  1. You seem tired and confused. Go to sleep mate.
  2. Should have done this, should have done that. People here never seem to be satisfied with any decision. It's 2-1 and we're dominating the game. Relax.
  3. It's a good reminder for everyone that city is still losing =D
  4. It's such a beautiful sight to see our defenders doing the attacker's job!!
  5. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2942805/Jose-Mourinho-insists-Juan-Cuadrado-not-panic-buy.html Reporter: You never seem to win at Villa Park... why is this? Jose: Because the opponents score more goals than us.
  6. I bet Lampard is dying to come in and resolve the game for them.
  7. Nonsense. If there was no room for Schurrle before, how will there be room now? Also, according to the media, 30m has been offered for him. Are we so perfect financially that we can snub a 30m offer for a 3rd choice player? Mourinho played Sneijder in a crucial league game against AC Milan one day after he signed for Inter. They won 4-0.
  8. Good for you. Go out there and make a mockery out of your manager's pleas. I'm sure it will do the club good. A few years ago during a game between Real Madrid and Barcelona at Madrid's Stadium, Pepe purposely stepped on Messi's hand. On the second leg at Barcelona's stadium, the media was predicting a massive turmoil by the Barcelona fans against Pepe, comparable to what was done to Figo. Guardiola then came out in the press conference and demanded that the fans leave Pepe alone in the upcoming game. Fast forward to the game and Pepe heard nothing but a few occasional whistles. That right there is a display of class and respect from fans who knew better than to disrespect the instructions of a manager who gave them so much. Clearly, you don't seem to understand this concept of class and you strike me as the typical ungrateful and whiny supporter we see around here that asks for the manager's head after any bad result. It's a shame they've made you a mod.
  9. Yes you have the right to do whatever you want but do you not, as fans, claim you're the 12th player in the team? So why would you not listen to your manager's instructions the same way the other 11 do? Stop talking as if you are in no way, shape or form related to your club's manager. You are a supporter and a part of the team. If the manager asks for better atmosphere, do your best to make a better atmosphere. If the manager asks to avoid signing a song, then avoid singing the fucking song.
  10. What a fucking joke of a newspaper. So far Jose hasn't said anything that isn't in front of everyone to see. Just look at the deal with Lampard for example, anyone can see Man City has been making a mockery of the FFP rules. And the same thing goes to referee decisions. How many points have we lost so far because of them, when compared to City? How can it be paranoia when everyone else can see?
  11. You're asking him to stop defending the club and say out loud what everyone saw. Go to sleep mate.
  12. You are ironically disregarding the most important arguments of those who don't think this would be good for the club: 1. The deal would be financially catastrophic to the club (unless Adidas funded part of it, which is unlikely). 2. The FFP rules would crack down on us. 3. Letting Messi in would likely mean letting Hazard leave. 4. According to Spanish media, Messi's problems at Barcelona have mostly to do with his attitude regarding the discipline demanded by the manager. When the manager wants to take him off the game, he says no. When the manager benches him for one unimportant game, he doesn't show up for training the next day. Now imagine him doing all of this to Mourinho. How well would that work out? According to Guardiola's own authorized biography, the moment he realized Messi's possessive and demanding personality, he basically put Messi on a pedestal and bowed to any demand he made. Can you imagine Mourinho doing that? I can't.
  13. We have them on the ropes. We can't waste these chances!
  14. Yes he did give a lot to our club but he has permanently tainted his legacy. Personally, I will never be able to look at him the same way again.
  15. 1. Courtois is one of the biggest reason why his side was one of the best defensive sides in the world. 2. There is a difference between being the best defensive side and the most defensive side. Simeone's Atletico parked the bus against every team in every game. This meant tremendous work for the goalkeeper. Having played for such a side makes Courtois' record even more impressive, not less.
  16. I swear his arm must be more than half the size of my whole body
  17. I understand that Neur has a better claim to the Ballon D'or than Courtois since he's won his domestic championship and the world cup. But the reality is also this: - Neur plays in a league with practically zero competition where his club owns a monopoly. His achievements domestically (record of cleansheets, etc.) are thus massively overrated. On the other hand, Courtois and his club challenged and beat the domination of arguably the 2 best clubs in the world Barcelona and Madrid. Courtois can say he had a tremendous contribution in his team's hard road to the title. Neur can't say that because there never was a hard road. - Neur was raped 4-0 against Real Madrid, meanwhile Courtois was credited man of the match when Atletico eliminated Barcelona in the Champions league. He then went on the reach the final. Also, he was credited multiple times throughout the season as the savior in League and Cup games against Madrid and Barcelona. This is because, unlike Bayern which plays possession, Atletico's strategy was to park the bus which meant tremendous hard work for the keeper. - Neur played with the strongest team in the world cup. The ONLY team that gave Germany a semi-hard time was Argentina in the final and they only had 2 or 3 dangerous chances, where Neur didn't do anything Courtois wouldn't have done. - Neur benefits from the fact that Germany has no other star that can be marketed as best in the world (because that star would have to be judged on the standards set by Cristiano and Messi) and the same happens with Bayern, which originally and ridiculously tried to promote Ribery as best in the world, which failed horribly, and now tries to promote Neur because it's not possible to compare him to Cristiano and Messi. In sum: Neur is a wonderful goalkeeper, but not much better than Courtois. He benefits from a privileged position at club and country level which makes him, in my opinion, overrated. Overrated when people compare him to Buffon and overrated when people try to claim he's worthy of the Ballon D'or.
  18. Except Jose's Inter had a player ridiculously sent off very early. Jose's decision to park the bus in that game was a well deserved slap for Guardiola's cheating tactics at Barcelona.
  19. Probably in the dailymail comment section, where I also posted it. Edit: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2849436/Schalke-0-5-Chelsea-Five-star-Blues-Roberto-Di-Matteo-s-men-John-Terry-Didier-Drogba-Willian-grab-goals.html#comments ahaha there it is! Never thought it would have so many likes.
  20. Chelsea is the sole reason why the English PL still has respect in the international stage. Just imagine Chelsea doesn't exist. Imagine that all England has representing it in the Champions League is City, Arsenal, Liverpool and United. Every other league would be laughing. But for as long as Chelsea is present, this league will be both feared and respected. And all football fans in England, Chelsea fans or not, must thank this club for that.
  21. Took him a month to score the goal he needed to finally break La Liga's record. And he's lucky he got to play the CL before Ronaldo and against weaker teams. Otherwise he would have been beaten to Raul's record but w/e.
