Shawarzer is a very good goalkeeper. And all teams need at least 3 of them. If 1 keeper gets injured and the other gets red-carded, the team is in big trouble. And even though you might think that's extremely unlikely, it has happened before, more than once. How ridiculous would it be if Chelsea lost the title race because of such a silly, unprofessional mistake? Besides that, neither Cech or Courtois will accept to be on the bench. One of them will want to leave eventually. It's only a matter of time. And when that happens, who will be our second GOOD keeper?

This one is quite good: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEG0J9P4cV4

Just read the posts on our rivals' forums, they are all jealous of our board's competence lmao.

It's a shame. The kid had the potential to be a real star but his lack of brains would have done us more harm than good. Upon visiting Stamford Bridge in 2009, Lukaku said “What a stadium. If one day in my life I will cry, it will be the day I play here. I love Chelsea.”. But success at Everton success has made him arrogant, he lost his humility, he claimed his childhood hero was Drogba but now he has thrown in the trashcan the opportunity to be personally tutored by his biggest idol and the chance to one day outshine him, because he believes he's too good and the club should be kissing his feet. Good luck to him.

Chelsea really can't afford to have a big mouth brat destabilizing the team and challenging the manager. Imagine how catastrophic this guy could be in the typical mid-season crysis when Chelsea loses 1 or 2 key games in a row. I can really see him as that one annoying player who indirectly calls out the manager's tactics and decisions causing bad blood in the squad. After what happened in Spain with Casillas, I can see that as a big reason for Jose to try to get rid of him.

The "completed" Chelsea side and attractive football.
HD3D replied to Shakez's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
What exactly is attractive football? The beauty of how a team plays is pretty relative. For example, Guardiola's tiki-taka is hailed by many as one of the most beautiful ways to play. Yet the other half of the people think it's boring and ridiculous. This season I expect us to be able to break small teams apart. But aside from that, we will still be playing counter-attacking football and we will still be playing for a specific result in a lot of key games. That is a characteristic of Jose as a manager, it won't change. -
I was just reflecting today on the remarkable behavior match going fans have shown this guy despite all of his horrible performances. I mean, imagine Torres in a club like Real Madrid. He would be bullied to death by the fans until he left the club. The guy would be terrified to even step on the field playing at home. No matter how much shit Chelsea fans talk about this guy off the field, when he's on he always seems to be cheered on by the crowd. Even though it's counter-productive in our interest of getting rid of him, it's still something to be proud of in my opinion.

In the same way that Figo is still remembered and received today as part of the Real Madrid family even though he had his best young years at Barcelona, Cesc will also be remembered as a Blue long after the end of his career. Soon enough it will no longer be "weird" for neutral fans to see him in a blue shirt.

lol just found this one

Mourinho needs to STOP playing Torres in the pre-season if we are to have any hope of convincing other clubs to buy him.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2706095/Jose-Mourinho-didnt-try-sign-Luke-Shaw-120-000-week-wage-unsettled-Chelsea.html He is deliberately sending a message to Man United players right there ahahahaha!

At the VERY LEAST, Drogba will be just as good as Etoo was this season. That's a very good second choice to have if things are not going well with Costa or if he gets injured.

Russia's billionaires 'horrified' at sanctions threat that could push economy into recession. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2699984/Russian-billionaires-horror-sanctions-threat-theyre-terrified-Putin-speak-out.html Has a photo of Abramovich. Do you guys think this scenario would affect Chelsea financially? I think not. We don't seem to be as much reliant on Abramovich's money as we used to be. Look at this transfer window so far, the money we spent vs the money we earned on sales. Last window the same thing with Mata and KDB sales.

There is a difference between saying the EPL clubs are the strongest in the world, and saying the EPL, as a league, is the strongest. If you look at the Spanish league (with the notable exception this year), it's a two horse race. This is not a strong league, this is a weak league with two strong teams, What I mean by this is, put our league's two strongest sides (City and Chelsea) against La Liga's (Real Madrid and Barcelona) and we certainly wouldn't have a chance. But put our third strongest side (Liverpool) against theirs, then our fourth strongest (Arsenal, M. United, Tottenham, Everton), against theirs, etc. etc. and eventually you will reach the conclusion that, as a league, the EPL is much much stronger.

You haven't learned anything from all of these years watching Jose, if you believe in that lol.
-
............ Courtois / Cech .................. ......... Azpi - Cahill - Terry - Luis ......... ............. Matic-Fabregas .................. .... Willian/Schurrle - Oscar - Hazard .... ................... Costa ........................ ................................ Jose Mourinho I feel like this is the first time in a long time we can go up against Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, Bayer Munich, and they will be afraid of us as much as we will be afraid of them. What a project the board is building!
-
What are you talking about? He's there.
-
Actualy, Varane IS already quite there. Don't tell me a player who takes Pepe's place in REAL MADRID's starting 11 against Barcelona and Bayern Munich "is not quite there".
-
The point is that you are not putting him ahead of Ramires and Mikel, you are putting him ahead of Oscar, Willian, Fabregas, Salah, etc. Having van Ginkel just walk into the starting 11 just like that is absolutely ridiculous, no matter which way you put it.
-
After watching how an 8 month injury turned Kaka, who was the Ballon D'or at the time, into a less than average player, I'm always nervous when I see one of the players I like stay away from football for such a long time... I really hope van Ginkel will prove his talent is all still there soon, otherwise I'll be very worried...
-
Van Ginkel, are you serious? Just like that huh? He should be given the chance to fight for a place in the starting 11 but putting him there just like that without even knowing the form he's in or his chemistry with the team...
-
With the depth we are adding to our squad and the amount of options we will have on our bench in case things go wrong, do you guys think this lad will get a chance at all next season? He was becoming an interesting asset in the team.
-
Pepe is 31 years old and Varane has the potential to become one of the greatest defenders of all time. You guys are absolutely nuts if you actually believe Real Madrid is going to let him go.
-
Imagine Mourinho saying he must be 31 or 32, if he turned out to be a flop lol.
-
We handled big games very well this season. The real question is, can he break small teams?
