  1. Only 10% of it is accrued on the financial statement. The very reason why we've been able to bypass FFP all those years.
  2. We work well under the radar with these type of signings.
  3. England are terrible in defensive transition, hence why Southgate is opting for a 5 at the back.
  4. No. His inability to play from the back destroys the fundamental basis of Tuchel’s system. Rather we go for Lacroix our give Guehi a shot.
  5. True but we barely won against a relegated Portsmouth.
  6. We can’t persist with Zouma so a CB also. And back up GK
  7. The only thing that has me slightly less worried is that we look to take the initiative under Tuchel compared to Conte. That and how good he is tactically. I know some German fans actually rate Tuchel higher than Klopp purely because of that.
  8. We saw progress with DiMatteo. We saw progress with Conte. We even saw progress with Lampard. Second season syndrome seems to be common theme with us. 26 million we had to pay out to Conte and his staff, to which Tuchel has a similar habit of going against the club. I also have a worry that our football will grow stale considering the pragmatic approach we see at times. I don't know, I would've much rather preferred a contract that shows an automatic extension should we see positive signs come January 2022.
  9. Yup. Noticed that immediately during the opening ceremony. Stern looks on all their faces. You could assume they had the final on their mind since we beat Real. I was literally holding my breath when they walked past the trophy, praying nobody would touch it.
  10. Or Tuchel and the club have only Haaland in mind and will go all out next summer. 🤔
  11. Is he willing to play 2nd fiddle to Havertz? Believe me, I would be over the moon if Tammy decides to stay and fight for his role as he can only get better.
  12. Think we were a little premature here. Obviously I love and rate the man, but on a financial aspect I would've told Tuchel he has the summer with our backing in terms of transfers. We see progression next season, he will be given an extension that January 2022.
  13. Anyone else's heart drop during that handball claim against James? 😂
  14. I disagree. His pace and the way he mosies on the ball I find incredibly tedious. Destroys our left side as there were so many moments this season under Tuchel where Alonso played I thought to myself, "we could really get at this left side if Chilwell was playing". I would genuinely rather play CHO at LWB than Alonso.
  15. They already do. I'd prefer Tchouameni as we lack a out and out defensive midfielder.
  16. Are we really going to persist with Alonso another season?
  17. For those who haven’t noticed, every one of our back 5 made a crucial block/tackle that could of led to a City goal. James, Dave, Christensen, Rudiger, and Chilwell. All made crucial individual defensive contributions that prevented a goal. https://www.instagram.com/p/CPnsyWQCAFC/?utm_medium=copy_link Defensive masterclass.
  18. I can see this being a direct failure. Spurs' players are all probably sick of conservative football at this rate.
  19. What's amusing is that all of Sancho's "mates" won't likely here next season bar Chilwell.
  20. Dortmund would be expecting an option to buy with a deal like that.
  21. We've also showed the whole world how to successfully beat them.
  22. 1. It's United 2. He'd make the RW spot his own 3. Good wages.
