  1. No disrespect to the team or any of our players, but this for me will be regarded as the N’Golo Kante final. Incredible.
  2. Shame Giroud didn’t play. No doubt he would’ve been able to distract City’s CBs with his pace which created so much space for Mount to find Havertz....
  3. That’s the thing. I know people are wary of Jorginho but he hasn’t put a foot wrong in games like these.
  4. Would be incredible business if we snagged him as well. Sell Jorginho and buy Tchouameni. Loan Gilmour and buy Aouar.
  5. Really hope we snag him. Utterly dominate DM.
  6. Assuming Dortmund have an option to buy?
  7. Assisted Ziyech's goal in the Semi Final against City (twice) and assisted Alonso's winner in the league against City. All of which came from exposing City's high line. But hey, let's play Giroud!
  8. Doesn't fit the system. Aguero for 2 seasons would've been perfect.
  9. That is an incredible risk. I do expect Havertz and Werner to perform better, but we are still asking a lot from both of them when both are likely to play together. What if they are injured?
  10. Pretty sure we have won every game under Tuchel against a high line with Werner up front. But hey, lets start Pulisic just for the heck of it.
  11. I don't know. Since Tuchel apparently identified Lacroix and Tchouaméni, players that aren't essentially marquee but fit a certain requirement, I had hoped he also has a list of strikers. PSG was all Leandro. But what signings did he make at Mainz and Dortmund that turned out flops?
  12. Or, we could find a striker that fits Tuchel's mold in the hopes he can become a success.
  13. Which is why I suggested if Tuchel has a network of options not named those three. Obviously he wants his ST to be mobile and offer qualities on the ball, so are there not any options that fit into his mould? I sound like a broken record but it will be suicide not to go into next season with a recognisable ST.
  14. You have to wonder if Tuchel has a network of strikers he is intersted in considering Kane, Haaland, and Lukaku are probably all unattainable.
  15. It is when one moves like molasses and the other is rapid. Wonder which one will be easier to defend against when they are playing a counter attacking system...
  16. I see a pattern of games won when Werner plays against a high line. He attracts defenders and always has them on their toes. That alone has proved incredibly vital for our other attackers to score.
  17. ....because he caused the most harm against City on both occasions? And Liverpool? And Real Madrid? And Atletico when they had to score? You see a pattern here?
  18. Just because he plays there doesn't mean he's effective. You just have to look at Mount's overall game and realise he shouldn't be spearheading our attack. He's a B2B midfielder and virtually the only reason he is playing is to provide additional support to the two CMs and how good he is in a press.
  19. Werner is useless yet he caused the most harm against City on both occasions?
  20. Me too. The one who is actually an attacking player. Who's been shit at attacking this season.
  21. What's that? Horrid first touch when controlling a pass?
