  1. Agreed. 2 years left should let the season play out then make a more informed decision. You really never know how this team will respond next season, the motivation is much different when you are the champion then striving to the top. I also say this Mou is the best underdog manager ever(in my lifetime anyway) but personally he is not one who deals with the title as "favorites" that well.
  2. All those players mentioned, and they are still linked to Callejon. They have so much more depth, and Luis would be a huge addition to that team. I think they could play more 4-3-3 next season.
  3. it is a good article. Which is why i think we should wait until next season to give him a contract extension if he still deserves it. He has shown how bad things could get in his third season, and never a good idea to give him a contract extension when his stock is at his peak. Second season always been Mou best with all his sides Chelsea, Inter, and Real Madrid.
  4. Luis was severely missed by Alti, a lot of their goals came from that side. He would be a huge return for them. Players like Miranda and Turan were good players for them, but they wouldn't be missed much. Alti should be much better next season.
  5. I was explaining it to XPetrCechX.
  6. "If he Isn't among our player of the year nominees come the end of the year" Every Chelsea player is a nominee for the teams player of the year. There are no shortlist for Chelsea POTY award.
  7. Me either, he had a comparable season to Willian. Both played their role in our success this season. Really similar if you consider both played their best football in the second half of the season, and the majority of our fanbase were down on those two players in the first half of the season. By most they were considered our weak links. I honestly rate them the same amount. Good players, not great though and not ideal first names teamers.
  8. Maybe money had something to do with it, i cant say since i don't know him. You are right some people are like that, they get a taste of stardom+Money+lifestyle, their motivation goes down and they stop striving, then they decline. You can't do much for them, if they don't have the ambition to be the best they can be then honestly they can't be helped. But there is something wrong with how Chelsea handles their youth players. I say our loan system is the equivalent of business outsourcing, whenever companies outsource their products the quality of the product completely deteriorates. Outsourcing admittedly is successful for mass production(ex Chip/tech, Nike, Adidas, etc) but not suited for luxury products(Gucci, Louis Vutton, Burburry, etc). Developing youth players should be treated as luxury products, because the chances of developing one at Chelsea standard is quite rare. You have to remember Josh was not a finish product, if Chelsea wanted him developed properly they should have kept him in house and took responsibility for it. But they loaned him hoping Swansea would develop him. Lets be honest if Swansea, Boro, Watford, Wigan were good enough to develop a rare talent like Josh(while at the time he was perceived to be) then why are they not producing players like him? because they are not good enough, so it makes no sense to let them handle Josh development. Well hopefully Chelsea has learned their lesson after years of failed Youth loan policy. Maybe the reluctance to loan RLC is a sign of change. Ps. What i call Youth loan policy does not include players like Lukaku, KDB, Tibo, etc. I consider them professional players and not Chelsea youth, since they arrived at Chelsea at that level.
  9. Chelsea would want to avoid the the immense tax trigger, so yeah you are right if Chelsea willing to fork out the extra money. I agree 30m is a lot, i think they will sell for a lot less then that. Pedro is leaving i have no doubt about that, Chelsea or another club.
  10. 1. You might be aware release clause has huge tax ramification. So Barca has to agree to something less then the release clause, and Chelsea would want to avoid that. 2. I don't think Barca has any intention of keeping him tbh, why would they reduce his release clause to a somewhat reasonable price if they want to keep him? Honestly i don't think we will pay 30m Euros, this will be negotiated it will more likely be closer to 20m.
  11. That was confusing, i think i understand what you mean. By your explantation. Willian will be here next season no matter what and he will be a starter at the beginning of the season. Willian will be given continues trust so that is not in question. We are talking about Mou, he is very loyal to his players. So Willian will be trusted, clearly uncharacteristic if he was benched by Mou without any reason. Remember Mou brought Luis..........And i am still waiting for him to replace Azpi, and Azpi moved back to the RB. Still hasn't happened and now he seems on his way out. Under 99% of managers i have no doubt Luis would have been a starter. If Pedro displaces Willian that is quite an accomplishment. You have a preference for Willian that is fine, Pedro brings something different to the table though. They are different players. Pedro would be a welcomed addition, paying 12-15 pounds is an investment i would make.
  12. Players should start based on merit. Not because you like a player and dislike a player. No player place should be guaranteed, there is not a Chelsea i like that much to put him ahead of Chelsea best interest.
  13. Why not wait until next season to reward Mou with a new contract extension? He has two years left on his contract, and another season would give Chelsea a better description of where we are heading with Mou.
  14. Bastian will do great individually if he stays injury free, The quality of CMs in the PL is so poor i have no doubt he will do great things. Also his familiarity with LVG makes this a no brainer, he will be used correctly unlike ADM or Falcao. As for United, i still think they need more work especially in the ST department for me to take them seriously as legit contenders.
  15. Man wish we could hijack his potential transfer to United, one of my favorite non Chelsea players over the years.
  16. It showed be obvious to anyone at this point, that Oscar has stamina issues and he is quite clearly physically undeveloped. No point arguing that, hopefully this is a focus of his. But when i see Oscar minutes compared to extraordinary fit players like Alexis, Willian, Messi, and Ronaldo. I am like oh so what is your point? Those players are extremely fit they can handle those type of minutes and work load. Those players are extremely fit and i knew that, Oscar can not handle those minutes i already knew that too. It is just stating the obvious, everyone and their mothers knows that. But it is not really applicable argument against why Oscar wouldn't benefit from a summer rest. It should be obvious no that a player that lacks good stamina/endurance would benefit from a good amount of rest? Btw Neymar 2013/2014 season was kinda like Oscar's to an extent. In fact Barca fans will tell you that, and some believed that he was saving himself for the World Cup. Also Neymar injury in the world cup gave him some appropriate rest, just to be clear on that. Anyway the season starts in just over a month, we will see what would be the case.
  17. Promise to replay at a later time, because i need some time to replay to this as best as possible.
  18. So you knew Josh on a personal level? How can you make such statements about a person without knowing him?
  19. Juve fans are extremely confident that Pogba will stay for another season. I think that will be the case, if Pogba leaves it will be next season.
  20. Not in my opinion, the whole exercise is meant to show that we perceive an object by its surrounding, in this example it was the orange circle. Most would say the one on the right is bigger because it is surrounded by smaller circles. For some(like you) the surrounding anchored you to perceive the circle to be bigger since it was surrounded by other big circles. The answer in this example is absolute, they are both the same size. In real life the answers are not so absolute. How you perceive the world and someone else does not matter, you can never be sure what is right and wrong. There is no wrong way or right way to see the world in most cases.
  21. They are both the same size, however you pick the one where most would say is smaller. Demeaned? How so? I do not do so. Football is a team sport, a lot of players contributed to our season success. Even unpopular players like Cahill, who should be given the same amount of credit. You could make the same argument for him. Just because i do not inflate Willian performance does not mean i am demonizing him. A huge contrast. His second half was better then his first, but a minimal change. My post was meant to give a unique perspective my friend. Where can you(anyone) prove that Willian was as good as the majority here believe to be?
  22. Which Portugal club do you follow? if it is applicable
  23. Which Orange circle is bigger? Smh no love for our Defense in the second half of the season? I feel Hazard literally carried our team offensively, and match by match our defenders/GK(Tibo and Cech) one or another put in a MOTM performance. Our defense was so clutch it is criminal not put Azpi and Terry in the top 3 players of the second half of the season. The thing is most believe Hazard was better in the second half of the season, but that untrue. It is only perceived that way because Cesc, Costa, Matic, and Oscar were all playing great football in first half of our season. Cesc and Costa were both in the argument as Chelsea POTY. In the second half their form severely went down, but Hazard form stayed the same. Hazard performance didn't change in the second half, everyone else did. Hazard was not better in the second half, it is false perception we came to believe because everyone else was worse. You can never trust eyes. The answer to the circle question is they are both the same size. How can people be so sure of how well Willian played in the second half of the season? couldn't that be a trick of the mind, because how faulty comparison is sometime. Because context matters we compare things to everything else, not for what they really are. Couldn't you mistake a 6/10 looking chick for a 10 if you put her in a room a bunch looking fugly chicks? YES you can, i have and i know this concept very well. Btw i am not saying Willian is a bad guy looking dude that is not what i am getting at. Back to Willian how confident are you in your assessment? The stats doesn't say he was better at any important category if you want to bring up, but for some reason some think stats argument are weak and imaginary. Because there are outliers like Xavi and Ineista, that doesn't mean it is applicable to everyone. Some players are shit finishers and do not have an end product, it is that simple. Also the quote "There are three kind of lies: Lies, damned Lies, and statistics" has been falsely attributed to Mark Twain and Einstein. They never said that, people credit them when stats didn't back their argument. Stats are not everything all the time, but for FFS they happen and it is reality don't swap them down just because they don't back up your theory/agenda. Damn that is a long post, but if you read that thank you very much for your time.
