I started watching Chelsea back in 2004 Spurs was a mid table team, and since I don't live in UK I don't live everyday rivalry between the fans, so I don't care about Spurs winning the league and won't be here saying I hate them just to sound a genuine fan.

People talking about Leicester, I still not convinced they will win it. Since that game against City they are winning games despite being outplayed for most part of the game. This result against WH was predictable. But lets be honest, for PL Spurs winning it is better than Leicester. As everyone is saying, Leicester this season can be describe as a "miracle". Spurs to other side is a team that is doing everything right in recent years, they are getting better every season and they became even stronger after Pochetino was appointed, and they are not breaking the bank or doing crazy thing in market. They also a team out of the establishment and they don't have rich man injecting free money in the club. inWe can easily see Spurs fighting for PL again next season, but Leicester will probably finish between 7th or 10th. Leicester send the message that you can just fight for the relegation one season and then miraculously win the league months later.

Every time I see Traore playing and people going mad for him, I realize how bad this season is. Traore scored some goals and thats it. He is average at best. Kenedy and RLC are the ones who should be given a chance next season. Traore is not ready yet fot first team action. Every time Costa was replaced for Traore, the team completely lost its attacking power.

To be honest I don't remember the last time I saw a big clubs breaking a kit contract for another one. I really doubt we will see a Nike kit in the next 7 years.

City is not a good role model. For the past years they spent money and more money, and only now they were able to teach a UCL semi final after a very faborable fixture (don't get me wrong, but this PSG is not even close of being a UCL winner quality). I rather look at Leicester and Atlético.

If the club is investing huge money on the academy, the manager just can't discard the kids that quick. Yes, he can choose to not play that 80m striker and refuse to pay attention to players from academy, but those choices will be wrong ones. Again about Pato and other players, you are right, we never saw them playing for Chelsea, but playing for Chelsea is different than training for Chelsea. I completely disagree. Getting Pato is not the problem, the problem is when there is no harmony between who is buying players and who is using them. I mean, if the club bought Dijilolobji, in my opinion the manager MUST try to make this signing a successful one. I'm not saying you must throw Dijiloboji into the starting line up, or anything like that, but he wasn't even making in to the squad day. But what happened? Mourinho made it public that he wasn't involved in the acquisition of this player, and it was clear he was never going to use him. The same thing happened with Pato situation. It was pathetic how Hiddink handled the whole thing. He is trying to convince us Pato had a fitness problem, but he didn't have. Pato already was able to play professional football when he became a Chelsea player. For some reason he was refusing to use Pato. He only used Pato after Costa, Remy and Traore weren't available. WTF? Remy started the game against Villa!! Its clear Remy doesn't have a future here, after 60 days Chelsea was losing money with a player, and Hiddink starts Remy!! I mean, the season is already over, we won't be able to judge if Pato might be a useful player if he is not playing, and that match would be perfect for that. So, what is happening? Its clear the managers don't have total control of transfers. Thats not exactly a bad thing, since in big clubs its not uncommon that the manager won't have total control of transfers. Think about Real Madrid. The acquisition of the likes of Ronaldo, Bale, James and Kroos are more related with people running the club than with whos the current manager. That doesn't mean the manager can't get some specific players, like Ricardo Carvalho, who was a typical Mourinho's indication for Real Madrid. Same thing happen in Barcelona. Suarez and Neymar are not Barcelona's players because of Tata Martino or Luis Henrique. Zubizarreta, football director, was the man responsible for the transfers. In my opinion the club must make it clear that as soon as players was bought, the manager must try to use him and only he the signing is proved to be a failure they will look for someone else.

So the club is doomed because the younger kids are not playing more? The are many successful clubs around that are based in buying elsewhere instead of developing their own players. Actually this talk about "play the kids" is popular when things are not that perfect. Its pretty boring this talk about "I don't care about whos next boss is, because the problem is elsewhere, bla bla bla, and next manager will be sacked anyway, bla bla bla". The lack of direction in this club is more related with picking the wrong managers than anything. As I said before, the names involved in "the next manager" saga speak aloud about it. I mean, Sampaolli almost got the job, but since he has poor english, they are giving Conte the job. Sampaoli and Conte are different animals. We have 0 indication Conte will work as the next manager. Don't tell me he was doing a good job with Juventus, yes he won Seria A there, but winning Seria A with Juve nowadays is not such a big deal. Italian league is decadent, and Juve is perhaps the most well structured italian club at the moment. So, we are not talking about 3 seria trophies in 90s or early 00s. Think about Conte in 2014. Would anyone here say he was a good option to become the next Chelsea manager? No. So, why he got this job? Well, he became Italian NT head coach. Now he has a different status based in the fact he manages Italy. If Conte doesn't succeed here the board is to blame, but because the board was the one who decided he was the right man, but he will be the one to blame for his own failure. Is the board at fault for Mourinho's 9 defeats and 6 wins in 16 PL game early this season? Yes, since this board was the one to build a Guardiola's squad only to let Mourinho (the anti Guardiola) manage it, but Mourinho was the one responsible for the tactics, and for getting hid of an entire squad of players that are useful elsewhere.
