  1. United just got Mourinho'ed. 37 shots and the bulk of possession and nothing to show for it. Looks like Mourinho needs to take some pointers from Ginger Mourinho.
  2. It didn't work last season, and it's not working so far for United, but something obviously worked in 2015. Maybe they won in spite of Mourinho, but I believe it takes the whole club to win a league title. Just as I blame him for much of what happened last season, I still give him much credit for winning the league. Aside from that, I'm just glad we've moved on and are looking much better than United. Last weekend made it pretty obvious that Mourinho's tactics were a major culprit last season.
  3. I think thats a bit of an overstatement. I mean, we did win the league just two seasons ago.
  4. I remember seeing a shot of him looking pissy on the bench.
  5. So this is what it felt like to play against us last season.
  6. I believe there will be around 4,000 homes and some more office space.
  7. For those who wanted the Battersea Power Station move, Apple has moved there instead. http://www.businessinsider.com/apple-battersea-power-station-london-2016-10/#located-in-southwest-london-thebattersea-power-station-borders-the-thames-river-1
  8. I'm sure Barrow's reaction didn't help the case when it happened live. I totally agree with you.
  9. I didn't see it live, so I don't know where the referee was, but my first reaction was that it was cynical, he had no chance of winning the ball and he kicked out at a player that had beaten him. Then you get Barrow going down the way he did. It looked worse than it was. im guessing it'll be successfully appealed.
  10. I really hope so, but I'll believe it when I see it. I have full faith in the club hierarchy when it comes to making money. It's spending money that I'm worried about.
  11. Kitbag sent me an email to say the whole Chelsea range is 20% off. Says its an email exclusive.
  12. After receiving criticism for cutting the Spanish away shirt, Gerard Pique is quitting the Spanish National Team after the next World Cup. The new Spanish away shirt has a "Spainsh flag detail" on the sleeve piping, but to me, it just looks like red/yellow piping. In reality, he just cut he sleeves on a long sleeve shirt that doesn't have the red/yellow piping. But the early backlash was the final straw for him. A public supporter of Catalonia's indepndence, he is not new to criticism from parts of the Spanish supporters. This made me think of Megan Rapinoe, a United States Women's player who has recently knelt during the national anthem for both her club and country. For those who aren't aware, a number of American athletes are kneeling during the national anthem in protest of the injustice that certain parts of the American populace experience. The protest have been met with much resistance and criticism, but the protests continue to happen every weekend over here. My question is what level of "respect" for your country is expected when appearing for your national team? What would be the reaction if an English National Team player protested the queen while called up?
  13. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgians However, Iberia is not the same as Iberian Peninsula. I don't think they come from a common civilization; however, with all of the different groups inside of Spain, I didn't look to see if any of them share similarities with Georgians.
  14. Same for me. It sucks because I get a spam popup every other time I get on the site from my phone and have to close and reload.
  15. I'm sure it has something to do with it. There are going to be a whole bunch of new Swansea fans in America. We're a country that loves to buy merchandise and pay crazy ticket prices to go see preseason friendlies. Outside of that, there's going to be a ton of interest in Swansea and Bradley just from an American soccer standpoint. I'm sure most American soccer fans will be paying attention to how it all goes. He was our national team manager that was both loved and loathed, and here, it's the general consensus that he's a great guy, and great coach that has taken the long way to the "top".
  16. Personally, I'm really excited for an American to get a chance in the Premier League. I always respected Bradley when he was the USMNT coach. A little bit of background on Bradley: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/soccer-insider/wp/2016/10/05/bob-bradley-blazes-a-trail-for-u-s-soccer-in-premier-league-but-he-could-get-burned/
  17. Just goes to show that no one in the league is untouchable and we're not out of anything yet. Everyone is capable of losing.
  18. Nine points from three before the first international break Four points from four between the international breaks
  19. We'll have to get used to it. All of the big Nike clubs share the same template for third kits, and most of them aren't much better. PSG seems to get special treatment. I liked the thirds they have, with the iridescent crest Speaking of PSG, Cavani looks to be doing the job of replacing Ibrahimovic up front. 2 in 2
  20. Thorgan Hazard scores against Barcelona while Eden sits at home on the couch.
  21. Yes and no i can't say anything about Atletico because I don't really follow them, but the big money players weren't expensive when they were signed. Aubameyang was only €13m. Schürrle's €30m transfer is the record. They do spend money, but it's spread through a few really great prospects instead of one or two big name signings.
  22. Schürrle makes it 2-2. I always liked him.
  23. The way Dortmund plays really keeps the match open. This is exciting stuff.
  24. This may be the worst defensive performance I've ever seen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
