That is an incredible risk. I do expect Havertz and Werner to perform better, but we are still asking a lot from both of them when both are likely to play together. What if they are injured?

Pretty sure we have won every game under Tuchel against a high line with Werner up front. But hey, lets start Pulisic just for the heck of it.

I don't know. Since Tuchel apparently identified Lacroix and Tchouaméni, players that aren't essentially marquee but fit a certain requirement, I had hoped he also has a list of strikers. PSG was all Leandro. But what signings did he make at Mainz and Dortmund that turned out flops?

Or, we could find a striker that fits Tuchel's mold in the hopes he can become a success.

Which is why I suggested if Tuchel has a network of options not named those three. Obviously he wants his ST to be mobile and offer qualities on the ball, so are there not any options that fit into his mould? I sound like a broken record but it will be suicide not to go into next season with a recognisable ST.

You have to wonder if Tuchel has a network of strikers he is intersted in considering Kane, Haaland, and Lukaku are probably all unattainable.

I see a pattern of games won when Werner plays against a high line. He attracts defenders and always has them on their toes. That alone has proved incredibly vital for our other attackers to score.

Just because he plays there doesn't mean he's effective. You just have to look at Mount's overall game and realise he shouldn't be spearheading our attack. He's a B2B midfielder and virtually the only reason he is playing is to provide additional support to the two CMs and how good he is in a press.

Nice. His 4th assist all season. Something you constantly destroy Mount on yet he isn't even an attacking midfielder.

The only silverlighting in all of this is that we have been incredible under Tuchel when seen as the underdogs. Not to mention Pep will spend all week over thinking his set up considering how poor we are against a low block.

Mentality has been destroyed since the Arsenal game. Genuinely destroyed.

Just another reason why I want to steer away from the 343 being a permanent formation/system next season.

But you'd think that would aspire Pulisic, Havertz, and Ziyech to step their game up. Except they are equally poor.

Getting both Rice and Tchouaméni sounding pretty good about now. Keep Kovacic and Kante. Bin Jorginho and loan Gilmour.

Any more arguments of player X should be playing ahead of Werner should be finally put to bed. Not one of our attack has performed at a consistent level to be a regular starter. Havertz missing a sitter vs Arsenal. Mount invisible in the big games. Ziyech lackluster. Pulisic missing a sitter vs Villa. CHO and his horrid decision making. This argument should now be dead in the water.

Because like all of our attackers, they blow hot and cold. We do not have a definite front 3. Just two weeks ago he skied a sitter against Arsenal.
