Eddie Howe has done a hugely respectable job for the most part at Newcastle and before that at his other jobs. But there’s a reason Newcastle aren’t jumping at the chance to renew his contract and why there’s rumors about them going and trying to get a big name to replace him. Newcastle have been as poor as we’ve been this season. Like the other PL managers we’re linked to I think he’d do a solid job in theory. But we need someone who has the ability to take us back to the very top which I don’t see him as.

Its good that Callum is interim until end of the season.
