Morata to Milan is just rumors. He is being currently being linked with United again. If 100% tax on transfers is true in China as part of new regulation, then Costa is not going anywhere.
-
What is your thoughts on bringing in Chris Smalling? He seems to be on his way out at ManU.
-
FWIW according to reports City are close to signing Fabinho for €35. if true that would be the best signing any of our rivals have made in recent years. Would love it if we sign Fabinho instead for midfield or RB/RWB.
-
This is false, you are equating mediocrity for hard/tough. The biggest difference between PL and other major leagues, is that they all have elite sides that are dominant. If any of Juve, Bayern, Barca, and Madrid were in the PL they would also convincingly win the league on a consistent basis. In comparison no team in this league is great, just good and sometime not even that. Look at our side that won the league two years and finished 10th last season. Or an average side like Leicester City won the league and finished 12th the next season. This is not examples of tough competition, it is examples of mediocrity.

If Batshuayi was at Everton instead of Lukaku they would be no worse if not better. In fact if I am Everton i would push for a Batshuayi+cash for Lukaku. Biggest robbery since Eto'o and Ibra transfer.
-
I think he will end up at Bayern, Seems like a win-win situation for Arsenal and Alexis. Arsenal will sell him outside of the PL, and Alexis joins a elite side.

If you are going to throw crazy money at any player, Verratti is one you consider doing so. Ultimately it comes down to Marco, PSG do not need the money. Does he wants to leave, and what is his preference destination? My guess Barcelona if moves away from PSG. Maybe a player like Jorginho would be much more realistic. He is a fantastic creative player and does his share defensively.

This reminds me of the flawed logic our rivals and fanbase used and a few years ago, "If Torres is worth 50m then scrub x player is definitely worth this obscene amount." If others acts thoughtlessly and insane then it is okay for us to do, this is a terrible argument but often cited by others and used as a justification. Pogba was world class when he left Juventus, wanted by many elite clubs and could walk into any midfield. You can't say the same thing about Lukaku. Pogba is not a pivot player, used incorrectly by Mourinho.
-
The more we are linked with Lukaku and the crazy amount being thrown around, the more I am falling in love wit Costa again honestly. Pls stay.
-
I actually see him as a very effective piece to this team. He solves a problem when Cesc is not on the pitch, outside of Hazard we have no one who can provide creativity and intelligence. And there is where James can be be very valuable to this team, he adds another spark and solution.
-
You guys are forgetting how good James is and can be and seriously underestimating him. He can play out wide he has done that his whole career. Porto, Monaco, and Real. Pretty much every modern CAM play out wide nowadays.
-
I don't think it is a guarntee we will play the same formation next season, Conte didn't plan on playing the 3-4-3 initially, ultimately chose it because it fitted his personals and team. No doubt he would change the formation If the situation is different. probably BS but it is believe Conte wants to bring in players to play 4-2-4. I think it was the guardian who ran the story.
-
You really think that is enough evidence to conclude that Conte wanted him at Juventus? hundred of players are linked to Chelsea every day, I guess we should conclude Chelsea wants every one of them too. Say Juventus did inquire about him; which is not impossible since Juve are very cheap and opportunistic, I could see them attempting Cuardado like loan-buy deal or whatever. One of the article talks about their pursue even after Conte resigned that summer. Even so you are making a unsubstantiated claim of Conte wanted him at Juventus.
-
He is not going to resign with Madrid in all likelihood; on a free transfer he would be a great addition. Still one of the best CB in the world.
-
He is incredible, i am not sure sure what i am more impressed by; his amazing talent or the fact he plays at high level despite many injuries during his career. injuries typically pile up on the body but not for Robben. Freak of nature. Also Julian Nagelsmann is tremendously talented young coach, hope they pass Dortmund and get automatic CL qualification
-
Saul Niguez and Jorginho are other quality midfielders that I would like to have at Chelsea.
-
Nainggolan is more likely, but easily i would prefer Verratti and i believe pretty much everyone on this forum would agree. Type of player that can take Chelsea to the next level. Huge fan of Adrien Rabiot too, one of my favorite B2B midfielders in the game.
-
For whatever it is the Madrid fans I know are convinced that Morata will play for Conte next season. Believing he has one foot out of the door and his girlfriend already relocated to London. They seem confident but I am not sure, I am skeptical of such certainty in the transfers market.

David Alaba or Alex Sandro as No.1 left wing-back targets?
Clockwork replied to nathangeorge99's topic in Transfer Archives
Yup Alex Telles or Benjamin Mendy are more realistic options and should be considered. -
Question is how much is he going to cost? I have seen him priced in the £50 range and as high as 63m. That is madness, for someone witch such low credentials and medium potential. Basically a high risk and low reward investment. At a reasonable price that changes something though.
-
With that loss pretty much secures the title for us. Disagree with the bottle narrative though, I do not believe Spurs bottled anything. They had won like 9 straight PL games before this loss. They made it a title race when a few months ago no one believed they were in the title race and made some Chelsea fans nervous. Even if they were completely perfect down the stretch they still needed us to lose one game and draw one game. This is not a bottle job imho.
-
forum mentality, either you are garbage or great no middle ground.
-
If we are signing another RF/RW then it would make sense to sell Willian. Pedro is the better player, and he is more versatile too. Can play ST, RW/LW, and WB. That is a surprise for me initially I thought Willian could be versatile to play WB but Conte has played Pedro in those rare occasions.

The problem with this analysis is that a few things needs to be considered. The majority of those minutes comes from Real easiest games when Benz is rested or games is in control where the opposition is most vulnerable to a beat down. Those numbers are skewed quite a bit. You also have Luxury of more goal scoring opportunities at Real Madrid His goal records at Juventus should also be looked at it, gives more complete picture. I do like Morata and at a reasonable price i would welcome him, but I have doubt if he can carry the goal scoring load. He does a lot of good things on the pitch so I understand why Conte likes him.
