I see a pattern of games won when Werner plays against a high line. He attracts defenders and always has them on their toes. That alone has proved incredibly vital for our other attackers to score.

Just because he plays there doesn't mean he's effective. You just have to look at Mount's overall game and realise he shouldn't be spearheading our attack. He's a B2B midfielder and virtually the only reason he is playing is to provide additional support to the two CMs and how good he is in a press.

This argument should now be dead in the water.

Because like all of our attackers, they blow hot and cold. We do not have a definite front 3. Just two weeks ago he skied a sitter against Arsenal.
