I must admit when the speculation started, I felt he could be another Torres. He has been an average striker for years and only recently had a magical season. But the more I learn about his personality, the more convinced I am about the fact that him being a cunt has its perks. He's the type of guy that plays with passion and emotion, he absolutely hates losing and always wants more and more. He's the type of guy who would have showed Wenger the finger upon scoring the 6th goal against Arsenal last year. Can you imagine him dragging himself through the field with a depressed puppy face and no confidence like Torres? I can't. This guy will either score 20 goals a season or he will murder someone trying. And go to jail. There is no way he will stay at Chelsea for 5 years as a flop.
-
Perfect time for us to reduce our bid and make the cunts sell him for 25m lol.
-
To the guys saying this is a bad idea, who would you have as our 3rd striker? We're in the middle of the season playing a key match and Costa is injured. Lukaku is on but so far it's not working. The manager looks at the bench. Would you prefer him to see Drogba or Ba? Yes he is 36 years old, but then again so is Klose.

People seem to be overlooking the fact that he was a tremendous flop for Spain's national team. Torres was also a brilliant striker when he played for Atletico. I still think there are good chances this deal could turn into another 5 year Torreish nightmare. I'll believe it when I see it.

Higuain still stayed the next season even though he considered leaving. Of course he thought about leaving, since he knew he would be on the starting XI anywhere else in Europe. But remember the club is bigger than the player. Who cares if he wanted to leave after 2 years? The two striker system helped the club tremendously during those 2 years.

The bad thing about Di Maria is that he has 5 magnificent games and then 5 horrible games. He is too unreliable when it comes to form. You can't build a team around him because of that. If he managed to keep his good form the entire season, he would be challenging for the Ballon D'or. The people who are saying we should get rid of Hazard to make room for him are nuts. Currently, Di Maria is better than Hazard but Hazard has much more potential.

At Real Madrid, Mourinho often started with two strikers. Higuain and Benzema. On any other game, Benzema was first choice but Higuain always entered at minute 60 or 70. In some games where Benzema wasn't in form, Higuain started. It was in this year that Real Madrid broke the league's goal scoring record. People need to stop assuming if Chelsea gets two great strikers, one will rot in the bench. This is simply not true.

Jose knows there is no way in hell Abramovich will allow another season without trophies. But you can't expect him to put that out there on the player's shoulders. You're an idiot if you don't realize this. Next season will be between us and City, more so than it was this season. Liverpool is out of the picture considering they will be 4 months without Suarez. United will have Van Gaal but unless they splash 200m, their squad will still be inferior. Arsenal... lol. It's between us and City. And considering we almost beat them to the title this year without a striker, I'm confident it in the end it will be us.

Once a cunt, always a cunt.

Just because Uruguay lost, it doesn't mean Cavani didn't do his share well. Up until the goal by Costa Rica, Cavani was all over the place in every attack. You can't compare his display in Uruguay's loss to that of Diego Costa.
-
What a magnificent display Cavani is having for Uruguay at the moment. Please, please, please Roman! Bring us Cavani instead of Costa...
-
How that shithead Del Bosque picked Torres over Negredo is absolutely beyond me.
-
Nowhere to be found against the Netherlands. Became violent and aggressive as soon as Spain started losing. There is still time for us to drop the chase for this cunt and make a bid for Cavani. Besides, if Real Madrid get Suarez they will almost surely sell us Benzema. Cavani, Mandzukic + Lukaku and we're set.
-
We slapped them 6-0 without a proper striker. With Costa and Fabregas, how many will we be sticking in?
-
The Spanish media claims Real Madrid is going to insist on Ramires because it believes the player will force his way out like Modric did. Since this is the club that payed 100 million for Bale, what are the odds we could slap 35m out of them for Ramires?
-
But why? Seriously, whyyyyyyy?
-
If Real Madrid is willing to give us Casemiro + 10m for Ramires, we should bite their hand off to get that deal.
-
Wonder no more. Mourinho confirms Chelsea's Fabregas interest
-
He is very injury-prone and tbh I failed to see him preform in every big game Atletico played. Hopefully we keep Lukaku just in case. Now just get rid of Torres, Etoo and Ba and everything is perfect. Make it a 3 for the price of 1 pack.

The competence of our administration makes up for the lack of shine we have compared to Madrid, and the lack of budget we have compared to PSG. Jose has been known to shake the head of a player with a phone call, to get a transfer. Roman also has a way of getting what he wants in the transfer windows, especially when there is a dispute. Look at Hazard, Willian, Salah, Zouma, etc. How much of our squad is composed of players who had previously decided they were gonna join someone else? The question here is just how much do we want Pogba. If we really want him, he have just as much of a claim as Madrid or PSG.
-
And that was the only good thing we received upon signing him.
-
He's a cunt in every sense of the word. Although the thought of watching the Arsenal fans go ape shit does bring some joy to the idea.
-
Not very reliable when it comes to Real Madrid's transfers at least. I would say semi-reliable. This deal though, I think it's very much possible. Tiago's out of contract, he's been a Chelsea player, he knows the manager... I can see Mourinho asking for him. Whether we need him or not, he is a great player indeed and I have to say, selling David Luis for $50m and getting Tiago for free, businesswise this is magnificent work from our administration so far.
-
Sad to see him go... But 50m really is an offer we couldn't refuse. Plus I would much MUCH rather see him in a PSG shirt than Barcelona's. It begs the question though, if they paid 50m for Luiz, I wonder how much their offer for Hazard will be??
