All of our CAM's can play out wide. They are skillful, quack and can all dribble with a ball. Also it's good signing players from same national teams so nobody is left out and feeling a bit shy. Brazilians, English, Spanish and Belgians with the odd few others. We still have Romeu, Essien, Mikel and Lampard who are physically able, and Lukaku also when he's developed sufficiently. Cavani is very good physically and this is the final piece of the jigsaw, or Hulk. Either would complete the squad, this season is going to be unbelievable. We're more balanced than people think.

Lampard can't play forever. If we're to evolve, we need to bring class youngsters in who can take us to the highest level. Lampard has been the best midfielder in our history but as Brazil, Barca and Spain have shown, football is changing big time now.

We've always, ever since i've watched Chelsea, been maybe 1 player or 2 away from the perfect squad balance. We're really doing a fantastic job this year. At the moment we're just wanking, if we get Cavani it will be the climax.

This is insane, this will be Chelsea as we've never known it before. We had a revolution of sorts in 1996, we had another one in 2003 and now 2012 brings us another one. This is epic, definitely been signed as an alternative for Modric. Similar physically and very tricky on the ball. I think we just need Cavani now and we're done. Fuck the RB, Ivan & Hutch will do. I think Hutch is incredibly under rated and i think his knee is fine. We have LBs, RBs, CB's, CMs, CDM's and CAM's. We just need Cavani in my honest opinion and we are complete for 5 years.

That just sounds too funny. Damn those aliens. I think Mikel will have his best ever Chelsea season in the season ahead. I don't think Essien will ever get back to his best which is a shame but he has had a few great years with us. I'd love him to prove me wrong, he just looks so slow now tho and he keeps annoying smashing the ball 50ft over the bar with annoying shots.

There's a difference. Mikel is trying not to get injured and is just slowly playing himself back into the season a bit conservatively. He's not giving it everything. Essien on the other hand has something to prove and knows he has to give it everything this pre season to get a chance to play more league games. Mikel knows he's virtually assured or playing 90% of games.

Jesus, being linked with Watford forced him to retire. One of the best 6 yard box poachers i've seen, was such a clinical finisher. Didn't really like him much tho, was a whinging cunt.

We have 3 strikers, 2 you wouldn't trust to throw in in the league and 1 who has had the worst 2 years in his career. We have more quality / promising CAM's than anyone probably in the world.

As much as we all want Torres to shine, it's far from guaranteed. We need someone who can guarantee goals, i reckon Cavani can score goals anywhere. Having Torres and then the back up being Sturridge and Lukaku is asking for trouble. We have about 100 CAM's, we NEED Cavani.

Maybe we'll bring Mickey out of retirement.

I changed my mind, i really want him actually, he's like the perfect striker, scores all types of goals and is a fucking beast in the air and has pace. If he wants to leave, we have to make an offer, it would be stupid not to, especially as we need another striker. There's not many better strikers around atm and he's 25. I dunno what i was thinking with my previous post... £35m? In todays market, he's totally worth it.

I keep getting reps but can never find them which is a bit irritating. I could have a post from waaaay back with 50 reps or something but don't know it. Any chance the setting can be changed to display the post where you got the last rep rather than the last post that got a rep if you know what i mean. The thing is, nobody really knows what any ones back 4 will be, squads are so big now, it's just a gamble who u pick. Vidic is fit and will probably start the season but you just never know when he'll get sent off n suspended. It's all about squad depth and rotation nowadays.

cash in if we can for sure, there are too many players in his area of the pitch to justify him staying at the club, especially as they are all younger and better than him. He was good tho against PSG and has been a good servant for the club but its definitely time for him to move on. He can do a job for a number of teams, it's better for both parties. Maybe he just wants to win the Super Cup and Club World Cup to complete the set and leave fully fulfilled in the January transfer window. He's come this far, makes sense tbh.
