I'm sure if I could stay awake to watch the manure game last night I can stay up to watch ours an hour earlier. Ive got a touch of apathy so far and Im not caring if we win or not in these friendlies. I normally think its a great time to experiment with formations, testing out new players and helping them gel and settle in. But as we dont have any upto now we can all pretty much say what our normal starting 11 will be. So when Mou said a number of times last pre season he LOVED having problems with team selection lets see shall we. I know the only game thats going to shake me up is those north London gits.

While I dont dislike neither Mikel nor Rami I would upgrade and sell them both in a flash! Its all about the team and if upgrading them does it then what are we waiting for?

I agree mate. RLC seems to be one of Mous personal projects just like Falcao. People are jumping on the RLC hype train and all the lad has played is a few minutes. Hes not getting any experience (opposite to Bamfordino) trotting out for 8 minutes and watching the game from the bench. He would have done himaself and us much more good getting top class playing time elsewhere and trying again next season. Or is it just because hes HG hes with us and easy to control as a kid? Im sorry to say bruv I'm with you. IF I was a young player full of prospect and skills unless I was promised a 1st team spot there wouldnt be a chance on earth I would sign for us.I know we as a club have found that its possible to make a few quid on the loanagoround IF they get media attention but the likelyhood of the playing in Chelsea blue is very limited. We would have much better chances to keep them for their 1st year, give them a FAIR go, and see how it went then. Ive been trying to think of young players we have brought in, played them for years and made money on their sales that way.

We do need a GOOD CB, one who willl take JTs place next season, What I would so is to properly rotate both Zouma/Cahill and Stones/JT so Zouma and Stones can learn to be a team. These 2 lads are a couple of the best defenders in England and both with world class potential and our 'rock' for the next 10 years. We cant loan Happy out its a ridiculous thought. Hes better than Cahill as it is hes just not got the experience yet nor has he got HG next to his name. I I can understabd the one in one out as well --- but WTF cant we bring one in FIRST then ship one out?? Doesnt that make sense too? We would at least have players we do seriously need. Its not like we are asking for Messi/CR7 etc. Bringing in Aranguiz and/or Witsel would help our central midfield enormously. as for not wanting to jepardize the balance and chemistry bringing in players always does that but these are serious professional footballers who should be able to adapt. They have players here that speak their own language and would obviously be of help and support to them. I cant see a problem. What I cant understand is why Mou is content with what we have now. Its mind shattering..

Cescy as a number 10 just doesn't work. He is adeep playmaker and he himself is happy there being the brains and eyes behind the moves. Thats what made such a big difference to us the start of last year. The thing is we really dont have anyone to use as a number 10 and this is a problem. Ozil would be great for us.

I bloody hope so. Maybe hes just trying to punk everyone and in the last week he is going to give us a couple of upgrades. We ain't asking for household names that cost a arm and a leg but if he gives us a Witsel or an Aránguiz, and a RAM upgrade or maybe a proper number 10 it would put a smile on everyones faces and do the world for strengthening the squad.

Why havent we at least tried for Varane? I do think tho if we pay over £25 he should take Cahills place and then give Happy some games instead of JT Amazing how we only paid £23 mill for our back 4.

I do really love the lad. He has flashs of sheer brilliance. The work he puts in upfield defending I think is the reason Mou heeps him on. But you must agree we do need him to give more offensively. He just doesnt do a number 10 job (and I dont think Willian can neither) I would be over the moon if he went out this year and really did everyones heads in. But we have been saying the same thing each season now and I dont know how much longer we should give him. But we will be shouting him on as always so lets see what the lad can do.

I havent read anywhere about Mikel leaving (unfortunately). And as he is supposedly used to shut down games it didnt work on a few occasions, normally away games, when opposition scored in final minutes. Im sorry, Im just not understanding our reasoning this summer. If Mou was to come out and say look we really do need to go in a different direction because the new stadiums going to cost a fortune and we need to penny pinch I could understand it. But to (apparently) not go for a quite cheap Wisel and or Aranguiz that would both do a very good job yet people are ok to look at this guy, then thats summet I dont get.

So its ok to bring in a 35 year old hasbeen that wont really help us at all but not go out and buy a world class player that would help us immensely?

Been catching up on 1st football for a few weeks. Think Costa is going to be great. He was one (if not) the best player on the pith today. Bayern were all over Inter. Should be couple of good games on at 4am GMT. Manure vs San Jose and Barca vs LA Galaxy. Should be interesting but dificult to watch 2 TVs at that time in the morning.
