Thats just excuses for having a sub-par attack whenever Palmer is out of the side. Our front line is so bad in terms of inconsistency. I don't see any of our attackers getting 10+ goals this season. Another team figuring out that we can't break down a half-decent parked bus and then Maresca not realising that Sunderland have picked up quite a few goals late in the game this season from counter-attacks and long balls over the top. Wolves and Spurs coming up.....both teams love a counter-attack, can't wait to see Tosin/Chalobah get rinsed again 😆

Good thing is Delap is back soon. Should give some room for Joao Pedro to breathe, and we dont have to rely on Georgo or Guiu up front.

🤩Liverpool beaten by Brentford to equal worst-ever Premier League run https://www.espn.co.uk/football/report/_/gameId/740679

Never forget the 3 subs in 20 minutes against United when Sanchez decided to foul Mbeumo. This time we didn't get a red card but his subs were horrible. We really are missing Palmer's magic as Pedro seems to have forgotten how to score since the CWC 😆

That was the wrong call but I don’t think Maresca has a longstanding pattern of making terrible substitutions. His subs changed the game vs Liverpool for instance
-
That's why he replaced our best player in Acheampong for Tosin, the owners may be shit but this fucking clown is useless as well.
-
Because there was nothing amazing beating this poor Liverpool team, they lost to fucking United at home, our fanbase is delusional at it's finest.
-
ofc and some of you want to Chelsea join again the next club world cup lol what a desulional fanbase We need a summer break asap. ofc, next year we will have the world cup and some of the lads will not rest
-
Maresca admitting Pedro, Caicedo, Enzo are all carrying injuries. The lack of a summer break has caught up with this squad on top of the obvious issues
-
I’m very close to doing the same. I just love Chelsea too much to have stopped watching already. Nothing else to do on a weekend either .
-
Glad I stopped giving a shit and hardly watch matches anymore. Heard it was another shit show. Wont invest any interest until the directors and Maresca are both gone.
-
Lol we are behind Man United, incredible. A new low.
-
Achempong was playing well in CB But manager decided to go back to his favorite CB pairing of Tosin and Chalobah for the last 15 mins of the game. And they came up with a clownshow in the last few mins of the game. Also., in the 2nd half Sunderland played a low block and we didn't do much. That last part we can hopefully improve if Delap comes back fit. He might be needed to break down stubborn defenses.
-
Just basically Maresca having zero idea how to play against a low block, then a brain dead substitute taking off Josh who was our best defender and putting Tosin on who cost us the game (again)
-
this lot is a joke and Maresca can fuck off
-
we all saw that marc was not good enough as center forward and needed to be sub at half time. how the fuck maresca dont saw that?
-
couldn’t follow the game, i came to check the result and i see another home loss, wtf happened?
-
It’s his tactics and substitutions every week, as I said, look at Bournemouth palace Sunderland all managers with a tiny percentage of our budget completely more competent than him! he has one plan and no clue when it comes to a low block, you’d think he’d learn that these tactics aren’t working. Steve wonder can see that.
-
Liverpool spent way more. Look at their state Signing kids and ignoring key positions is not on the manager when we all know the set up at the club is owners make these decisions. Manager was clear about the need for a CB too but was ignored
-
this is a mix problem between maresca indaptation and board approach of the market We all know that we are done with this board
