  1. Probably a mockup from a couple years ago, back when we had Samsung. There won't be anything real 8-10 months. When a deal is struck, we'll know who will be the manufacturer. Shop owners will have an idea of what the kits will look like about 6 months before they go on sale. Around then is when we may start to see leaks, but there won't be anything official until (I'm guessing) mid-summer next year. When the Samsung deal ran out, we had to wait a few extra months for the official unveiling of the first Yokohama kit.
  2. This is going one of two ways. He is either staying or he told the board to sod off pissed them off.
  3. Right now, Nike and Adidas are no doubt the top two brands, but Nike used to be a nothing brand in football. It wasn't until recently that they gained the prestige they have today. That was due to sponsorships of big players, big clubs, and the money to afford to be able to have revolutionary products. UA has been doing this in the United States and potentially has the money to attempt this worldwide. You know those compression shirts that players are all of a sudden wearing under their kits? UA made that popular. It takes time for a brand to establish themselves, but if there's one brand that has a great chance at breaking this Nike/Adidas thing, it's UA. I don't like their kits and hope we get Nike, but to assume that us signing with UA has the same impact as us signing with a company like Errea is completely false and completely stupid. UA have the money and they have the potential to break into the market.
  4. Nike makes the NFL's uniforms Nike sold Umbro off a few years ago after taking a few of the teams.
  5. I was listening to a podcast where the hosts talked to a shop owner here in the US. I don't know how it is around the rest of the world, but he said Manchester City shirts are the least popular of the "big clubs". Perhaps their success on the pitch isn't translating to success in shirt sales.
  6. What has this club done to make you think they don't value money over anything else? I don't think people think any less of Arsenal since they switched to Puma. Maybe for footballing reasons but not because of their kit sponsor.
  7. Believe me, I'm not excited for Under Armour either, but it could be worse. Just imagine this in Chelsea blue with a Chelsea badge. It'd be much better than the shit we're getting next season.
  8. $$$$ means more than design Under Armour has been making real strides to compete with Nike. They've already jumped Adidas in the US, have signed some top American athletes to lucrative deals and have been looking to get more into international markets. In the past, they've been reliant on their compression gear, and if I remember correctly, even an executive admitted that they're too reliant on cold weather for sales. Signing one of the most popular clubs in the world to a good kit deal would do wonders for establishing Under Armour as a more powerful sportswear brand.
  9. Wish it would have been Sunderland instead of Norwich going down.
  10. John Terry to be told by club that Chelsea career is over
  11. People would complain that it's too plain, but I think it's nice. Switch the socks and I think it'd be a nice, simple kit.
  12. Maybe they are giving us a discount on the buyout in exchange for wearing the kits no one else in the world (except Russia) agreed to wear.
  13. I can see it being Nike. With City being the only Premier League club, they're losing kit ground in England.
  14. Adidas probably went behind Chelsea's back to release this shit pile of a kit WHS, right again
  15. Honestly, these matches are no more important to me than the pre-season friendlies. The season ended after the Spurs match for me. There's no club in the world I hate more than Liverpool, and I just can't find a care to give for this match.
  16. If you're prone to aggression, I would lock myself in a padded room for this match.
  17. Perfer either Brighton and Hove Albion or Sheffield Wednesday to be promoted. Never seen either one in the Premier League (I suppose no ones seen Brighton and Hove).
  18. There's no two teams I hate more than Spurs and Liverpool, but look at them lately. Since Klopp has come to Liverpool, there's a soul back at that club. There's optimism for the future and a buzz around the city that hasn't been felt since the Rafa days. Spurs have put a good manager in place with a view of the future, backed by some great young players.
  19. Is there any precedence for this? I can't remember a player being suspended due to eye-gouging, so I don't know if this is appropriate or not. That said, Suarez got 10 games for the Ivanovic bite.
  20. These have been the 'leaks' for the away and third. Aside from a few minor details, the home was pretty correct. Away: Third or
  21. They've won 4 total, 2 in 2006 and 2007 and 2 in 2014 and 2015. That's probably where. Looking at the winners, there's more reason to not want Liverpool to win it. They would tie Sevilla for number of wins at 4.
  22. Hell no, I hope those scum get embarrassed off the pitch today. Nothing would make me happier than hearing the collective groans followed by moments of silence in disbelief at the utter shit that's on show. Those supporters deserve only that and I hope Villareal give it to them.
  23. Uh, they've only won it the last two years. The year before those was our Europa League win and the year before that was Atletico Madrid.
