A mix of frustration and anger. Was never a 5-2 game. We had many occasions where we could scored a few and then a crazy last 10 minutes completely changed the game. I struggle to see how we overturn it. Not because we need to just make up 3 goals. We have seen it happen in the past, however more to do that we now play a tough game on Saturday whilst PSG have a whole week off, due to Ligue 1 postponing their upcoming fixture. To the game, thought Neto was very good. Caused a lot of problems. Enzo played well too. Team did in general. What annoyed me was the subs. Another game where Rosenior made subs to kind of preserve what we had and it ended up backfiring. I thought Garnacho should have come on earlier, with how stretched the game was. We were causing them issues out wide and on that big pitch, this is the type of game Garnacho could have made a real impact. Really frustrating because the scoreline suggests we got Spurs'd but we never. Just lapses in concentration. Keeper hugely at fault but is it their fault when the manager constantly keeps implying on playing out from the back. Stick with your philosophy, however sometimes respect the opposition.

I have said this for months, we can forget signing top class players for huge fees, it will not happen anymore. The way they operate now is either buying cheap and sending to Strasbourg or more of the same Garnacho type fees where you just simply get middle of the road players. No more 80/90/100M players, it's a loan to Strasbourg after a purchase of around 15M and/or already there and fetch him over.

If anyone has watched Chelsea games over the past two years, you can safely say that if Sanchez occasionally plays like shit, then Jorgensen's game is like a heap of dung. The negligence shown towards the GK and CB positions is infuriating. Ever since Fofana, they've been going for cut-price options and just stocking up on mediocrity instead of going for genuine quality.

Going forward there are signs we could hurt teams but we need a top GK, CB partnership, LW & CF. To have a chance.

It has been a problematic position since Courtois left so those working at the club, they deserve to get the blame for letting it continue to be one. And then Rosenoir gets all he deserves also making & picking Jorgensen as his #1, encouraging him to play out like that, in the same way Maresca did with Sanchez last season. There is a simple solution, limit the GKs touching the ball as often or playing risky passes. But they’d rather live and die by their football philosophy. Its absolute stupidity/stubbornness which will shoot him in the foot again and again. The bigger picture is though that any sort of plans hinging on the chance that a group of say 15-20 young players develop as expected/better than expected, without real quality or leaders around them, is suicidal squad building and planning. If Penders had a bad spell for instance, who do we put in goal, Sanchez? Jorgensen? Some 19 year old kid from Uzbekistan who is apparently the next Manuel Neuer according to Ben Robert’s or Paul Winstanleys stupid data? No thanks. This whole blocking pathways nonsense is ultimately why we missed out on players like Maignan, Semenyo, Guehi, Donnarumma etc. Regardless of closeness or likelihood of securing the deals, the club will never push the boat out and make an exceptional offer for ready made players. Instead they’ll say Sarr or Paez or Penders or whoever else they’ve got on the books at either here or Strasbourg are the long term solution. Its a cop out. And why we will just get rolled over by the big boys every time.

The bind we’re going to be in in the summer is that if we bring back Penders and throw him straight in as our new #1, we’re trusting yet another young kid in a super pressurized role who has never played at this level. He’s bound to make naive errors and mistakes too just out of inexperience. But then on the other hand, what club out there is going to sell us some ready made, world class keeper? They don’t grow on trees and if we identified one we wanted they’d probably cost mega money. You also then block Penders.
