  1. Perfectly said, if he has always been the nice guy everyone says he is, he will do it. Or maybe he is just another Cole/Lampard under AVB who sulks when things doesn't go his way? Tbf over the last 10 years he has never been challenged properly, now there is a clearly better player willing to compete with him and if he decides his ego is too big for that then he has to go no matter if he is a legend or not. This is similar with the Torres-Drogba situation but Drogba was much better than Torres at the time so he won in the end, but for example if back then Drogba was competing with Falcao/Cavani/Suarez/Aguero/Messi I am sure he probably wouldn't have been able to win.
  2. He will do that, but by earning a place it doesn't mean sitting for a couple of years on the bench until Cech injured his ankle or something. Well tbf if we go on a 10 games unbeaten run with our great defence and Cech is in goal, how is Courtois going to get in? do we have to lose 3-0 suddenty? Obviously he will not agree to comeback because there are teams(some are better than us atm) who will guarantee him starting spots. Also a GK rotation isn't really the same as player rotation, you really can't excel at training over one another. There is really not much tactic for the GK apart from coming out and collecting appropriate crosses or aims his goal kicks unlike a outfield player who might fit the manager's tactic ideas more...etc.
  3. He could play in all 3 CAM position so yh wherever it is while Oscar is really only excel at middle, that is why I think Sanchez is a better player. Hope Oscar can prove me wrong next season but atm it seems he just isn't up to it physically
  4. Starting with getting beaten by Pastore at the near post which nearly sent us out of CL while Courtois got beaten at the same position when Sanchez scored a cracker on the edge of the box and no keeper in the world would have saved.
  5. If it means selling Oscar to PSG for 40m and getting this guy for 25m I would do it and move Hazard/Willian to the middle. Beast of a player.
  6. No shit, obviously he would want to play all the time because at any other club than Chelsea HE WILL PLAY ALL THE TIME. Yes I am looking at some of the best clubs in the world atm like Dortmund, Atletico, Barca...etc who would all love him. The only team where he might struggle to start is Real Madrid or Bayern Munich. He doesn't own the club anything, he wants to play and he should be playing considering he is probably the best GK in the world atm. If Costa comes will he have to fight with Torres(if he stays) over a starting place? or did Matic have to with Mikel?
  7. Will be awkward if Lukaku somehow plays for Arsenal or Spurs, would you still want him to score 10+ goals? Also Ramires is really unlikely to return to 11-12 form because now he needs to change his style and make himself more of a CDM than a box to box like he used to.
  8. The only youngster who stands any chance of play time is Zouma and he might not even be here at the club(loan to other team). I wouldn't count on playing time for the likes of Kalas, Loftus Cheek or whoever get much playing time because next season is very important for Jose and his future, the expectation/requirement of league title means there isn't really much room for experiment unless we already won the league by March like MU last year or something.
  9. To replace Luiz who is going to Barca/Bayern/PSG . Naaa in all fairness he is gonna stay at MU so it is pointless, but Luiz is leaving though.
  10. http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/atletico-madrid/transfer-talk/news/courtois-hints-at-atletico-departure_155677.html Pretty much official now that he will be back next season for us unless something dramatic happens. I also think Cech might have played his last meaningful game for Chelsea as well, he might not even be at the club next season.
  11. Might as well start a thread for Chris Smalling too or Tom Cleverley
  12. He has already been included in the squad so he is going regardless of Costa
  13. I am surprised that there is no topic for this guy, especially considering he is still one of the best winger in the world and Barca are clearly interested in selling him. We could even get him in a swap with Luiz somehow, which is even more great. Anyway post your opinions or rumors about him. Btw, he scored a cracker yesterday against Atletico too. Here are some rumors with him atm, surprised that Liverpool being mentioned: http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/379319/EXCLUSIVE-Liverpool-chasing-Barcelona-star-Alexis-Sanchez http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/10836784/Barcelona-offer-Alex-Song-to-Chelsea-as-part-of-David-Luiz-swap-deal.html
  14. We are gonna sell him to PSG outright for 30m so don't get excited
  15. If he wins the CL it will be super awkward on paper if he and Costa play for us next season. On theory 2 of their best players would be living a league and CL winner just to play for another team who is attempting to do the same. Football is funny
  16. Basically players who doesn't have a 'angel' personality aka Mata type will get hated for these type of reasons which annoy me. They are all players who are hated by other clubs, but if they were available anyone would have them. Yes by 'cunt' people are referring to their antics on the pitch or personality which isn't right. I understand if people hate a player but using it to cloud their judgements of the player's ability is not OK.
  17. Imagine this injury means he will miss the WC and the chance to move to Chelsea. Wow that is a massive blow.
  18. Dortmund all over again, nearly in every single competition but end up with nothing. Now their team will be dismantled too with Costa joining us..etc it is a bit sad
  19. He in tears fuck this dude can cry?
  20. Injured again ffs. Maybe just maybe he aggregated his injury a few weeks back?
  21. You can do if your defence is one of the best in BPL history, even at this season we got 80+ points despite having 3 strikers we currently have. Remember back then we don't lose to the likes of Sunderland or draw Norwich, we always win even if it is 1-0. So as long as your defence is great it is really possible for that. The likes of Joe Cole, Robben stepped in like Hazard, Oscar now.
  22. Yh I forgot about Ibra but for the rests they occasionally scored some outside the box but 95% of their goals are inside. You can still be one of the best striker in the world even if you cannot score from distance as Lewandowski, Falcao and Cavani show. My point is that outside the box and attitude/personal argument is really weak and shouldn't be used to judge a player. Btw just because he missed a few goals or picking up a few yellow cards doesn't mean he is an idiot. Diego Costa also missed the Madrid derby this season in the cup because of suspension due to amount of yellow cards, which is unbelievable for a striker and he is not an idiot trust me, in fact quite opposite. If you don't like Mario just say it, no need to start making him out to be someone worse than he is and then when he comes here starting to slate/abuse him.
  23. But he is also one of the best CDM in the world. Saying that he is pretty much untouchable at Barca, even if we bid 30m they are gonna reject it. And it doesn't really matter if he is a cunt, every top class player in the world(or at least 95%) are cunts. Messi, CR7, Ibra, Rooney, RVP, Suarez, Busquest, Neymar, Hazard, Terry, Costa, Robben, Ribery...etc are all ego so it annoys me when people are using the 'cunt' argument to hate a good player.
  24. No at Inter Eto'o played on the wing under Jose and hardly scored, Milito was really the main man playing through the middle. It was under Rafa that Eto'o started to play centrally and went on an amazing scoring run while Milito faltered and picked up long term injuries. Apart from 11-12 season at Madrid, Jose never really had success with rotating strikers in his career.
  25. Unless you are either Ronaldo, Hulk, Bale or Messi you are unlikely to a threat outside the box. The last part of that bold sentence is important, that is all we ask of him. Then you go on about the character idea again, when are we gonna give us this bs argument of only saints allowed to play for Chelsea? Cole, Terry, Costa, Hazard, Torres, Eto'o, Ramires and others all have or will play for Chelsea next season-and I can tell you personally they are on some level of 'asshole' too. Just like Diego Costa then for the last sentence of the 1st paragraph?
