  1. Agreed. Just hoping its all Matt Law speculation.
  2. Paper talk amidst his contract extension. No way Bayern sell and no way Goretzka takes the step down.
  3. Declan Rice sort of feeling like an inevitability at this rate. Wouldn't oppose Traore but not a player I'd trust against tougher opposition. Alternating between James and him could work.
  4. This is a risk, but the only way I would consider that risk is if Kane stays put. This will then leave all Top 4 clubs without an all an out #9.
  5. I think if we take last January 2020 into reference, the club held back on stop gap signings.
  6. I swear some people still think Kante is some sitting defensive midfielder. Phillips likes to bomb forward and win the ball back as well.
  7. I'm seeing reports Traore would be available for 25 million? If that's the case I say go for it.
  8. Before the Villa game. In his presser Tuchel stated he loved our academy and rated Anjorin and Livramento in particular that he always included them in first team training.
  9. Worse than Willian on that regard. Moses too. For me, if we get Traore its RWB or nothing.
  10. Oh give it a rest. Miles better than Barkley? RLC's form under Sarri is the most overrated pile of tripe since the Oscar double vs Juventus bollocks. As if this small sample of good performances is enough justification to keep them after years of bad form. What is Ruben's best by the way? Aside a few goals against bottom half premier league clubs and Europa league standard opposition, RLC gave virtually nothing off the ball on a tactical standpoint. Zero. The Achilles injury set him back sure, but he was never going to be a player that would unlock defences in the final third or be a tactical component that managers love utilising. He offers nothing. Bloke can't get into a relegated Fulham's team at CAM and Fulham fans were begging their club not to sign him permanently. But yeah, let's give him a shot here.
  11. Isn't it well known Tuchel rates him? Hopefully he sticks around as I'd rather go into next season with Livramento and James alternating at RWB. Dave and James at RCB.
  12. Isak maybe. Not sure we linked with anyone else.
  13. Then god have mercy on Timo Werner and the stick he’ll inevitably receive.
  14. What is Adama Traore valued at anyway?
  15. Lord knows what PSG are offering him and bonuses that are under the table. From what I read they are desperate for an upgrade on Florenzi.
  16. That is still a lot of money for a position that isn't a priority. And my argument still stands, he is utterly ineffective anywhere else and in any other system.
  17. Behave. Nearly 80 million for a RWB that can't really be effective anywhere else. Rather we utilise both CHO against low blocks and James against tougher opposition.
  18. For me its out of the question. A ST is needed. Haaland is a generational talent and should be the priority. Isak closely monitored as a backup.
  19. But our competitors aren't standing still. All reports indicate they are improving in areas that were weaknesses. Your last paragraph could potentially lead to an utter capitulation. What's to stay our current crop fail to perform against low blocks again and we find ourselves struggling to break Top 4? Surely that would mean the end of Tuchel, with yet again instability in the club. Why would Haaland and Mbappe even entertain the thought of coming here?
  20. I expect everyone to have better individual seasons this time around, but you have to ask yourself, is it enough to challenge for the title? Again, if City get Grealish+Kane and United get Sancho + Varane, Liverpool with a fully fit defence and Leicester continuing to improve, are you still willing to take that risk?
  21. Sure they can, but are you willing to take that risk? Particularly if City get Kane + Grealish and United get Sancho + Varane? Sure we need our attackers to do more, but not having a recognisable #9 when we are already 16th in chances converted, is that something you really want to head next season into?
