Yh a bit early for Matic I suppose, but Dave or Cahill definitely imo. Captain always give his all on the pitch, doesn't complain when get put on the bench and need to be matured. Luiz is talented but he doesn't fulfill all these criteria yet imo, some of his performance earlier this season was shocking, especially that Newcastle away and it is not because of his mistake either but his careless performance. Also he is a lot more matured now compared to 2 years ago but still no where completely imo.

IF we want extremely entertaining football go Klopp, every single game of Dortmund this season usually involves 2 or more goals, although not always at the right end. An example is the weekend game in a meaningless game which they won 3-2, here at Chelsea it would have been 1/2-0 win. But for some reason his whole starting 11 or like 8-9 of them are out with long term injuries for some reason, don't know if it is to do with his approach or something else. If we want Mourinho but a bit better and more animated coach try Simione, although a lot of Atletico's games are like our own. Then again go with the easy option if we want a top class manager that is capable(not always) of playing good football which is Carlo back. Outside these 3 I cannot see anyone else improving us, maybe Hynckes if he comes out of retirement but that is about it. No thanks to Pep and tiki taka please, tired of that crap by now and it is not even entertaining like it used to be at Barca 09-11. Overall next season Jose will get his last chance here, winning no major trophy again and still using the current approach with Costa leading us will resulting in his sacking either at the end of in the middle, depends on our situation at the time. There won't be a season after for Jose if we are close to the title again but not winning it, especially with current style of football. He needs to get the title+ slightly improving our style or he will be sacked by Roman.

Even if Arsenal sign Remy and we get Costa we got a much better squad and starting 11. The only squad that we don't have that is as good are City but this season shows we do have what it takes to finish above them so imo with Costa we should be finishing ahead of them. Agreed with the rest though.

Naaa I don't think that is the problem, even if we TRIED to be proactive we can't because Jose doesn't know how, which has really been a weakness for the majority of his career and what got him in trouble with Roman/Madrid in the past. Because he has been setting his sides to be reactive for the majority of his career he doesn't know/want to change his approach. I think Pep is about to fall into the same problem as seen with Bayern and why Atletico will eventually struggle next season too to repeat this feast imo. Today was as good as all out attack as we could see from Chelsea and it was terrible. Do we think an amazing striker is going to help change that? It wasn't down to easy missed chances but just lacking creativity and knowledge to break these teams down.
