So has all thoughts of us getting Bale disappeared then?

It is natural I suppose considering the progress the lads made for supporters to wonder just what a players got to do before given a chance to prove himself.

Our problem is that the players we like and the ones the powers that be buys dont often match. For whatever reasons. It would be very interesting if the Chelsea management was turned over to the supporters to be run in a forum basis and all decisions to be decided via one big poll.

He did have some demons going on in that final for sure. But I'd love him.

I suppose we all have different scales of success. Playing a few times and being sold or loaned out and sold within a short time doesnt strike me as much of one I'm sorry to say. I know we put alot of pressure on new signings to make an impression straight away but its because we have a small squad and Mous not liking too much of a rotation so it makes it all the more important for us to get it right. Which is a shame sometimes because we all know players sometimes take another season to settle in. Its difficult enough changing clubs in the same country but add families,langages,media etc into the deal and its not easy. But we know too that if your face doesn't fit or your'e not one of Mous styles then youre out.

Im not hating the lad as we know hes got or had good skills once. For whatever reasons hes not been setting the world on fire has he. Ive been thinking which always worries me Mous transfer history with us has been a bit hit and miss. A handfull of amazing world class lads but alot that really didnt make any mark at all with us. Let me play devils advocate for a minute. Im wondering if Pedro and Falcao are just projects for Mou. Is it a case of him wanting to be seen as being right in signing them after they kinda failed at present. Neither of them are the players we need. Ones that can walk into the 1st team and help shake the side up offering us creativity and some real dynamics. I thought Chelsea was going to be Mous project but these two guys just make it look like his personal ones. I really hope at the end of the season I am proven full of shit it would make me happy.

For me Cescy has been best deep playmaker and hasn't been near as good where we should have a proper number 10.

With Roman supposedly flying out to do the old pals act to get Witsel where does this leave us with Aranguiz?

Ive seen some funny ones of us getting Falcao too.

I know its not the thread for it but Lolpool the city in general must have amazing publicists and spin Drs. They are portrayed as fun loving,jokey full of life and they truly are like we all know. But that goes the same for their team. Theyve changed so much from the team I grew up watching old games of to how they are now. They make it difficult to be civil about them.

Mate please believe me when I say I do detest them. Apart from having had ummm personal experiences with them they have a holier than thou attitude like butter wouldn't melt then go singing about Munich. Maybe I have some character flaws but I hate the gooners with a passion. Its not so much the CS but I would feel a physical pain losing to them and its an awful way to start the season with the herd kicking our arses.

This is where peoples opinions can differ so much Theres some amongst us that dont think we can improve on Mikel. and others that dont think its important to beat our north London neighbours in the CS.

Mate we goota keep dreamin. If we dont try to get the best players we can get, and the quality we deserve then we will never get them and some other lot will. Whats your name Rob Beasley? Someones gonna get these guys why do people want us not to fuckin bother trying for? I know we aren't a magnet for the 'top players' but if we talk and act like we dont give a shit why would they want to come to us? You want us to be a club just buys lads to send straight out on loan? Keep guys that are just ok that do a ok job? Or get the guys that everyones after that could walk into our 1st team and make a difference for us. Course its not easy to get these guys cause everyone with any sense wants them but if we dont put our hands in our pockets and at least try to buy them we wont ever know.

Its difficult to go knocking some supporters for something our own have done to various ex players. Theyres twats at every club unfortunately. And I think we were total fools for not signing the lad. I hope this doesnt turn round and bite our bright shiney blue arses.

Fellaini IS good and getting someone even better arguably will do them no harm whatsoever. The thing I hope we do see is replacing Cahill with Zouma pretty nifty cause he had Fellaini wrapped up. Is anyone else joining me getting nervous yet or am I still on my Jack?

No doubting hes good and I like him but what I dont get is why would he come here? The reason hes pissed off now is lack of playing time and unless he walks into the 1st team or given insurances by Mou which is very unlikely then hes going to be in the same boat here.
