  1. I like Inter's new away from Nike. It would be nice with a Chelsea badge on it.
  2. I didn't read it the same way
  3. Oh, FFS. The ESPN commentator first calls Bats RLC, now he keeps calling him Chalobah
  4. Boring is different from lazy. I personally never call a kit boring, as I tend to like simple, classy looking kits. However, it's lazy to keep the same template and just swap the colors when Adidas has how many combinations available? This for one or the brand's highest shirt sellers in its last season.
  5. So they just take the home strip, flip the colors and take away the lions? Talk about being lazy
  6. I like it, for a non-traditional style. Interesting that there's no stripes on the shorts.
  7. Very convenient that it's just 3 months under the cutoff for serving jail time.
  8. I didn't say I knew what formation he's using. I'm saying that's the one of the only ways selling Hazard makes some sort of sense
  9. Trying to find a way that this would make sense (as it really doesn't). I can only see one way: The formation Conte wants to employ has no room for Hazard in it. If he needs his wings to play as attacking wingers AND defensive wingers, Hazard doesn't fit the bill. If he wants to play with 2 strikers, Hazard doesn't quite fit the bill. Still, Hazard is too good of a talent to just ship off.
  10. I just hope Belgium are knocked out as soon as possible so he can get some more rest.
  11. Quit with the negotiation games and just offer the highest the club is willing to pay for him. If they say no, move on and get to work on the other players you're looking at.
  12. Most of the betting odds I've seen are displayed in a different way, the moneyline. 1/3 odds are -300 and 11/2 odds are +550.
  13. Since I'm not that adept at betting, for me, it depends on the odds of the other option. I'm looking at an article that has Skybet for 1/9 to Remain and 11/2 to leave. That means for every £9 put down, you win £1. On the other hand, if you bet £2 to leave, you can win £11. Looking at those comparisons, you can tell which one is the favorite, and it's a pretty big difference.
  14. The only reason United are linked is because they are being linked with nearly every player available. Mourinho coming in and have lots of money to throw around. It's the nature of the rumor mill.
  15. Someone once told me that it was put into the Bill of Rights to allow states to have militias. Back when the country was created, the armies that fought in the Revolutionary War were disbanded, because the founders did not trust having a standing army in a new country, fearing they could easily seize power. Instead, they wrote the second amendment to give the states power of militias made up of civilians in order to fight if need be. In order to have militias, they need weapons so it was written that they have the right to bear arms so that no government entity could effectively disarm these militias. Hence: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." It's impossible to know what James Madison intended in today's current use. Language has changed, so what was meant back then may not be what it means today. Would he have known that the United States would be the military force that it is today, effectively taking away the need for a militia? Would he think that armed civilians are necessary to "keep the government in line?" We don't know, and we'll never know. What I do know is that the most contentious phrase in the second amendment is "shall not be infringed." What does that mean? Should anyone and everyone be allowed to purchase a gun? That's not the case as felons aren't allowed to have guns. So, if it's not a right given to every citizen of the US, is it then a privilege, not a "god given right" that so many supporters say it is? If it's a god given right, shouldn't god be the only one to take away that right, not the US government? If only I had a time machine...
  16. That's the ideal, but I have yet to see the club take this stance.
  17. Wasn't there a rumor that someone would be brought in to work specifically with Courtois?
  18. It but he's a difference maker on a team full of stars and the focal point of a team without as much star power.
  19. He didn't say he wants to leave this summer, and neither did the article writer. I think the writer just said that, after just one season at Chelsea, he's talked about moving back, not that he's talked about moving back this summer.
  20. I don't want Ibrahimovic. I just don't want him at United.
  21. Conte was great yesterday, but let's not forget, this Italian team is all in. They all want to win and they all have the drive. They are all bought into what Conte wants. It will be completely different here if our players don't completely buy into Conte.
  22. I don't know much, but from what I've read, firing would be easier for employers and work hour limits would be relaxed, making overtime pay potentially less.
