There is a reason why Fabregas is always ahead of Mata in national team and Barcelona went for him instead of Mata while they were at Valencia and Arsenal respectively. Also Fabregas was considered to be the best CM in the league during a couple of seasons, Mata while great were only considered one of the best, often behind David Silva.

Mata and Luiz didn't want to leave, we just sold them because we found better options and have too good to turn down offers for them. The same might be happening to Oscar, he even admitted he has held talk with PSG before.

Yep that is how the club works, once we identify a better player and affordable we replace them with the new players. Just because we have a good squad atm doesn't mean they will be going for the next 5-10 years. For example Diego Costa might break his leg in Xmas, out for 6 months and comeback as a new Torres. Do we keep him as well or sign Cavani for example who is available for 30m? The club is improving all the times and all the players are nothing more than employees, just ask Mata and Luiz. If Jose get sacked next year and Klopp came in, insisting on buying Reus to replace Oscar, do we let him? Of course we do... This idea is different from Real Madrid, who just buy super stars every summer no matter how good of a season the previous player had. They are run differently from us.

More like PSG cannot sign him because they blew their whole budget on Luiz. Next summer we will see if PSG come in again and if Reus wants to leave I hope they do so we can sign him. No matter how good Oscar gets Reus will always be better

It already is, doubt any team can beat us convincingly atm, we are capable of going toe to toe witht Real, Barca and Bayern now. IF we lose it will be really close margin and not battered 4-0 like Barca and Bayern for the last 2 seasons against better teams.

Somehow I can see him excelling at a team like Spurs or Everton a couple of years down the line. Looks like that is the sort of level he will reach at his peak at this rate, don't think he will ever reach super star status.

Doubt he will sign anything from now to maybe next summer, it will all depends how often he is used. My guess is he expects to play 95% of all games, which he probably will.

Oh I know we just got Lukaku money too, it is not the fee I am talking about but the whole package. He will get at least 150k per week too as he is on 180k atm for PSG after taxes, with Costa/Hazard and Torres all on that it is impossible for us to afford that. If we sell Torres to Atletico then it makes sense but not while he is still at the club.

Doubt they will sell for anything less than 70m euros considering they paid 60m last summer. Even Cech we would need to add around 45-50m. Not mention we mugged them off with Luiz, they will have that in mind too. So unless we are selling Oscar too I doubt we can afford it.

Yh ever since PSG started throwing money around now a top world class player is 50m min.

Also scored winner a year later... he is argubably one of the best Dutch player in history, certainly top 20 already and you are calling him overrated. Also one of the best winger in the world atm despite being 30 and injury prone his whole career, that is impressive.
