Also this kept on going since new year so that is over 4 months, in which case it isn't just a dip in form either as usually that only lasts 3-4 matches max. Actually if he plays well or not well in 2 weeks he will still be criticized, he is in a bit of dilemma: 1. He plays terrible- suggesting he is tired physically as he had no serious injury for the past few months and that he isn't up to it at Chelsea 2. He plays amazingly well-suggesting he has been saving his best form and energy for the WC, in which case he didn't commit enough at Chelsea, in which case he is not worthy of playing for Chelsea So either way, he really can't win. However, I will be judging him and make the final judgement next season when there is no more distraction or excuses he could come up with/his fans could come up with for him.

Really? I never paid attention to that, off the back of my head the games against the likes of Basel, Benfica, Rubin...etc Oscar haven't really done much in those games. Maybe he was our top scorer in the CL but we gone out of it so it is pretty irrelevance imo. Yep I know but the thing with his 'spark' is that they don't appear often enough, he is capable of game changing performances but he doesn't deliver them often enough which is the big problem-in another word inconsistency.

Tbf he hasn't been instrumental in any trophy we have won since his arrival in 2012(yes we only won Europa League). When we won it, Torres, Mata, Terry, Lampard, Hazard and Luiz all played key roles while Oscar didn't do much. Same with BPL, he had a few good/great performances but most of them are just general/OK performances with a few terrible ones. Toward the end of 12-13 season he faded as well, not sure why it repeated in 13-14 but I can only think of WC. If he does the same next season it will have to be his fault and confirms that he isn't up to it physically-in which case we better off selling. But in general I would give him next season as the last chance.

Tbf since 2012 to now the boards have done more right than wrong with signings. The worst one is probably Marin for 8m but then for every Marin there is a Mata, Kevin, Courtois, Hazard, Oscar, Dave...etc. But if you refer to the boards's record for the past 5 years then definitely it is 50-50. Terrible ones like Matic, Torres along with good ones like Luiz, Ramires.
