  2. Could have traded the both of them for 1 single WC center back Badiashile is barely fit to play more than 5 games a year, and Disasi is just a waste of space at this point. Genius recruitment from the club.
  3. Top of the table club wants to get reinforcements to become even better, while the club barely in top 5 with a weakened squad and no shirt sponsor thinks everything is fine. Every time I see Eghbali on the screen I keep thinking of his ridiculous statement of how the old Chelsea were not competitive in either a sporting sense or financial sense. Yet he and his cronies have assembled a team that is struggling to keep the club within UEFA FFP rules, has failed to secure a permanent shirt sponsor, and is struggling to make progress on the results from last season. The major achievement is the low wage bill and low average of the squad. Great resale value., which is no doubt their number 1 priority.
  4. As I been saying I think Joe Shields is only good buying ex city players and that is worrying trend for me. He might not be good to look at elsewhere if this continues. Just because of Cole Palmer Joe Shields got tremedous power and ever since it's been all ex City players. Worrying.
  5. 🗯Racing Strasbourg and not Chelsea are keen on signing James McAtee on a potential loan deal. (@JacobsBen)

  7. This seasons goal, ‘top 4 finish’ After spending £2billion
  8. Ah duh you fools have not bought good defense!
  9. Who knows anymore Man U more likely to win at Wolves. Liverpool at Leeds.. Ohhh we've not won home games in a row so could be okay!
  10. Win here, and rearrange this Cracks, will, this, paper, the, over....
  11. Who appointed Maresca?? That’s where the real problem exists.
  12. 🔴Chelsea injury updates ahead of Bournemouth : - Cole Palmer and Reece James’s workload to be assessed - Hato is OUT ❌ - Cucurella’s hamstring being checked still - Wesley Fofana is back ✅ (@NizaarKinsella)
  13. I was really optimistic from the first half performance, as it's usually the first half that we're half asleep. and struggle to get out of second gear. However, the failure to execute three clear cut chances had the old doubt surfacing, like a cop waiting round the corner to arrest you, and you knew that we'd rue missing those chances. So it came to be....

  15. Gut feeling he starts Delap and Gittens here
  16. Fofana should be back, probably rest Cucurella depending on his recovery
  17. They went from being whatever it was clear to fighting for the Championship title when they did win it. That should've rung alarm bells for the board but instead nope lets hire him!
  18. Listened to a fan cast from a Leicester fan and he said this.. "Once the honeymoon period is over you will see how basic a manager he is. Zero plan B, bizarre substitutions and starting line ups and shackles players who should be playing"
  19. Read this somewhere The difference between maresca and madness is just the arrangement of letters.
  20. Pre/Post Match Discussion, Live Chat & Analysis Tuesday Dec 30th, 2025 Stamford Bridge 7:30 PM UK
  21. Whilst I agree with what you are saying is true, it is only true if you were talking about a club that hasn’t purchased a Gazillion players. If you combined all the wages from the endless amounts of players on the books (no exaggeration), you could most probably acquire a squad of far better quality by buying less in quantity and more in quality. The bloated roster could easily be trimmed and streamlined by cutting away the fat and brining in serious ballers whilst complying with PSR. The stadium excuse is being used a lot in recent times, which may be true but they could do more to help themselves by maybe getting a FOS sponsor and spending their money in more productive ways.
  22. I agree, but now that we’ve put this structure in place it’s going to be super hard to bin it. You sign a player and put them on £200k+ (or much more in Osimhen’s case) and then you’d surely have all these players who we signed recently on “cheap” wages questioning why they aren’t on similar. Like if a top new signing is put on £200k per week players like Caicedo, Palmer, Cucu etc will quite rightly tell the club that they deserve that too. Then our wage bill explodes again. Now, you can say “who gives a shit, it’s not my money” and in the past we would all agree. But with PSR and whatever else combined with our tiny stadium and match day revenue I don’t think we really could do away with this wage structure and comply. Under the current circumstances we’re kind of locked in to either buying kids and praying they turn out like Palmer or Estevão or we buy good but not great senior players like your João Pedro’s, Pedro Neto’s, Garnacho’s etc who won’t demand top wages but are also not the very top level we need.
  23. Yeah, this has all the makings of an ugly (as if it wasn't already) situation. Palmer showing discontent. Its not the first time he has expressed annoyance against Maresca (remember his comments after the conference league final) .The fact we go onto lose the match against Villa after his sub doesn't help Maresca. Yes, Palmer was below par in that match but the subs that came on afterwards hardly covered themselves in glory. Maresca on the other hand is probably at war with the board, and to be fair, Eghbali & co. have left him short-handed with their transfer strategy. No defensive reinforcements, and a lot of money spent on spent on squad-level wingers and underperforming strikers. Unfortunately, none of this gives Maresca any leverage.
