  1. Rumors that MU is considering activating his clause of £50m, he would be a good signing for them but that is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy overpriced.
  2. This isn't a fucked up decision by the board, it is actually a pretty good one imo. Fucked up is like signing Lavezzi and selling Oscar/Hazard to PSG. Filipe Luis is one of the best LB in Europe atm, even at 29 years old he is pretty good and could play well for 3-4 more years imo. Shaw meanwhile could turn out to be another Andy Carrol for all we know, it is one thing playing for Southampton and another playing for Chelsea. Especially with Southampton likely demanding £30m min and he will want at least £100k per week.
  3. Liverpool have bid around 16m for him according to Sky sports.
  4. England producing talents have nothing to do with this. If the players are that good they will breakthrough. The likes of Ramsey, Bale, Shaw, Lallana, Barkley...etc. If they are truly that good they will sign up for clubs like Southampton and get into the team, it got nothing to do with academy. Well most of the time they do, Modric and Iniesta especially always impresses every time I see them. But yh if you are asking for players that does it 100% every week then that is impossible.
  5. Hype is the reason. Basically him banging 3-4 goals in from distance every season does that same with Bale. But yh I agree 65m is wayyyyyyyy too much.
  6. Vidal, Modric, Alonso that is about it, maybe Bastian, Javi Martinez and Iniesta. But that is about it for me, it is a very small pool. That is why these players are considered best players in the world in their positions-they do it well consistently.
  7. Just have a thought with great CM/CDM limiting around Europe atm, why not sign Song for 10m or so? Good price, if he does well it is good if he doesn't it doesn't matter too as the fee is relatively small. Of course this shouldn't be our 1st choice, but why not sign him if there are no other good options at the end of the summer? Sure he used to play for Arsenal and all that but it doesn't matter.
  8. He is already one of the greatest Spanish manager in football history thanks to his Barcelona 09-11. They are immortal forever now, nothing can change that. Even if he retires from management in 2 years he will still be remember for winning every single trophy in 2 seasons and winning 2 CL in 3 years. Same with the likes of Jose, Del Bosque, Heynckes, Ancelotti...etc
  9. None yet because if we do now they would probably be 5m max for both. However, wait a couple of years and if Chalobah doesn't impress extremely(yes have to be extremely aka Courtois level, even Lukaku OK level is not good enough) it depends on him then he will be sold accordingly then if he wants to leave. He could either become a Clyne and be sold for 5-10m permanently or a Josh which is now almost worth nothing. Same applies with Loftus-Cheek. You might not like to hear this but it is the truth and imo what will happen in the future.
  10. Marketable doesn't mean advertising products on social websites, it means shirt sale and participating in adverts/posters which Torres are on plenty atm. That is what marketable means, it doesn't mean he constantly post about new Nike/Adidas products to advertise it(although sometime he will)
  11. Rakitic is a CAM so naaa he wouldn't be a huge upgrade. Same with Koke who has been play as a RM/CAM this season. The rests are good, apart from Fabregas who cannot play in a CM role effectively, he is more effective as a CAM. Only Vidal or Pogba would be a extreme upgrade to the team Out of 100 players hoping for 2 to be world class LOL? The rests are to be sold off eventually. Obviously if you try to go for 100 talented youngsters a couple will eventually be a Courtois/Hazard and the rest can be sold. I don't think the academy means anything more than that nowadays, the chance of club getting a player like Baker in the team is next to 0 unless he does a Pogba on loan.
  12. We won't get him even for 50m, Juve apparently rejected 65m euros bid from Madrid and that is more than £50m.
  13. You sure about that? at least £100k+ per week dude, maybe even £150k+. He got Mino Raiola for an agent, no chance he become one of the most expensive player in history on small wages/
  14. For the right price yep as I mentioned. Although I would prefer us to keep Oscar and sign Kroos for free in 1 year. But if PSG decide to go mental again and bid 40-50m for Oscar after WC we can sell and get this guy to replace him.
  15. Yep he been playing there mainly for Bayern this season as Pep don't trust Javi Martinez in that role and Bastian was injured for a long time at the start of the season. But he is also excellent as a CAM, played there for Bayern last season under Heynckes until he got injured.
  16. That would be good, definitely an upgrade on Oscar. But max I would go for him is 20m-25m as he only got 1 year left, while Oscar we can sell for 40m.
  17. Jose don't have a choice, it is the club who will be deciding his price. Jose can only give his recommendations...etc and tell the club the players he wants to bring in. But yh I agree 65m is way too much for him, even then Juve is essentially demanding over 100m worth seeing as Di Maria is 40m alone by himself. So I think we should let this go.
  18. In term of this season performance no, but in term of potential and ability definitely as long as Jose can help to integrate them in the team. Jackson Martinez especially is capable imo, he is a very good striker but not tested enough at highest level. But he got pace, skill, good shoot, can hold the ball up for team mates...etc. He is always useful as the last resort.
  19. Shearer 10 says it all really. Also most of his hoals are in Belgium league while Messi, Owen and Rooney are in Liga+BPL
  20. His career is full of luck. Winning every single major honors he could without contributing significantly in 90% of them. And he is one of the richest player in the world being adored by fans(shirt sales back this up) despite being shit for the prime years of his career. If that isn't luck then I don't know what is.
  21. Don't worry guys, at the very worst we will do a 40m for Balotelli, 50-60m for Cavani or release clause(34m) of Jackson Martinez. Never gonna go into the new season with our current attackers, with or without Lukaku. But I predict we will eventually sign Costa as long as his hamstring isn't a big issue(even if he have a terrible WC) and Mandzukic for 20-25m.
  22. Wondering what is the point of keeping him now, might as well sell him for a couple of millions to a team like Southampton and hope they develop him. Now is the time we need a CM and when we have someone world class alongside Matic I cannot see anyway back for him. Almost really similar with the Marin situation except he isn't injury prone.
  23. Would be funny that after all the 'love for Chelsea' claims from fans eventually he decides to cross street for QPR just for more money.
  24. http://www.espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1339873/simeone-hoping-to-one-day-manage-inter-milan?cc=5739
  25. Oh of course, as long as they are here they are unlikely to drop out of top 3 anytime soon. Well not unless Dortmund decides to replace Lewandowski with someone like Torres but people like Aubameyang will be able to keep the club going. Same with Atletico, if they are planning to promote that 2nd terrible GK to replace Courtois I cannot see their defensive record are that good again next season. Btw Simeone already said he is planning to move to Inter and Lazio eventually, then Argentina national team when he is 60 so he is unlikely to stay at Atletico all his career.
