  1. What a farce and blatant click bait article. TOTAL AGREEMENT REACHED....yet if you actually read it it states "Real are stated to only be willing to bid slightly above €100m. Clearly, this saga could run and run." Add the fact 99% of the population know Real are broke, this is some conjured up bollocks.
  2. Liverpool have three attackers that scored 260+ goals within the past 4 years. City won the league without a traditional #9 fair enough, but in context this was a pandemic season where they had no real competitors, and their conversation rate was far superior than ours. Particularly since we switched to a back 5. City are also looking to pursue Kane so it isn't as if they are head over heals continuing to not have a #9 in their team.
  3. I wouldn't exactly classify Haaland as a poacher. I also wouldn't call our current system something that's sustainable when we are currently 16th in the conversion charts since Tuchel's appointment. Something to build upon yes, but something that will eventually collapse should the execution of our chances not be fixed this summer. Again, I am firmly on the boat of wagering utter capitulation should we go into next season in the hopes our current attackers find better form. 1st in chances created under Tuchel. Haaland would at least provide the team a focal point to be at the end of the chances we create.
  4. Think you pretty much answered your own question. You'd hope Tuchel would want an attacker that is the clinical focal point vs having an additional attacker involved in build up which ruins the execution of the attack.
  5. I think its more so the latter. We need a clinical focal point vs another attack heavily involved in build up. So Haaland.
  6. He's pretty good technically. Great dribbler and link up play. When you look at our current attacking players metrics in build up, they are all heavily involved. When you compare it to Isak and Haaland, the former looks like he would better suit us. But that is the question. Are we so poor at finishing because we have too many players involved in the build up and no one being the clinical focal point? If that is the case Haaland is the answer.
  7. Not to sound ignorant, but how on earth are footballers still not vaccinated?
  8. Looks like he could also possibly play LCB too.
  9. Yeah RCB was always his calling. People criticising his passes that led to goals when in reality only the first (Tielemans goal) was his fault. But even then, it was a handball. 2nd was Kovacic not being aware and getting caught on it too long. These errors are something that can be improved relatively easy (more assertion in forward passing)
  10. Aye Pogba dilly dallying in our two man midfield that requires incredibly discipline is exactly what we need.
  11. I would rather go with James, Dave, and CHO than to splash 80 bloody million on Hakimi. We have CM and ST that are arguably higher priorities.
  12. Let's all relax. Hardly concrete when a Paris based reporter is claiming Hakimi prefers PSG. Just the other day we saw a report saying Hakimi prefers to play in the Premier League.
  13. I prefer Tchouameni. Not seen much of Locatelli and his defensive ability.
  14. How’d you reckon he’d fair at LWB?
  15. I agree. But goal scoring central midfielders are a rare breed. Can’t put an attacking midfielder in that CM spot. That’s my point:
  16. Tuchel made it clear that the two central midfielders in this system have an incredible amount of responsibility. Their main duties are finding the space to quickly transition the ball and to be tactically disciplined in defence. This is the same for every formation that has only two central midfielders and why you don't see attacking midfielders playing in a 442. We personally saw how poor Mount was in that role and I was one of the people who thought Mount could excel there. Far as I'm concerned, the decision making in the final third from our attacking play has hurt us a lot more than the limited attacking capabilities of our central midfielders against low blocks.
  17. Don't think we are in for a CB with the Hakimi rumors and James' utilisating at RCB. We also have Sarr and Guehi coming back so we see how they fair doing preseason.
  18. Low tier source claiming we have agreed personal terms and are 'half way there'. https://www.si.com/soccer/Chelsea/transfer-news/report-Chelsea-agree-personal-terms-with-erling-haaland
  19. Hakimi has played LB for the national side and has looked decent there. I would imagine he will primarily be RWB rotating with James. Think we are going to see a lot of rotation next season.
  20. Just need to hope the rumors of Lazio wanting Kepa on loan are true.
  21. CF, CM, RWB and a LWB if both Alonso and Emerson leave. That apparently is what's been reported by the club's correspondents. These Maddison and Grealish rumors blatantly clickbait.
