  1. Weird as he just said that he's comfortable in Dortmund and is looking forward to next season. He explained the meetings he had during the Gabon games were with Dortmund to discuss the future of the club in the wake of losing Hummels (and most likely Gundogan). I don't buy it, but DiMarzio are usually reputable. The only thing I can see is if City came in with a massive bid and Dortmund found it hard to say no to that kind of money. Not to mention losing 4 key players (Mhikitarian is also rumored to leave) would be absolutely insane from Dortmund. http://www.fussballtransfers.com/bundesliga/aubameyang-zu-gast-bei-ft_65513
  2. Did he start as a CB and move to DM?
  3. The window isn't even officially open yet. It's not like the club have been completely quiet. There's substantial rumors every week. Use June to continue those talks and get arrangements in place and then sign them when the window opens. The only time we should be worried is if we have no signings halfway through July.
  4. Hector almost scores https://twitter.com/EnglishLeagueBR/status/739584769147670528?s=09
  5. Hector and the Jamaica defense not faring well against Venezuela.
  6. Michael Hector is starting for Jamaica against Venezuela in Copa America.
  7. Nemeth played for my hometown team last season and did really well, but we wouldn't give him the money he wanted so he went off to a Qatari club. I wonder if he'll see any minutes .
  8. I tuned out 5 minutes after tuning in. Both teams just want to get to France.
  9. Just tuned in after the last goal. How is Rüdiger doing?
  10. You can't judge on YouTube videos. You have to watch full matches to see how he does throughout the course of 90 minutes. That said, I haven't seen anything from either.
  11. This "golden generation" will not win anything. I haven't seen anything on the pitch that has made me think that they will.
  12. Every single person in football has a loyalty to himself over a club. It's crazy to think otherwise. This club sacked him and he took a job that everyone knew he's wanted for years. His loyalty is to his employer and he's going to say things to get the club and its supporters behind him. His management style requires that. Chelsea will always mean a lot to him, but all this talk about him owing something to Chelsea and its supporters is nonsense.
  13. Get ready to see it. Chelsea supporters will be watching Conte with a microscope.
  14. No more quarter-final replays for the FA Cup starting in 2017. http://www.thefa.com/news/the-fa-cup/2016/may/quarter-final-sudden-death-replays Not sure if by "sudden death" they mean first goal wins or if it's the regular extra-time and penalties.
  15. I don't think what he said is a hint or anything. It could simply be the truth (look at the way the things our Belgians have said have been interpreted). He spent time at a club where winning titles was expected. A lot of players get this drive throughout their careers.
  16. Yet Diego Costa is the horrible one in football
  17. Arsenal didn't lose Nike. They changed to Puma because Puma provided them with the (at the time) largest contract in Britain. Same goes for Liverpool when they went with Warrior. Neither club "lost" their sponsor because they were shit. But please, don't let facts get in the way of your agenda.
  18. The problem with CB's is the bad matches are more visible than good matches. He's a good backup, and with a more solid unit, he can be an even better backup. Plus, he helps with the number of English players in the squad, something that needs to improve. Unless someone wants to give a good offer for him, I say keep him.
  19. Really worried he'll be go on a permanent deal in an effort to balance the books for a more experienced fullback. If he's not gone before pre-season, at least give him the chance to show he can play for this team.
  20. I would say overrated in the sense that he keeps playing despite his performances. If Conte can get him to be more tactically aware, I can see Oscar becoming a valuable substitute to come into matches and make an impact. Let's not forget that he's 24. He's not old, but he's not young anymore. I give him this season to develop some intelligence and if that doesn't happen, it'll be time to ship him out.
  21. The Euros is a tournament, not a weekly grind like the league. Not to mention, it's not the same group of players that he'll be managing here. What he does in the Euros will have no bearing on what he'll do next season, unless you look at in-game adjustments. Even then, it's not the same players and not the same circumstances.
  22. You've got the glorified friendly tournament, Copa America Centenario, to look forward to as well
  23. Make that plain blue with a white collar and white piping on the sleeves and hell yes I would.
