Well it doesnt look like square is going anywhere with the shops looking to cash in by us putting another number on his back. Which probably means Pedro or any other RAM will be coming which is sad. I know players dont always settle in at the same pace both team wise and their normal lives and who knows how he would do if he got more playing time. But IMHO at his best he is a mirror copy of Willian. This just makes him a good prospect. The thing is we have so many players that we are taking gambles on and hoping they will come good. Cuadrado, will he offer anything different to what we already have even IF he comes right. Oscar, hoping he wont go into hibernation once the new year approaches and he manages to make more offensive contributions as thats what he is paid for. Willian, similar to Willian but hopefullyawake at the start of the season. (I would be happy if we could use them both as one player. Oscar till end of Dec and Willian after it.) Cahill,shakey,lost and nervous for alot of the season and looked physically a shadow of his usual self. Looked very similar to Schurrle alot of the time. Bane, defensively absent and goes roaming up field alot and as hes not the fastest of players he left Cahill even more nervous. Not a common thought I know but I like each of them and they all offer a little something to the team and I would happily keep most of them for depth. But I would also jump at the chance if we had the opportunity to upgrade any or all of them.

Filipe included we have 4 of our back line on yearly renewable contracts. We also have a need for HG players. With top class Chelsea standard HG players a rare commodity Stones seems to me as a no brainer.No I wouldnt want him if it meant us losing Zouma (I'm already getting shakes thinking he might go out on loan) But I think if we are giving up on getting Varane, who I dearly want to team with Zouma, then getting Stones for a few quid more than we should pay I can live with.

Honestly each time I watch that penalty shoot out I feel all the emotions I went thru on the night all over again. Going from us all just looking at each other with dumb blank expressions to it being a big mass of happy bouncy people. But I'd never felt as confident someone getting a penalty even with that being probably the 2nd to most nerve shattering one someone could take as when Drogs went forward to take that. I dont think I will go thru lower lows and higher highs over such a short period as a Chelsea supporter ever again.

Pedro is just one of a list of players that I personally wouldnt mind us at all signing. We have a handfull of positions that while they are by no way crap I would be happier if we could upgrade them. Of course I would prefer some over others but I wouldnt be pissed off too long if we didn't get them. All I want us to do is to always have a better year than the year before. No bloody point in argueing about summet thats not happened yet. Lets leave it and we can do loadsa finger wagging and raspberry blowing next June.

Frankie baby is one of those players that nobodys got a bad word to say about him which we all know is bloody rare even amonst our own supporters. And thats why it hurt us so much the way he left It felt like he snuck out of the side gates and didn't turn back to give us a wave. We didn't have any closure. I would still love to know the truth over his contract. Mou tells us he was offered the same one as JT (and Cole) yet Pelligrino says he wasn't. Whatever it would have been great to have had a testimonial for him. I'm sure JTs will be a cracker.

Agree with all you say. And the problem is with coming to a 'top club',maybe moreso us I dunno, but unless you hit the ground running and you make yourself useful you wont be around very long which is a shame because as we know its not always easy settling in personal or team wise. I would like to think he could do very good with Matic.

I know he wasn't at his best this season and TBH I would have preferred if he hadn't come back but I absolutely loved the lad and will never forget his time with us. This picture shows everything that he was. Just look at everyones faces.

I hear what you say hes not the biggest built lad but at the same time he's 3 inches taller than Oscar. I'm really not sure whats the best thing FOR US NOT HIM to do.
