this is not a bad deal, tbh
-
Funny how the majority on here and elsewhere knew Gittens wasn't the right signing and quality Poor signing
-
how we throw away 50M on Gittsens? unreal mistake
-
Garnacho over Gittens for me. At least Garnacho despite being shit most of the time will score a decent amount against super shit teams over the course of a season. Gittens hasn’t really shown that he can even do that.
-
My worry is that the sports science guys are going to ask for lot of changes to the XI. I hope we don't make wholesale changes like in the reverse fixture. There is the weekend FA Cup game to rest players.
-
Of course it was a huge mistake by Joe Shields! He has to play, I don't think he'll get enough playing time at Chelsea. Quenda is also coming in, and Rosenior rates Garnacho above Gittens.
- Today
-
IDK, tbh both are shit but I think Garnacho have a better media and I think he is more easy to sell
-
Once Lavia is fit don’t play him and sell him to strasbourg. Hopefully he can stay fit and play consistently while they get a midfielder we can then take Barco
-
I'd rather keep Gittens than Garnacho. Garnacho just sucks - and it also goes to show why G/A are meaningless without context too for wingers.
-
and why gittens would accept go to strasbourg if he cames from dortmund?? we paid 50M for him What a mistake and we all knew that

I think Gittens will be loaned to Strasbourg in the summer. He needs to play! Garnacho is welcome to go with Neto. Maybe they should try to bring Derry or McQueen into the first team instead of buying another unknown talent as a replacement. Atletico Madrid is interested in Garnacho, so maybe something could happen with Alvarez.
-
weird If at least 75m/80m euros come, I think we should accept but Gittsen and Garnacho are worst than him
-
Tosin is back and trained Lavia back training and a plan has been done for him so when he is back he is back for good Santos had a knock but trained and is fine for tomorrow Reece fit but is ill
-
I think Estevao starts this one.
-
🔵💥Chelsea could choose to entertain offers for Neto in the next window. [@kierangill_DM]

Leeds know no other way than to go at teams at this my favour us. The players need to be reminded before the game not just about the rivalry but also how important three points is here for momentum and push for 4th place. League wise our run has been very good, we dispatched a poor Wolves side but Leeds are much better. I want to see a clean sheet more than anything here, we will score but please keep a clean sheet Sanchez, Gusto, Fofana, Trev, Cucu, Caicedo, Enzo, Estevao, Palmer, Garnacho, Pedro

the only problem for barça is the money. ofc atletico would not sell him cheap.
-
At Elland Road there was a complete underestimation of what the fixture means to Chelsea and Leeds history, hierarchy and long held deep rivalry. I think Rosenior is more aware of this, and wont underestimate them for this return fixture Palmers confidence will be sky high, and hopefully infect the team.

Barca is deffo his preferred destination from whatbInhave seen lately it makes sense IMHO he is made to order for their system under Flick In terms of proven world class CFs, Lautaro Martínez, and Victor Osimhen are the only 2 remotely possible, maybe available options IMHO, plus maybe (IF they sell him) Isak (big gamble), pluxs (pure stop-gap as he will be 38yo), Lewa, but why would he ever want to come here Harry Kane would very likely never ever come here, IF (they would be crazy to sell him, but who knows) Bayern sell him some here love to say *OMG just get a proven world class CF', but they just are not out there, other than the ones I have listed for so so long
-
yes probably and we will have laso acheapomg. the question if the board sell fofana or chalobah and try another center back. lets see ...
-
I don't see them selling Chalobah as they will need CB's (particularly with Fofana's injuries and Colwill will be returning from a bad injury). Whether Colwill, Fofana, Chalobah and Sarr is enough next season...

and why alvarez would want to join us? he want fight for titles. He will go to barça
-
We won’t get Julian Alvarez. He is top class though regardless of what people think but he isn’t necessarily an out & out 9, he is sort of a hybrid player who maybe plays best paired up with/playing off a more traditional striker. Him & Tonali would be exceptional signings - hence why neither will happen. I’d be surprised if Alvarez doesn’t go to Barcelona, given the talk of the past 12-18 months. Both players will be costly though wherever they go. Badiashile leaving would be good, not quite kicked on & still fetch a decent fee. Would give Barco another season in France also, no harm in playing every week for another 12 months. Will be better for his development & we hold all the chips with regards to ownership/trying to do a deal.
