How many guys on here have had a falling out with their boss? For how many on here, their gaffer might not be their favourite person in the world.... but they still have to show up to work and perform. And no doubt for much less that £200k a week. No excuses. They are responsible as well. They all live a privileged life and they should be thankful for the people that make it possible. The support. The guys travelling about the country week in week out. Turning up and supporting in full voice regardless of the result. They should be working for them.

I was working tonight on a property. They each earned tonight enough to buy a nice detached house, all multimillionaires, yet couldnt be bothered to applaud the fans that travelled all that way. Half arent fit to wear the shirt and can fuck the fuck off if they keep that attitude up.

You can talk about modern day fans for all you want but at the end of the day, ask any fan out there and he or she will tell that the least they want to see week in week out is commitment, desire and fight for the club. The team won't always win and/or perform well and that's fine but that's the least people want to see. The problem with us right now is that the players aren't showing those in the matches. They are just drifting through games and hoping for something to happen.

Ther are several problems.Mourinho was undermined when Cech went to Arsenal; a decision he would never have countenanced. Throw in the Eva business, poor transfer dealings in the summer and his own stubborn attitude at times and the problems multiply.

Play for the shirt. Not the manager.

So boring listening to people talk about how Mourinho has to go because he's no longer a great manager. He's supposedly lost it in a few months while the players are absolved because they're not best buds with José anymore -- which is somehow an excuse.
Does anybody think that perhaps there is blame to be shared out in equal measure?
There's plenty to be critical about in regards to José. I just want the club to stick by him because 1) his record doesn't lie, and 2) the club showing it won't cave to player power -- if that's the problem -- can never be a bad thing.
Speaking of football in general, the answer to every bad spell shouldn't be to dispense with the manager. It usually favours ignoring the bigger picture for an immediate increase of form in the short term.
