There is no such thing as 'worth' or 'real value' in football, there was never any. The fee paid a club for a player depends on many factors such as clubs want to sell/player wants to leave/hype around him and other factors. If a player worth determines that Lallana is 25m while Fabregas is 26-28m then football is well and truly dead. The selling club can now virtually demand whatever they want for a player to suit their needs. Yes it sounds outrages but how else are they gonna get him? Offer 40-50m, what they believe he is worth and hope Monaco accept? Forget it. For us supporters it seems crazy to spend 70-90m on him, for a club like Madrid it is nothing more than normal procedure. In today's market he is worth around 30-40m min now anyway, so doubling that isn't actually that crazy for a club like Madrid. Remember David Luiz who can't defend to save his life is sold for 40-50m, for us he is worth 30m max.

Ironically they were also 2 players that we could have got and needed as later on we ended up signing Willian+Matic. Not saying Willian is bad but 30m for Willian and 37m for James is just fucking unbelievable. Matic is slightly better than Moutinho but he would have still improved our mid greatly either way and Fabregas probably wouldn't be needed now. Ah well at least we still got a amazing squad for next season.

Yes in a team that requires discipline like us under Jose he cannot make it. However, Barca/Real/Bayern and maybe even PSG are always dominating their leagues and that is why he would fit perfect for them. I mean teams park the bus against them, they never do it themselves even in the CL against the best oppositions. Basically he is a luxurious great player, but never a great defender.

From Luis to fucking Ben Davies would be just killing it. Only Moreno and Ricardo is acceptable from that list.

I am sure Ray still want to comeback to the club one day and the last thing he would do is to come out and sort of criticizing Roman. I think we as fans can see it is clear Torres and Sheva are 2 clear Roman buys. Otherwise, I don't think we can explain how Torres lasted as long as he did here despite his terrible performances. This, Pogba is no where near as fast as Ramires but a lot more intelligent with the ball and his skill is outrageously better. Also Ramires doesn't bang them in from 30 yards, Pogba can.
