Juventus wanted to keep Morata, Madrid exercised their buy back clause. Stop lying.

Lukaku was scared to compete with Torres and a old man Eto'o, complete bs that he loves the club and he is a "proper Chelsea." Had no problem with him leaving for Eveton, because rightfully it was the best move for him individually. Him wanting to come back to Chelsea has nothing to do with with love for the club, he wants to come back to us because we are the PL champion and play CL football. He will be more or less like any player that signs for Chelsea. Also another lie you guys must stop telling yourselves, that is guaranteed he will be better at Chelsea then Everton due to being surrounded by better players and support. If that was the case he would thrive with Belgium but that is not the case. The list of strikers who have thrieved at a small club but failed at a big club is endless. I guess you guys would have used the same logic for Benteke too when he moved to Liverpool. Not Costa biggest fan, but it is undeniable how important he has been to us. It is important for Chelsea to take the next step and that is not happening with Lukaku as your main striker.
-
Are we going to be a better team with him though? Which is most important to me.
-
In comparison Diego Costa was the most important and decisive striker. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4447108/Chelsea-news-Diego-Costa-s-goals-earned-points.html

Why arent we pursuing Toby Alderweireld, if the rumors of him having a 25 release clause is true.
-
I would take him, undoubtedly the best RB of his generation and one of the greats of the game regardless of position. Despite his age he is still world class, key is managing his minutes and games. I think we can do that with Moses playing the easier fixtures while saving Alves for the important occasions. Would I prefer a signing like Nelson Semedo a rising star? Absolutely

When he was available at Porto, I wanted him badly. Lol the board targeted Baba instead. Sandro is the best LB in the world, can't believe some of you actually think Alonso would be competition for him.
-
To a certain point you could disagree and have a disscusion, calling Bakayoko "one of the most intelligent CM" is one of the most outlandish statement I have read here. Anyone who follows Monaco and have seen Bakayoko on more then YouTube would find your statement laughable.

I was on a sabbatical from the forum during the Alonso and Luiz saga. So not sure what was said. But I recall at the time I liked both signing to a degree. Always liked Luiz during his first spell and I liked that he was coming back. Alonso I thought he was solid, I still maintain that view. I don't think many would disagree, good player but not elite. I feel critiquing potential transfers and discussing Chelsea is not moaning. This is what the forum is about. But here you are who is doing the actual moaning, focused on others members rather then football topics.
-
How fun this forum would be if we all had the same sheepish mentality.
-
I have serious doubts about him, lacks the football IQ to be a great player. Imo he is likely to be on a similar level as Kondogbia and Moussa Sissoko.
-
Smart decision on his part, the fact Terry is still the only youth player to make it at Chelsea says more then enough. I believe this will become continuing trend for Acadamy graduates.
-
Personally would sell him, this feels a lot like the Tavez situation when he was at City. A player that wants to leave, and it will hover around him until he gets the transfer. Of course you don't sell him for the sake of selling, I would push to get fair deal(not 20m obviously) but ultimately it is best for both sides.

Rummenigge acused Boatang poor performances due to Jerome lifestyle early in the season, him being more concerned with his brand+PR rather then football. Boatang said he can "only laugh", and it is believed their relationship hasent been the same. Anyway Martinez and Hummels are preferred by Carlo, and they have signed a really promising CB in Sule. I get the sense they will sell him, maybe Barca.
-
There is a good chance he is sold, not sure where though. He has been third choice when available, also he had a falling out with Bayern management(Rummenigge).
-
The report has to be false, they paid more then that for Kévin Gameiro last season who is older and nowhere near as good as Costa.
-
According to reports he is flying to England to sign with Man City. Fullbacks are very important to Pep system, and that was a major weakness for them this season. Mendy will be a monster for them. Edit: LOL why would you think that? FB are fully appreciated under Pep, you could make an argument for CBs though.

Matic covers more ground and closes down space better. That is honestly all i can come up with. I would pick Cesc 9/10 over Matic.
-
Prefer if we play with 3 man midfield, which is the real solution.
-
Cesc might have done better, but the issue is very simple. 2 vs 3 midfield, Arsenal have the man advantage in midfield and they are winning that battle. This is the issue with the 3-4-3 and why i hope we move away our be more flexible in the future.
-
Not much bothered by missing out on B.Silva even though I rate him. 1) we were hardly linked with him. 2) there are plenty of good options out there. what bothers me a bit though is we are most consistently linked with Bakayoko and Lukaku, two players I can't get excited about. While City are strongly linked with Mendy, Fabinho, B.Silva, etc who I rate and enjoy watching.
-
So there is a chance? since both of us might have underestimated their incompetency.
-
Agreed. -Arsenal missing out on Cl first time in decades -Wenger extends his contract -Then Sell your best player to your biggest rival. Their fans might riot if they did that.
