  1. First of all, he was our manager in that game and secondly yeah i know the 4th goal was Malouda's fault and Cech had a nightmare as did Bosingwa, Terry, Cole, everyone! But they coulda scored 8 against us, AVB chose the high line, the line that got cut through so easily every 5 minutes by Gervinho and Wallcott. I simply blame AVB for the high line which is the reason we gave away so many chances. I don't even know how we were 2-1 up at half time. That was the worst defensive display i have ever seen from a Chelsea team and although they scored mainly from our mistakes, they deserved at least the 5 goals they got from the way they just ripped us apart at will. And this was to an Arsenal side that were having a shocking spell who really were there for the taking.
  2. I'd just love to see him play for anyone, i have absolutely no idea how good he is or what he's even good at. Needs to go to a prem team, maybe Villa, they're desperate for strikers or Stoke as his size n physique he just looks like a Stoke player. Pulis likes his big black guys up front lol.
  3. Can sense one of those great European nights now, i'm so looking forward to this, could be an absolute epic.
  4. To be honest, it's about time Tottenham beat us at the Bridge. I can actually see that happening. I should get banned for saying that but i have that nasty feeling. It's been too long. 22 years? Wow
  5. The 3-5 yes, that scoreline will never be forgiven. The Liverpool 1-2 and the Villa 1-3 were bad, the Wigan 1-1 was bad, the 3-0 to 3-3 with Utd was bad, the 0-0 with Norwich was bad but the 3-5 with Arsenal was just damned unforgivable.
  6. AVB being a complete wanker also helped him get the sack but yes that is true and i'll never NEVER NEVER EVER forgive him for that Arsenal game. When i see his face i think of that game. His face will haunt me now for life.
  7. I'm off work tomorrow, thinking what to do. Getting more up for this match as the days go on, now it's like imminent. I know we wont win the UCL, that's a plain written fact but don't you just get that sneaky feeling that we just might. Like the 2% in the back of the brain lol. We're still there so fuck it, why not. At least we have more chance than fucking Arsenal.

  9. With Robbie n Eddie back together at this club, some of the heart and soul came back to the club. I really hope that even if we appoint a new boss in the summer that these 2 don't get chucked out. I'll be happy so see these 2 in their same roles next season.
  10. forget the money side, we have an owner that spent around £30 million to sack Ancelotti, hire Villas-Boas then sack Villas-Boas and he's spent £80m on Shevchenko & Torres. He's currently worth $12.1 billion. Maybe this is what we need. To take a step back to go forward. seriously we can go through our transition and consolidate for 1 year, as long as we get back into the UCL after just 1 year we could benefit from it and we can blood some of the young guns. Tottenham came 5th last season and they aint done too badly off it. Maybe we can actually forget about these big name signings for a change and use from within. We've had the best youth team for like the last 4-5 years, give em a fucking chance.
  11. Napoli will score, that's for certain. This could go to... Wait..... PENALTIES !!
  12. See that Argie scored 2 again for Barca. I predict a good future for this young lad....
  13. Yeah, we should lock this thread until he scores. He needs to score to unlock it.
  14. Would be quite funny if Warnock got Leeds into the playoffs and up to the prem and replaced QPR. I can't see it happening but Leeds did a very good 2-0 win at 'Boro earlier.
  15. I can't believe how many games Juve draw, it's unbelievable.
  16. Moyes will go to Tottenham i reckon.
  17. This has turned into the Falcao, Munian and Llorente thread lol. No way Atletico would sell Falcao after buying him for £40m unless we offer a lot more which won't happen. And AVB is no longer here so the 5% chance is now 0% chance. We should focus on spanish, spain are currently dominating the football universe. Muniain and Llorente shouldn't cost loads and they are good enough to replace Drogba and Lamps imho. Oh and btw, i don't only watch Barca and Madrid games, i've watched Llorente for a good 5 years and the guy is fucking superb!
  18. You know, when i read everything back starting from when Andre came to how he treated Anelka and Alex, 2 players who did a lot for our club, so nastily to him sacking Tommy Langley for something he said, to showing a complete lack of respect for Lampard, a true Chelsea legend and reading in the paper about what he was like with his time keeping on the players and sleeping at the training ground obsessed with this job and being such a strict cunt.... I'm so relieved now that he's not our manager any more. I always did my best in trying to defend him and say give him time to build hgis own team but we never really saw what he was like and tbh he was a bit of a prick wasn't he. We would of only got worse under him and under his methods i think and this season woulda ended in a disaster. I feel a lot happier today than i did about 3 weeks ago. Not just because we've won 2 in a row and not just because we have 2 Chelsea legends back but i just feel that the players are happier now, there's more passion and they're more relaxed without this control freak in charge. For a new manager, i don't really mind who it is as long as they know how to respect the players, know how to treat the players and at the same time know what's right for us and aint afraid of changing the team around. The working relationship between players and manager cannot be understated at all because it's the biggest part of the job by a mile and this is why we were so bad and inconsistent this season, because the players and Andre weren't together, they were rather against each other. Players & manager must be united and not divided. If we do really well from now til the end of the season and win the FA Cup and qualify for the UCL, there's no reason why Robbie can't keep the job on a permanent basis, especially if the players show the owner and everyone else that they are happy and reinvigorated . Team spirit is more important than having a big name manager imo because it's the players who play the game and get the results at the end of the day. It don't matter how high profile or big the manager may be, if the players aint happy, performances and trophies will simply not happen.
  19. Ronaldo and Messi never get injured either, really unbelievable i've never, ever seen any of them stay weeks or months on the sidelines. The Messi drug thing is only mentioned because he is so good. They have nothing to do with how he plays, it's still him who decides what he does when he does it.
  20. This is a forum for Chelsea FC not the Chelsea flower show lol.
  21. Yeah.... Arsenal and Tottenham starting shockingly, still Yids did play both Mancs in their first 2. At least one of our London rivals are going down tho. Was nice seeing you after all these years, now fuck off back to where you belong.
  22. Agree, just leave it now as it is. 2 works, 3 is too many, 1 is an overcrowded thread. 2 works nicely.
  23. What made me smile today? hmm... Finishing work before 3 and getting home in time for the whole Chelsea game. Seeing Yids lose, seeing Liverpool lose. Seeing Chelsea win. Few smiles today
  24. Blimey, this thread is hotter than the sun. He didn't even play today and still it burns on. This will definitely get over 1000 pages in time. For the record, i think he's shit and must fuck off ASAP.
  25. You lot moan when we lose and moan when we win and now we beat a team 1-0 who are hard to beat at any time. Tottenham have lost 3 in a row, Man Utd have lost at home to Blackburn this season so we can't just expect to turn up and win easily 3-0. If u give me 1-0 before KO, i woulda been happy to take it. Now we win and it's "Why didn't we win 4-0 we were crap". Complete shite.
