  1. European Pedigree is very much real. It's no surprise we were the last first winners in 24 years.
  2. Heart set on linking up with Poch is what got me. Why would a player, who has no affiliation to Poch, would have his heart on working with that utter bottle job? 😂
  3. Reports in France say that Hakimi has his heart set on linking-up with Mauricio Pochettino in Paris and will snub a move to Stamford Bridge. Aye that's totally believable.
  4. Think its evident we aren't in for a CB. Hopefully Guehi comes in and impresses as I live in fear when ever Zouma plays.
  5. I don't believe it myself. All reports indicate City want Kane. Much like @King Kante assertion, it feels as if this will drag out like Havertz, although I am doubtful this will be pulled off given the difference in circumstances.
  6. https://www.si.com/soccer/manchestercity/transfer-rumours/man-city-set-to-make-110m-offer-for-erling-haaland-Chelsea-set-for-race-to-sign-player Also states they put in a bid for Kane but nothing was reported if they accepted or not.
  7. City have put in a bid for 115 million.
  8. Surely we have to be the only one in the mix? Spanish clubs broke. Bayern ruled out. Liverpool can't afford him. United only have eyes on Sancho. City and Pep allegedly only want Kane.
  9. Don't think the club nor Haaland would like the loan deal. Too much risk. We could fall out on a CL place or Haaland could tear his ACL.
  10. I think the Bundesliga is a difficult league to judge players on. Even Batshuayi managed to look quality. Far as I'm concerned, most Bundesliga fans don't rate Andre Silva. (penalty merchant as well) Tammy has proven himself in arguably the most difficult league in the world. People tend to criticise his overall game, but at Dortmund he would be at the focal point of so many creative outlets. You just have to look at Haaland's metrics and see how little involved he needs to be in the build up. I've always been adamant that when you have Tammy in front of goal, he will likely find the ball in the back of the net. He can only get better and on a team like Dortmund, in a league that provides so much space for attackers, I think he would absolutely flourish. Far more than Silva. Personal opinion obviously.
  11. Never thought Dortmund would accept it, just something to see where we stand. I'm personally under the assumption/belief Dortmund would want Tammy over Silva.
  12. Bid 100 million + Tammy and see what they say
  13. I would still loan him out until he's ready to replace Jorginho. Bring in Tchouameni this summer.
  14. This. @Tomo and I mentioned maybe a year or so ago that Liverpool will have a 2-4 year spell then fall back to mediocrity. Their rise was an anomaly given it was heavily funded by Barca for the Coutinho transfer, and with Klopp's record of burning the team out + their ageing stars with ZERO resale value, you can fully expect them to drop out of the top 4 and stay out for the foreseeable future. Us, City, United, are pretty much set moving forward given the quality and age of our players. 4th spot is up for grabs.
  15. What progress? Finishing 2nd amid a pandemic and congested season? He's still tactically inept in Europe and bottles virtually every cup he's in.
  16. Don't think we should be fearing United until they shape up and get rid of Ole.
  17. https://www.eurosport.com/football/africa-cup-of-nations/2019/football-african-football-s-governing-body-caf-has-announced-the-postponment-of-the-draw-for-the-afr_sto8359963/story.shtml Basically detailing the ongoing civil war in Cameroon (hosts) and the COVID pandemic is most African countries.
  18. Reports AFCON may get cancelled next year so we may be able to stick with Kepa another season.
  19. He'd definitely be a player worth keeping. Just not as a starter.
  20. I thought Mount signed a contract that had him over 100K?
  21. He's alright in a back 4. Not elite, but does a job. He's as close as Dani Alves as you could get given his attacking instincts. Should Tuchel leave he would still be very useful under a progressive manager.
