  1. Well i would say Madrid is a better match up for us. What is Mou strength? reactive and conservative football, that would have been an excellent approach against Madrid. Being reactive and conservative was awful approach against a 10 men PSG team, and they rightfully made us pay for it. Atletico is not easy team to counter against, they specialize in that. We all have comfort zone undoubtedly, and when we step out of it we don't do as well. For Mou is playing the underdog and reactive style, struggles when stepping out of that and when the situation asks for a more proactive approach.
  2. I am Chelsea fan first and foremost. I would rather see Willian and Oscar compete for the CAM position, whoever is better should play. Any way fantastic finish to the season for Willian, hopefully him or Oscar can Solidify that CAM position next season. A RW is a must, Griezmann would be my choice atm.
  3. I don't think Mou will sign another CB, unless Varane becomes available. He seems pretty contempt about our CB situation, but Varane is the only player he would not pass on since he rates him so highly. Tbh CB situation is fine in the short term at least, with Terry, Cahill, and Zouma.
  4. The Yaya comparison is quite lazy, this label is pretty much as lazy as labeling Lukaku as Drogba 2.0. Pogba is a different player from Yaya. Yaya is much more effective passing and can make a difference on the pitch with his passing, Pogba on the hand i have not seen it Pogba is more like an extremely talented version of Ramires, if you want a comparison to his style.
  5. Did he get sold or not? i thought i remember Florentine activating his clause to purchase him.
  6. Griezmann fits to this side like a glove, and it be quite beneficial for this team to have Willian/Oscar compete for the CAM role. There was a quote a few days ago from Mou saying there are rumors that exist regarding some players only to get them a better contract. The fact Jorge Mendes is Griezmann and Mou agent led me to believe that is the case. Also after Griezmann showing this season, he would absolutely demand a pay rise, he has risen beyond every expectation. Just a theory on my part.
  7. Agreed, they sold Pep on the idea Goetze was German own version of Neymar. Different players and different talent level. I would pass on Goetze for anything above 20m. I question his commitment to football atm and many do.
  8. I don't see it. Kaka was a freak of nature, his acceleration/speed was uncanny for a player with his technique. Coutinho is much better comparison. Damn the hate Oscar gets on this forum from some is ridiculous, you must be a Willian fanboy. Not that i think that highly of Oscar, but surely it doesn't take that much of a brain to realize that buying a player for 3m and turning into 25m+ is quite fantastic.
  9. Pep wanted Neymar, Bayern management wouldn't cough up the the necessary money to get him so the alternative was to offer Goetze to Pep. that is well known among Bayern supporters.
  10. Who is the best 10 in the world? Not that i think it is Oscar obviously.
  11. What did Willian do in 85 minutes on the pitch beside the last few minutes of good attacking play on the pitch?
  12. If they appeal it they wouldn't have to serve the ban immediately , just like Barca. I expect both teams to be busy this summer
  13. I wish to express my rebuttal on the openions that "we are a few players short to play the style we want." The truth is if you feel that we are a few players short to play the style we want, then it is never going to happen. This mentality exsist in every club, i have not come across any situation or club that felt they had every piece to enforce the style they want. Is there a club in the world that thinks they have every piece to enforce the style they want? The answer is absloutely no. Even the best side of the last ten years, the Barca side in their prime never had every piece or felt short on a few players. They needed to upgrade their CBs for years, and they still do. Before Suarez and Neymar, they never felt they had the optiomal forwards around Messi. Ibra, Villa, Pedro, and Sanchez were not adequate enough for one reason or another. Saying we are a few players short in order to play a proactive football, then with this mentality we will never play that style. Even if in the summer we do sign Pogba, Reus, and Varane. Which is unlikely imo but lets assume wo do for now. What is the excuse we are going to use when one of our key players get injured or out of form? oh yeah we are going to say we don't have the players to play with our foot in front. If we apply this mentality in real life is the equivalent of someone saying i will start start losing weight when (insert excuse) or someone saying i will stop smoking when (insert excuse). It doesn't matter the excuses are unlimited. Same unlimited excuses apply to Club football, we will never feel like we have every piece to play the style we want, we can always say we need this or that. The reasons to procrastinaite is unlimited. I am sorry to say this, but there is no chance Mou will change or we will have some sudden change of style. If you are fine with how we are playing then i can tolerate it in fact i can respect this view. Thinking othewise is delusional at this point, because there is not a shred of evidence to suggest otherwise.
