“If we don’t finish in The CL spots, everything changes” - Cole Palmer
-
PYS should be ashamed of himself to even tweet that out. Fucking embarrassing.
-
I wish we could hear a recording of this. Would be great to hear your insight as I know you won’t hold back.

Said this a week or two ago, but I think they’re desperately hoping that results don’t continue like this the rest of the way because they want to keep him badly. They don’t want the embarrassment of having to sack their hand picked puppet who they had planned to become Chelsea manager ages ago. Probably before they even appointed Maresca they were eyeing Rosenior for this job. So if we win just a couple of the remaining PL matches and beat Leeds to reach the FA Cup final they’ll almost 100% keep him even with no UCL football. But if we get smoked by Brighton I think it’s 50/50 whether he stays or goes. That many horrific losses on the bounce SHOULD cost anyone their job at a club like this.
-
They will sack him, they don't give a fuck about anyone but themselves, they just cannot look close enough to home to see that their actually the issue here.
- Today
-
He will survive. Dont see them sacking him anytime soon. It was pointless appointing him but yet here we are..

1,000 strong at protest against BlueCo, Chelsea lose to poor United side, Desperate attempts to cancel negative noise fails miserably, Fans fear heart & soul ripped out of club, Blues News Report..... The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 20th April 2026 https://siphillipstalkschelsea.substack.com/p/1000-strong-at-protest-against-blueco Morning all, Another start to the week, another Chelsea defeat, more pressure on the owners, more pressure on the manager. Both need to go. Chelsea fell to their fourth defeat in a row in the Premier League, losing 1-0 against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday night. United were awful and did a job, holding out for the narrow win. But the onus was on Chelsea to score, and we failed. Words here. BlueCo’s PR machine is something else, and it is my opinion that I believe they did all they could to cancel the negative noise last week, but it failed miserably. Words here. Football writer Henry Winter says Chelsea fans fear the heart and soul being ripped out of their club and replaced by a US-made cash register! He believes the owners should respond to the 1,000 strong fan protests against them on Saturday. Report here. We also had some sourced news out on another midfielder who is on our shortlist. You can read all about Chelsea’s interest in Sunderland player Noah Sadiki here. As always, I had the Blues News Report out on Sunday covering all your latest Chelsea news in general from across the last 24 hours here. Is Liam Rosenior in trouble? Find out in this one. See you all on the next live blog from around 8.45am today on the home page. Oh and also today, we are recording a surprise Podcast! Hit up the Live Blog first thing to find out what it will be and who’s coming on with me! Nobody famous but it’s pretty cool, in my humble opinion!

Really don’t see how he survives if we lose to Brighton. It’s a dead, meaningless game anyways because UCL qualification is done, but if we get beaten without scoring yet again I think his position will be untenable. If the players aren’t responding to you for like 5-6 straight games where you get beaten easily then why is he in the job? It’s pointless sacking him so close to the end of the season but it’s simultaneously pointless keeping him.
-
Blokes a dead man walking Brighton will beat us this week as well
-
Dear god just stop talking

You'd think but when confronted with the actual chance of managing Chelsea, he would take it seriously even right now because you never know if the chance will come again (Lampard in 2019 for example).
-
Oh, I’m sure he 100% has ambitions to manage us in the future. I’m saying he’s probably smart enough to stay away for the time being and build his CV more. He won’t want to jump in to a hopeless situation where he’s set up to fail.
-
You really underestimate the connection Cesc feels to Chelsea. How many non-Cobham graduates have spoken like this about the club after the Terry-Lampard-Drogba years? I can think of only a couple like T. Silva, Hazard. I'd say Cesc gives serious consideration to an offer from Chelsea.
-
Joe Shields. He just had one good buy with Cole. And since then he got more power and all his buy are woeful. Should get less power now. One good buy does not make you the best ever.
-
Some people thought having Jackson up front was a problem last season....enter this season and we have a Championship level striker running around This fascination of collecting all the ex-city boys is honestly weird. Delap, Gittens, Sancho on loan, Lavia with his horrible injury record, Tosin.
-
I strongly dislike and don't rate Garnacho at all but this goal is not only on him.. Despite his poor defending, it was a shity cross and Cunha scored between 3-4 Chelsea players who uninterrupted. Cucurella himself didn't do the best job either..
-
Shambles of a signing, but he finishes well in training though
