    • I wouldn't be opposed to the idea late in a game, but I'm not sure it would be wise in a Premier League game. While we're on this topic, I'll keep repeating myself: NJ will only flourish here if he is permanently moved to a wide role. Has the ability to be an excellent provider due to his movement and pace.
    • No, please none of this unless you want to end up in hospital
    • Mainoo for nkunku do you reckon? It's been in the media before mainoo doesn't want the defensive midfield position and would rather an 8 or 10
    • Sancho and Noni where much bigger problems for sure. Jackson is frustrating as his hold up play and runs last night where harder things to do than finish the two chances. He seems to make the hard look easy, and the easy look hard. Brentford was another example of this. Think he may need a sports psychologist to get him to calm down in front of goal.
    • So many chances. That one against Everton still hurts me
    • Yep, this is a big issue. The lack of rotation in recent games. It was always difficult to maintain the motivation of 25-30 players. Need to refresh the squad again.
    • I've just watched the replay and based on comments here, I thought we had dominated the match and Jackson alone missed 5 sitters... kept looking for them and only found this one header in the first half where he should have scored, and yet I consider heading the football to be a glaring weakness in his game. Guiu? seriously? 🙂 The first goal came from a fantastic play by Jackson and he hit the post later in another great solo play. The game was never under control because Bournemouth pres
    • I honestly thought Jackson was the best player on the pitch in the first half against Bournemouth. Palmer goal came from a fantastic solo play by Jackson where he beat 2 players and then produced a weighted pass that did not even require a first touch by Cole -- so much he simply fainted a shot and then applied the finish. Moments later, on another solo play, he hit the post. Yes, he then missed from a header, which is his glaring weakness. It really shouldn't be news by now, which is the r
    • Jackson needs to play but maybe on the LW.    He is too good at everything else. He literally made chances by himself today. He’s an absolute hound machine as well. Play him and Guiu together.
    • Soooo happy for Reece James. The best RB in the world
    • I wish he would go back to rotating his squad a bit more, esp. with the attackers., not necessarily the defense. When he did that in the early part of the season, it felt like everyone was chipping in with goals and challenging for places. On the flip side, he has chopped and changed the back line with every game, ever since Fofana got injured. For a top side, you would rarely want to see your back 4 change drastically each game, unless there were superior defenders being brought
    • I stick by what I said here. The problem is not that Jackson is in the squad. He links up better with Palmer than anyone else. And the first goal was largely from his hold up play. The problem is that we don't have good competition for goal scoring from anyone else. Guiu? Nkunku? Don't make me laugh.  Goals have dried up all over the pitch. It's either Palmer or no one.  We need another forward.  And before that we need to get a proper CB. Defence first.
