I like Malouda, i really do but the nail was hit in the first line. 2010 was his year, that was 3 years ago. We can keep him for his experience with helping the youngsters adapt etc but i can't see him making any sort of impact next season. Regarding what he has won and played for in his Chelsea career, so had Kalou, didn't mean he was good but they played with great players in a super Chelsea era. Malouda has had a good Chelsea career for sure but this would be more dramatic if he had 4 years left. I'm in no doubts that this will be his last year if he stays as he only has one year left to run. Robbie didn't even play him when he took over from AVB, he favoured Kalou, probably because of his age. Even in the UCL final, he came on with only 15 minutes left, Robbie opted for Ryan Bertrand on the left side of midfield which must've said something and i don't remember him doing much when he came on. Last season was hugely disappointing for him. He has looked alright in pre season tho to be honest but we should be keeping him for experience rather than his ability. He's played well in some big games i,e Wembley games and Old Trafford in 2010 but i don't think he has the big game in him any more. I would be more confident seeing even Benayoun in a game against Real Madrid at the Bernaneu than i would Malouda. Hazard, Oscar and Mata are the real deal. Marin has the pace and ability to be a great player too and i would trust all of these in big games because for their ages, they all have played some big games and tournaments in their careers already and like i already said, Malouda was left out of the UCL Final for a teenage left back at right wing so i don't think Flo Mo is still here for his big game prowess. Malouda is still here because maybe nobody will pay him what he's on here, he has experience and he's a popular guy in the dressing room or on the training ground. I like Malouda, he's had a good Chelsea career, not a great one but a good one. He's in his 30's now and Robbie quite clearly showed that he's not gonna be the man to play for his team. Suddenly.... Robbie now has the job and who has he bought in? 3 players who occupy Malouda's area of the pitch and still looking for more.

I like everything he says because we all know that we won 2 trophies because we sacked him. I'm not even sure who to hate the most now next season or who i want to see us beat the most. I'm hating Tottenham, Man Utd and QPR a lot more than normal and we have West Ham back. I said to lots of my mates that if we ever won the UCL, i wouldn't feel as bothered or as under pressure any more. So wrong... My desire to thrash Liverpool, West Ham, Man Utd, Tottenham, QPR and of course Arsenal is bigger than ever. I wish this season would hurry up, i wanna feel that emotion of giving a loada cunts a good beating. Can't wait! Never looked forward to a season so much.

Brano has a decent cross from what i've seen over the years. Maybe not the best in pre season but he does put em in with good pace and direction although Hutch's crossing is better. Hang on what's this thread again? 2 secs..... Ah this Azpilisomething guy, well i don't know him, not even seen a highlight of him so wont judge. Brano also scores goals and can finish very well. Whoever swe sign, i hope he's number 2 because Ivanovic will be a Chelsea legend one day. He shall not, he shall not be moved.

He's a very good striker, great finisher and great in the air and always scores big goals in big games. I've always rated him but is he worth 10-20m? I don't think so. he's worth around £7m imo because he's not world class. Perfect back up striker tho, could certainly do a job for us. Again... too many are judging the club he plays for instead of actually seeing his qualities and his performances in the best league in the world for a shit team. I wouldn't be against signing him but i know for a fact we wont go in for him. We as a club are too big for him.

I would vote for Duppy, Ryan, hutch and Pizy but i don't think that's possible. Someone said it's been a crap month, i disagree. I think it's been a really good month with many people giving a lot.

Mata needs a rest, he went all the way in the Euro's and went to the Olympics, they still have to play another match. I'd be very surprised if he's back for August 12th.

I still have no idea who Azpilicueta is but judging by you lot, he's good but i haven't posted in his thread because quite frankly, i don't know him from Adam. Pre season has been rather shite but the actual premiership season is gonna be so different from that. A bit gutted tho that Oscar and Mata won't be available for the Community Shield. After his first season, we all saw Ramires as a CDM. He's a B2B midfielder that covers so much ground and has so much energy, he's perfect to stay deep-ish and stop & start moves. Only from the 2nd half of last season we saw his influence as an attacking player but that doesn't necessarily mean he is an attacking player, he can do pretty much any job you ask him to do. I see him as a work horse that can win the ball and start attacks with his pace. Football is a team sport which means all the players have to play in positions that will benefit the team and not just themselves. Hazard, Mata and Marin are all wingers that can play CAM. Oscar is plain and simply a CAM. Ramires is more a CM that can play CAM and CDM like Lampard. For the team purpose, the strongest team i feel would be this although admittedly i've never seen Hazard on the right hand side. He just seems to have the ability to do a job great job there. Mata - Oscar - Hazard Mikel - Ramires Mata and Hazard can swap, Marin can come on and change things again. Lampard is gettng older, i can't see him playing much more than 20 league games next season, we have to look to the future now. This team is the future.

We're European Champions, we're bypassing the FFP, we're buying young geniuses for 20-30m. I can't see our youngsters breaking through at all. I also now fear for Lucas Piazon who has fantastic quality. He needs to be given a chance.

i think the ideal scenario is to use Hazard and Mata on the wings because Hazard is right footed and Mata is left, if they interchange and keep swapping every now and again, that will cause defenders nightmares. Hazard is a LW by trade but he's right footed, same as Marin. I'd like to see Ramires in the double pivot with Mikel and i'd like to see Oscar as the man in the middle of the 3. I think that would be best all round, just a shame it might take a while to test it out. Until Oscar comes, Mata should be out wide with Hazard with Marin in the middle. Hazard, as has been mention, has the trickery and unpredictability to be a good LW for us. Even tho he's mostly going to cut inside, he's good enough on the ball to beat players even if they know where he's planning to go.

Member of the month. I was thinking about nominating 3 to give more credit to more people. There have been so many good members this month. Duppy Conquerer, Ryan Davidson, Jim and more, it would be good to nominate a top 3 each month as in a month, a lot of work is achieved as well as a hell of a lot of posts. Then when everyone has nominated 3, the poll can go up with the top 5 people that are in everyones 3 person list. I'm finding it hard to vote for one guy this month so i'm thinking of this now. Up to you tho of course.

Wow what a fucking player Oscar is. First time i've watched him play and i couldn't be more impressed. Him and Neymar were by far and away the best 2 players on the pitch. I loved that last goal, absolutely wonderful. We've bought a star. He's so composed, can shoot, pass, dribble, has pace, can take a FK... he has so much to his game. I can't wait to see him in Chelsea blue. My word.. (as Ray would say).
